Absolutely loved it. We were there at the end of the season (Late Oct) so it was quiet. We went back night after night to try various Cypriot meals. Staff were friendly, meals generous, delicious and well priced. Many locals ate there which says it all. Simply nothing negative to write.

We had a late dinner and the staff was so kind! Huge and delicious portions of the calamari and octopus. We took a doggy bag. 100% recommended. Went in May 2022

Food was decent, I had the kartanas chicken, flavours worked quite well together chicken itself felt a bit too stewy for me and you could tell that it had been left in the pot a bit too long (slightly over cooked). Atmosphere was lovely and very traditional Cypriot restaurant, I’m sure other dishes are lovely as the staff were too.

Really good food, we had the meat meze. Way too much, but so yummy. Friendly Service, they really care, love the huge playground.

Another restaurant that pleasantly surprised us. Nice food and service and a great play area for the children including a big bouncy castle with slide. Enjoyed my meze and my brother really enjoyed his moussaka. Daughter's pizza was overdone unfortunately, but everything else was spot on.

The kolokasi is an authentic Cypriot dish served in a stone pot. It was flavoursome with the pork falling off the bone. The was a touch slow had to wait a good 5 minutes to order drinks. But overall this is one of best I've ever had.

Nice big restaurant with very comfortable seating, Staff were very friendly and attentive I had mixed kebab which was great and my wife had the moussaka which was really tasty and a huge portion! Nice drinks too and very good prices We will be back for the stifado soon EDIT; Came back for the stifado which is definitely worth a visit for! Amazing, And then returned again on our last night for the moussaka which my wife and I both agree is the best we had while in pernera. Super authentic food and amazingly friendly staff! We enjoyed our staying at this place, one of the best restaurants on the island! We loved the calamari rings, the fish soup and the haloumi cheese. The staff was really nice and friendly. We can not wait to come here again!

Great food, big portions. Lovely music playing in the background. There's a small playground for smaller kids.

They are back open! Had the Mezze for 2 a few nights back and it did not disappoint. So much food and it was all delicious. The wait staff were super friendly and even though it was a quite night had a great evening. The 1Litre house wine is probably worth a miss is the only thing.

Highly recommended!! Extremely welcoming place suitable for families with babies. Delicious food - make sure to ask for the mushrooms and zucchini with scrambled eggs. Very clean place. The staff was super polite.

Considering its location, this is a really nice, authentic Cyprus taverna / restaurant. We started with dolmades which were served in a light tomato sauce, followed by a mixed Cypriot platter for two. I can't fault either dish. The dolmades were tasty and there was more than enough for two on the mixed platter. The waiter was from Bulgaria and was very pleasant and helpful. For me, the only thing letting it down was a couple of big tv screens, but they were quiet and did not detract from the great food. Recommended.

The service was very friendly, good prices also! The was good but not the best I ever had! Also the portions are very, very big!

I'm not a review guy, but this place totally deserved their 5 star. This place is very quiet at day and pretty fun at night. Staff is kind and professional. They will serve you with highest quality of service in any language. They have a playground for your kids, you can bring them there and concentrate on the meal. Dishes are very delicious. Traditional Cyprian cuisine: kleftiko, stifado beef, the best mousaka at the island, and, of course, mese. We visit this place every year, except 2020. And every time our soul sing a some beautiful song. Cyprus for us is a Kartanas's mese at first place. I strongly recommend this place for every gourmand. But, I have a one suggestion for owners: please, add the warning in the menu: "All servings designated for two standard adult human's stomach".
