You will taste most of Asia here at bonito kitchen. They have Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese food. We ordered one of each to taste and the food experience was phenomenal. All the dishes where true to their original flavor and made with quality ingredients. The atmosphere is very calm and nice. Waiters could improve. Beverages are good. Will definetly come here again to try new stuff.

I’ve been building this place up in my mind for a while now, and it did not disappoint. As a matter of fact, my imaginations paled in comparison. The pork belly boa was so delicious. And I can’t say enough about the spicy noodles. The chicken wings were so crispy and tasty with just the right amount of spice. The ramen was tasty, too! I tried the pink martini and it was delicious as well. (I dove into the food so fast, I didn’t get photos!)

We loved the ramen here!!! We tired the papaya salad, kimchi fried, and the shrimp spring rolls, all tasty. Especially loved their homemade siracha and Chile oil. I’d love to come back and t rest their lobster dumplings which were sold out by the time arrived.

Bonito kitchen is a great place to dine in while you’re in Puerto Vallarta! I enjoyed their decor and the beautiful outdoor seating with all the vines and Edison light bulbs which renders a cosy atmosphere. The service was excellent. Our server was very friendly, provided prompt service and recommendations. The drinks/cocktails are very well executed and were presented beautifully. We ordered the steamed fried shrimp buns, steamed shrimp dumplings, japchae veggie noddles and the popcorn cauliflower and they were all very tasty! The steamed Bao and dumplings were my favorites. I admit that it’s quite expensive for two people but it’s worth it especially for a special occasion or date night as the quality of food was fresh. I would return again in order to try other things off their menu. Totally recommend this place for some delicious Asian good foods👌🤩💯

One of my favorite places in all of Puerto Vallarta. Beautiful setting, super fast service, friendly staff, and absolutely delicious food and cocktails! We tried almost everything and everything was perfect! Special shout out to Larissa 💙 She is fairly new on their staff but was so very kind and seemed genuinely happy to help. I can’t wait to go back!

Food: I ordered tan tan ramen and shrimp 🍤 toast bao. + At first I was afraid that the dough was too thick. It might make the dish dry and overwhelm the rest of the ingredients. Well, it worked out! The flavor of the shrimp 🍤 toast was very intense. On top of that it was juicy. The sauce was tasty as well. I still believe that it might be even better with a thinner dough though. + Tan tan ramen tasted good. I have to admit that I had better ramen but I was not disappointed at all. A well rounded dish! Spices were well used, and I liked the presentation in that bowl. The broth was ok, but it could be more intense/flavourful. Staff: Very friendly and attentive. Asked a couple times if everything was ok! Top! Taking everything into account, I would recommend a visit!

Food was impeccable, service was amazing, and the garden area was out of this world magical. Highly recommend the pork belly bao buns and the frozen rosè .

Way overpriced for noodles! I live outside of NYC and the prices are similar. The portions are small. How much would it cost to add more ramen or the other noodles?! The quality lacked as well. Not very authentic flavors. I visited years ago for the Pho on Saturday and was equally disappointed. Would not have returned but one of my friends wanted to have his Birthday dinner here. C'mon almost 200 pesos for a small to medium size bowl of fried rice?! Lived with my Japanese partner for 15 years. We went to many various noodle places and I don't remember being served chunks of red cabbage with my noodles. Archie's Wok by the pier is also overpriced, but you're paying for the neighborhood. But the food quality, authenticity and portions cannot be criticized. This place has a long way to go!

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Vallarta for delicious food, fun ambiance, incredible drink menu and insanely affordable. It’s very rare that I go to a restaurant where every single dish is delicious. I’ve been here about four times and I’ve tried a good percentage of the menu and not one thing was below par. Great job to everyone here for the quality, service, creativity and consistency.

My miso ramen just tasted like soy sauce and salt. Saltiest thing I’ve ever had anywhere. It seems like they spill the soy sauce in my bowl but served it anyway. In the USA I would have not accepted it. You can see in the pic, the middle was actually a deep pool of soy sauce. My tongue was parched like a salted slug after eating. Super weird. I was trying to go out for something healthy too, but something this salty was probably very bad for health. I had really been looking forward to this place, and live near by but won’t be back due to bad chef taste or poor consistency or prepping- whatever made my dish so bad. The atmosphere in here is lovely though. I ordered the same dish I got at a place in Versalles recently to compare, and obviously there was no comparison- the other place was so much better and palatable food.

Delicious food and ambiance was nice and cold AC inside. I would give it a 5 start but the waiters were pushing us a lot to drink and we don’t drink during our meals.

Beautiful location away from the tourist area. It’s a lovely little spot with greenery and flowers around. And the food was amazing, best ramen I’ve had and also great options for vegetarians. The staff are super friendly! Definitely recommend:)

Memorable Birthday dinner with Family and friends. Gracious hosts that made sure we were well taken care for. The topper, a steaming Fried Rice-Dough Sticks with the double-dips to die for. Thank you for being gracious and accommodating.

One of the best experiences I’ve had in Puerto Vallarta! Incredible food, ambiance, and service. Every dish and drink had focus and intent, and our server Brett was excellent! A must try for any PV trip.

One of the best meals I've had in Puerto Vallarta. Everything on the menu looked delicious. Great food. Good prices. Nice service and ambiance. Karaage chicken wasn't crispy. Could benefit from corn starch and double/triple frying.

Service was a bit slow but the food was amazing and the staff were very nice! Cucumber mint lemonade, cucumber salad, pan fried pork ginger dumplings, grilled shrimp fresh rolls. Great prices - would come back again!
