I was blown away by the whole experience. The food was truly amazing, but the service and staff really stole the show. They made us feel so welcome the entire time and made sure we loved everything and even refilled our drinks multiple times. We ordered the large main plate and chose lamb for the protein and hummus for the side. The whole platter was amazing and large enough for two. The squash veggies were perfectly cooked, the lamb was so succulent and nicely grilled and the hummus was smooth and creamy. Even the bread was delicious but it became a bit hard after it cooled. We also tried their eggplant chickpeas dish with rice and it was very fresh and light. The quality of every single dish was 5 star. I even enjoyed the coriander salad with a garlicky dressing. This is the best Mediterranean middle eastern restaurant I’ve tried in a while. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Kansas, highly recommend 👍

Fairly crowded for a week night Meddys has attracted a young and lively crowd. We had no problem finding a seat. Order your food at the counter order your drinks at the bar and find a seat. The servers are excellent about keeping the water glass full and food served hot and the drinks cold. Easy to find just south of First watch near Mission road and 83rd. It looked to me like there were more seats outside on the covered patio than inside. Very casual and comfortable. Really a unique restaurant with great Mediterranean cuisine. The princess and I enjoyed this venue and are sure to return.

The cream tomato soup was amazing, everything else was good, a bit plain for us but good. Service is great, and I loved the bread with Olive oil. The minimalist atmosphere is refreshing.

Food: The food was delicious. I really enjoyed the hummus and pita bread. The only complaint I have is that the Mediterranean burrito was very small for the price, but it tasted amazing. The dessert was ok but way too sweet. Service: the service was great. Place/atmosphere: the decorations and ambiance of this place was 10/10. Perfect place to dine in with friends and family.

My new favorite casual-dining restaurant in the Kansas City suburbs. I love the concept. You order at the front counter, take a number, find a seat and your food is brought to you. Throughout your meal, wait-staff will check on you to see if you need anything. I ordered the falafel platter with salad, hummus, crispy pita chips and Spanish eggplant. Everything was super fresh and delicious for an excellent price. I also ordered a bowl of mushroom soup — the most favorable I’ve had in a long time. The service was fast and friendly. The young woman at the front took my order with a genuine smile. The waiter was attentive. Everyone was so well trained, and the restaurant apparently had an efficient system. I rarely give five stars and can’t say enough good things about Meddys.

A lazy afternoon lunch with the family found us at Meddy’s, where a friend said I’d need to try it and it’s the best place ever. I certainly can’t disagree with him. Both the food and service were excellent and we will certainly return in the near future.

I really like Meddys. I took my vegan kid with me two nights in a row because we lost our power and all of our food. Service was amazing the first night. Second time it was still good service but I noticed a man wearing a shirt that said regional director working and the servers seemed a little tense compared to the night before. They bring by a puffy pita bread appetizer for sharing which I think was a sourdough. It's really good. All of our food was fantastic. I didn't really see the need for a full service sit down bar and TVs inside. Table conversation is always better without the distraction of them and the food is really what you should focus on. It's really great. We'll be back.

Incredible food and excellent service! I got the Chicken Shawarma bowl with veggies and rice and it had robust flavor and a great serving size. Everything tasted so fresh and they were able to accommodate my gluten allergy. Staff is knowledgeable and kind and you can’t beat the fresh, delicious food! The aesthetically pleasing decor is an added bonus. And I can’t wait to try the patio when it warms up.

Everything was excellent! Had a main plate with chicken. Big enough to share!! Can't wait to go back and try some lamb and other things on their menu. Wish they had waiter service instead of order when you walk in!

Delicious food. We ordered a hummus stacked bowl with lamb and a chicken big bowl. They all tasted amazing. It's probably the best lamb i tasted in a mediterranean place. Service and atmosphere add up to make it a very good experience. Would like to try more dishes here.

This was my first visit, so I tried the main plate with beef and roasted vegetables, and I had to get a side of hummus. The flavors are so bright and fresh, and their pita just cannot be beat. It's made fresh, and has ruined me for other pita now, as my friend predicted. I could sit down to just a bowl of the hummus and be completely happy for the rest of the day. All of the servers were fantastic, the attention to all the tables was impeccable, and everything came out really quickly. I really like the concept of ordering at the counter, and then finding your own table, plus the atmosphere is gorgeous and very clean. There's also a heated patio available, and it was packed! I'm looking forward to getting one on my side of town someday soon!

One of my new favorite Mediterranean places! Their menu was very accommodating for dietary preferences. I eat gluten free and had no problems, I was even offered a gluten free pita. Prices, portions, and staff are amazing! This will be a new regular stop for us :)
