This place is really fancy. The service is amazing and the food is tasty! If you’re looking to splurge one night in Puerto Vallarta I recommend this place. It is very fancy. They show you all the different meats you can get and also all the alcohol you can get. It’s a little overwhelming if you don’t know what you’re getting into but overall it’s super good. The steaks are amazing and safe to eat if you like it medium rare. The cocktails are beautiful too! I would recommend! And even we don’t like fancy places but at least try it before you leave Puerto Vallarta. I added our bill just so people can get an idea of how much it is before going. But go try it!

By far the best Argentinian steakhouse I have ever visited. We were literally overwhelmed with the level of service and attention to every detail. The bartender custom made the best margarita I've ever had right in front of us, the lobster was simply amazing, and the steak was so juicy and flavorful I thought I had died and gone to heaven. My pocketbook thought so too....

While this place looks absolutely gorgeous, we were not exactly blown away by our drinks and food. The one thing we noticed about this restaurant is that there are a LOT of staff, and they are all very attentive. To the point where it's a little too much because they literally stand by your table while you eat. I get waiter means to "wait" on patrons but it gets a bit awkward when a few of them are standing right in front of you... Watching you and your partner eat... Staff also seemed a tad bit pushy: when we sat down, the first and only menu we got was for drinks. It was after we ordered cocktails that they gave us the food menu. We also had a guy come by twice with a cart of expensive liquor and he asked us several times if we wanted a shot. Oh, and there is someone who will come to your table to present seafood and meat (this I didn't mind so much). They won't tell you prices though! So don't get bamboozled into dropping hundreds of $$$ unknowingly like other reviewers! We ordered several cocktails: the mojito plus two other ones I can't remember. It was neat to see the mixologist bring over a cart and make the drinks right in front of you. The presentation is great and the drinks were tasty, but a bit on the sweeter side. Nothing about the taste of the drinks stood out. When we finally ordered our food we shared several items: Chicken teriyaki - It was surprisingly small and we found the meat dry. Sauce was good but watery, it would have been nice if it was thicker. Dish came with a few pieces of brocolli. No carbs whatsoever (I assumed it would have come with rice?). Mashed potatoes with truffle - This was both our favorite thing that we ordered. Super smooth and buttery. Tons of truffle. Who would have thought we would love the side dishes so much! It came with two cheese crackers but these were super stale and inedible. Corn madalena - This was our second favorite item we ordered, and also another side dish lol. It had a good kick of spice to it, tons of parmesan cheese. Bone marrow tacos - Had high hopes for these because we love bone marrow but the steak it came with was very dry. It would have tasted better if there was melted cheese or cramalized onion as opposed to raw. The bone marrow portion was decent I guess, a bit on the smaller side. I've had better bone marrow tacos back home in Canada. We ended our dinner with cappuccinos. These were good and came with a delicious cookie. Overall the restaurant is a great experience, looks beautiful, staff is always available (because there's a ton of them standing around and watching you), but food and drinks are mediocre. As a first time experience sure give it a try, but going back again? Don't bother!

This place is not only walking distance from our hotel, (sunset plaza) it has the most amazing food and service! I have a thing for French onion soup, I always order it if it’s on the menu. The French onion soup here was life changing. It is not only the best I’ve ever had. It was hands down, no question, by a mile the best I’ve had. I would pay a ton of money to have it again. This is the kind of dish you would go hours out of your way to have. I want it again. Right now. The other food and drinks were great as well. The bone marrow tacos were really good as was the lobster Mac n cheese. The service was phenomenal as well. Always had between 1-4 people at or near the table attending to any need. Just go to this place, it’s an experience!

Amazing place. The Decor is fabulous. The food presentation and quality was way above our expectations. There were many servers at our disposal, they made us feel welcome and unique. Every high end restaurant should take a class there. Live band with soft music that does not require you to scream to hear your guests. You guys made our evening unforgettable ❤️

Fantastic service and food! Not exaggerating when I say world-class service. This is my favorite upper end restaurant in PV so far. There seems to be common theme among the upper end restaurants in PV (my other experience being Porforio's) to add a little bit of club atmosphere between the large screen tvs and music. They played every single song I love, ranging from 80's classic to current reggaeton, to current pop and EDM hits. Point is, this may not be a necessarily be the best place for a quiet dinner for two where one may want to get lost in each other's presence. Having said that, the decor/ambiance is fantastic for anything other than that. If you're trying to impress someone (or yourself), go here. Think lounge chic mixed with clubroom and bahama style. The wait staff was simply amazing. We did have a larger party, but it felt like we had the entire restaurant catering to our every whim. We had at least one to two waiters at beck/call the entire night, to go with regular appearances by the manager and the master barkeep and his cart of spirits. Menu/food selection presentation was fantastic. God is in the details, and the staff lived in it; from a keen eye towards making sure that we were helped with seating and presenting napkins (not just at initial seating, but as we moved around during the party), to making sure we were never short on drinks. Food and drinks were on point with very good presentation and taste; had the Pescado Mentiquilla Negra as the main course (trust the waiter and get the white wine to complement- the dish sauce is strong) and the Tacos de Trompo to start off with. I have still yet to find an upper class restaurant that matches a good old fashioned street stand for the proper amount of delicious, savory greasiness that a taco should have, but it was very still enjoyable. All in all, would definitely recommend while in PV. I think a proper travel eating experience in any location should include everything from street fare to something on the upper end, and La Madalena serves the latter well.

The service and ambiance was amazing! The food and drinks are pricey so take that into consideration when coming here. Recommendations: - Make sure before you order to say that it'll be a split check if you go in a group of people and plan to pay separately. - When making a reservation ask to sit in doors because it can be hot sitting outside. Our bartender Gustavo made our experience unforgettable. And one of the employees gave us a free shot for my husbands birthday. My husband had an amazing dinner! Also, the bathrooms are upstairs and no AC so that's a minor inconvenience.

The food was incredible for the price point and the decor/vibe was jaw dropping. I got the fettuccine Alfredo and although it was absolutely delicious, the portion size was disappointing. The cocktails are made at the table, and service was very attentive, but sometimes overwhelming. Would still highly recommend!!

Ambiance, food and service was incredible. We were a party of 16, so sat in an area all to ourselves and the service was so attentive. The food came out quickly and we were never sitting with empty plates! The only complaint is that they forgot several drinks after the 1st round, we had to ask 2-3 for them, and then got charged for multiple drinks that we didn’t order, which we didn’t catch until after we paid the bill (they only allow 2 credit cards per table)… this is my fault though since we didn’t audit the bill on the spot. The drinks were creative but barely any liquor (most tasted like yummy mock tails). I’ll chalk it up to so many waiters ringing up beverage orders quickly to attend to us, and not checking if it actually came out with such a large group.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Madelena, and my experience was absolutely fantastic. The service was superb - the staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was exceptional. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the ribeye chocherone; it was bursting with flavor and seasoned so well. I also tried their hamburgers, which were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection that the meat melted in my mouth. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was great; it was cozy and inviting with a great ambiance. I highly recommend La Madelena to anyone in the area, and I can't wait to come back!

I have been to steakhouses all over the world-France, Chicago, NY and this is the best place I have ever been to. We decided to eat here based on the vibe when we walked by. We were so pleasantly surprised!! It has such a cool lounge vibe and a live DJ spins chill hits. We are a family of 5 and walked in on a Saturday night around 7PM. We were lucky because they were super busy! Each table gets a personal mixologist and at least 3 waiters assigned to them. My husband doesn’t drink alcohol and still had an amazing cocktail! The waiters brought out huge platters of seafood and steak. They made suggestions that didn’t disappoint. We could have spent over $1,000 easily! Our mouths were drooling! We finally had to decide on a few dishes to start. Cocktails: my husband had a berry mock tail and it was well balanced and tasty. I had a canard cocktail. It had fresh passion fruit and didn’t disappoint! All the cocktails had dry ice!! Apps: we literally ate 3 bags of chips! Their house made sauces-the red roasted one and white one were so tasty! I ended up bringing them home with me! We had the toro with truffles. It was like butter! I could have eaten 5 plates of this!! We also had lobster tacos. They added a 5th one to accommodate us. It was a little messy since it was lettuce wrapped, but I loved the torch flavor and spice. We also split lobster Mac and cheese. It was so cheesy with huge chunks of lobster. I wanted to lick the bowl!! For mains: we split the USDA bone in prime ribeye. It was cooked to perfection and finished with Maldon salt! For sides, we had Mexican street corn that was cheesy and topped with spicy chips! The garlic mushrooms were also amazing and juicy. We also had truffle fries with spicy ketchup. They had great truffle flavor and the ketchup was the bomb! To top it all off we got the churro cart for my daughters birthday! It had sparklers and came with 3 sauces. This place is absolute perfection!! I can’t wait to come back with my husband!!

The atmosphere, interior design & service is absolutely amazing. This is a great place for a fine dining experience. They treat you like royalty. The food is pretty good, but very pricey and there isn’t very many vegetarian options.

Wow! The drinks, food, and staff! Such a unique and fun experience in Puerto Vallarta. Street tacos were delicious and the lobster tacos were fresh and the portions were huge. Churro/dessert cart was a great show stopper. Every single dish seemed to have its our unique presentation and introduction and the entire dinner felt like a party. Such a great time here.

My friend and I had one last night in Puerto Vallarta, and we were so lucky to stumble upon this restaurant - don’t miss out on this gem! Wonderful service, great lively music and captivating decor, and the food is AMAZING! The popcorn cauliflower is to die for!!

An exceptional dining and customer service experience. Very memorable. Staff were so welcoming and attentive. Start with a mixed drink...it's an experience. I suggest the Mojito. French onion soup fantastic. Soft shell crab tacos and beef and marrow tacos 🌮 were delicious. Finished up with some churos. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place for an occasion, to impress or just to experience customer service excellence.

Place is always fire, must try if you in PV. Hands down the best spot for a great experience with what PV restaurants have to offer. It’s personally my favorite place to enjoy a meal with friends. The Cesar salad is a hit and there popcorn shrimp have to order does. There ribeyes are always delicious and if you like me I eat mines in a taco ask the waiter for the molcajete hot sauce they make off menu. You won’t be disappointed.

Wow! 🤩 such a wonderful experience to dine here. The waiters are exceptional, highly trained and extremely attentive, the organic food was just delicious, the drinks are amazing and the ambience with the huge scene showing nature from around the world is captivating. I just loved everything about the La Madalena which you must dine in when visiting Puerto Vallarta.

Amazing place for that special dinner! The atmosphere is great, drink selection is huge, food is second to none, service was top notch. It’s expensive but unforgettable. We went for a dual purpose, 1 couples 30th anniversary, and my wife’s B’day. It’s hard to put into words how great it was.

Everything was amazing! It was an experience in itself. Interiors were very cool. The cocktails so yummy and made to order at your table. The food arrived so quickly and was sooo good. We had the rib-eye, salmon, truffle mashed potatoes and veggies. Ended dinner with espresso! The DJ was on point too.

Ambiance is a ten! Drinks out of this world! Servers amazing: they move so fast and skillful and have a big smile on their face and crank a joke all the time. Food: original, well balanced and deliciously prepared! A must visit if you are in Puerto Vallarta!

Armundo was absolutely fantastic!!! He made my bday dinner spectacular. The food I can’t stop dreaming about. The attentiveness to service and quality was awesome. Everything was so good we booked a reservation for tomorrow to try new items.

Wether it's drinks or a full meal this is definitely the spot. The service is amazing. Food is awesome but EXPECT to pay. While everything was great be careful as they try and upsell you on everything and at times the service seemed pushy. As soon as your drink is done they are by your side trying to sell or upsell something more. DJ starts around 7pm Thursday - Saturday so a good time. I recommend a reservation.

What an experience! DJ was incredible - playlist was amazing. Loved every dish. Bone marrow tacos, pork tacos, ribeye, Caesar salad, artichoke salad… and then we ordered 4 desserts and somehow ate all of them. HIGHLY recommend the carrot cake - it’s huge but the best carrot cake I’ve ever had! Pablo and Osvoldo took great care of us.

As soon as I walked in the atmosphere was incredible. The service was unmatched. Had a lemon drop martini made table side, very tasty/good. Ordered lobster Mac n cheese. It was okay. Maybe I could have chosen something better. I was dining alone and didn't want large portions of food. I would go back.

Spectacular interior design and overall very high-end dining experience. We had good Mexican red wine, rib eye steak with asparagus, and amazing Fettuccine. The dessert was one of the most flavorful I've ever had and that was Guayaba pie!

This is the best restaurant I had been to while visiting PV, hands down! It was so good we went the last night of our trip after going there our first night. We had A5 wagyu, ribery steaks, shrimp, truffle mashed potatoes, lobster mac n cheese and a ton of other stuff. Nothing to complain about as it all tasted great! Also tried a few top notch tequilas. Great experience!

This restaurant seems for tourists with excellent vibes. But the overall experience isn’t so good because they keep trying to sell add on items throughout entire meal, and the pasta we ordered is definitely overcooked with broken pieces. The soft crab tacos are excellent, and the flavor is rich and tasty. The cocktails are pretty sweet with light alcohol comparing with most restaurants we tried in Pureto Vallarta, but the presentation/glass is cute. The server are friendly and helpful when they are not trying to sell add on foods.

Could not have been more perfect! Beautiful setting, delicious food and every element was a show. Best Lobster Mac I've ever had. We had a fabulous time, can't wait to go back.

Hands down the best service and food I’ve ever received, not only in Puerto Vallarta but anywhere ever!!!! A host opened our taxi door right away, at the door our hostess asked if we were celebrating anything or had any allergies, when we were seated we had several staff members greeting us and they placed napkins on our laps and discussed menu items and specials. Our cocktails were made table side and were even made with liquid smoke, absolutely delicious! We ordered way too much food, but somehow managed to eat almost all of it because it was so delicious! They made us a watermelon sashimi that was phenomenally marinated, the grilled artichoke which was out of this world and my favorite thing, popcorn cauliflower which was certainly the best I’ve ever had, Caesar salad, and last but not least fettuccine Alfredo which was honestly the best I’ve ever had in my life.l. Oh and we also had the fettuccine Alfredo with salmon. This is an absolute must restaurant to visit, the vibe was everything and we will totally be back!

Great vibe esp. the music here! Was gonna just get a drink here but bf ended up getting a lobster mac&cheese. A REAL Lobster with it, no joke! The service is very good here and make you feel like a million dollar leaving here 😉
