    Great ride in this great preserve that's close to the city... The path connects throughout the Chicagoland area neighboring townships and villages. This trail will take you all the way North as far as Schaumburg, and possibly further.

    got followed and chased by a creep, do not hike here if you are looking for a family friendly trail. sketchy and potentially dangerous spot

    Have only been through by water but looks like a beautiful place. Salt Creek and the Salt Creek trail run through. If passing through the park by kayak take care there is a dam located within this preserve, 0.4 miles downstream of 31st street bridge. Canoe chute located river right
