Very basic. Free Breakfast is a joke and have bread, fruits. There is always a crowd for toaster sometimes having to wait up to 5 people and there is no queue. They don't have facility to refill your bottle. They said I can use the gym to refill my bottle but they don't always fill the water in the gym. I had to ask them to refill for 3 or 4 times. Even after asking, they don't always fill it. They want people to pay and buy the water for 12 pesos. Not that it's a lot of money but it is a lot of plastic. Marriott wants to be sustainable when it comes to washing towels or flushing toilets but not when it comes to refilling water. So very unfriendly. The room is clean but the hot water is not hot enough and the water pressure is regulated and not very great for a good shower after a tiring day. Internet connection to as pathetic.it was very slow to begin with and it only got worse. There was no Internet for almost three days in the room but you would have internet at the lobby. They said they were working on it for all the 3days. The towel was missing after house keeping and we had to call Staff 3 times to replace it. So was tej case with body lotion. The staff is not rude but not very helpful. The break fast is not charged back to the room. You have to pay separately. Overall, it's a branded motel. Not worth the price!

Great hotel, very well located. Close to markets and convenience stores, and a 15 minute walk from the beach. Breakfast is good although not very diverse, but it’s free so well worth it. For those wanting different options, they have a (paid) la carte menu. Some reviews complain about the bar located right in front of the hotel, which can be a bit noisy during the evenings. To us, this was a definitely a pro, since the bar itself was very lively, with great options of food and drinks. Something to keep in mind however, if travelling with children or if you're noise sensitive. Rooms are very cozy and modern, and all staff from servers to cleaners are very friendly. Special thanks to Fatima (manager) who was very helpful during our stay. Definitely staying here again whenever back to PV.

Great hotel. Especially very nice and helpful waiter at breakfast, I would really like to know his name, unfortunately I didn't have time to ask him and I regret it. :( If it is possible please, I will be very grateful. (taller one) thank you! I am not in Mexico already so you are my last hope..Everything was great.

There was only one person who showed true hospitality at this hotel. I would’ve been okay and not left a review at all because no one was rude to me, but the fact that I left money in my room and it was stolen by the housekeeping lady is unacceptable!! I was gone 10 minutes tops and came back to get my money, and she was in the room. She blatantly denied seeing it. Although I was not expecting this to happen, in hind sight I should have used the safe.

Stay away! Poorly handled situation and liars! We arrived today and hotel seemed to be under renovation. A lot of construction that the lobby is at the back of hotel. We arrived 2:30pm for check in and was told by front desk to come back 3pm since there is no water and electricity temporarily due to the construction. Then moved to 3:30pm. We were ok to wait and was going to eat anyway since we just flew in. We returned to the hotel 4pm and still no water and electricity so we could not check in our room. We could not wait any longer since we are very exhausted. Very unusual for hotel to notify guests of this current situation/construction ahead of time via email or text so we could’ve made other arrangements. Instead, staff was rude about it like its our fault that we did not want to wait any longer. There was no guarantee anyway and they lost our trust already. We decided to leave and move to another hotel. Poor customer service and communication. Will not come back! The worst part is I reported this to my credit card travel specialist and was told that this hotel admitted it was under construction but denied power outage and no water. Liars! Computers were down so check in was manual…All your staff was sweater profusely in your “powered” hotel. Can’t believe this for a Marriott property.

Small clean rooms. Horrible coffee served with complimentary breakfast. Two separate days I got coffee. There was so much coffee grounds in the coffee each day that I poured the coffee out each time.

It right down the street from the airport. It has a shuttle too. There is a restaurant bar right next to it. The hotel room is nice. Elevators uses room keys to your floor. It seems safe. And you get breakfast. Well cereal, fruit, and coffee and stuff. It's not bad for the price.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Advertised free shuttle but doesn't mention that it's only until noon. Advertised a suite but was told only a king standard room. Construction blaring next to the pool which is located next to a parkinglot. No sun past 2pm at the pool. Looks like IKEA in the rooms with no closet. The closet is literally a bar on the wall that is 12 inches long. The rooms smell terrible. They would not comp a cab even though they had no shuttle service.

Rooms are basic but clean. No mini fridge or coffee maker. Shower has decent pressure and there is an air conditioner. Beds are firm, I find them quite comfortable. Hallways can be quite noisy. Front desk service is good, competent and friendly. The included breakfast is a bit of a joke. There's never enough, trays empty really fast but they are slow to refill. You wait and wait but all I managed was a small bowl of bran flakes, a banana and a black coffee. Would have made toast, but there was no bread. Would have had more fruit but guy in front of me cleared the tray so there was nothing left for anyone else. Overall it's a nice hotel with a great location.

Great place overall. But there customer service skills sucks!! The first day check was at 3 pm did not get our room till 5 pm waiting in the front lobby for 2 hours!!! When asked about it they said in 15 minutes. Then Had to beg for an extra shower towel not till I went downstairs to get it. I would call from the room to have them bring it to me and nothing!!! Smh poor customer service. IDK if they're short staffed or what!!

Free breakfast is a joke. Just bread, pre packaged pastries and a slice of cheese if your lucky. compared to the Hilton free breakfasts. Rooms are small and mattress is hard. Hpt water is not always available. Not up to Marriot standards. Stay at a Hilton property. Staff is nice though.

This hotel has great potential. However, there are a couple of issues, mostly staff related, that prevent them from improving the overall experience: PROS: - The hotel itself looks rather new or renovated. - The rooms are comfortable and with good amenities. - The rooms also have great noise isolation. - The pool area is very nice and clean. - The location is great, it is close to a mall and there are several restaurants and shopping areas nearby for all budgets. - The front desk staff was very polite and the bell boy was very kind and privided some real good recommendations. CONS: - Not very clean: we found some stains in the chairs and dust on the floors. - staff: we asked for one extra towel as well as shampoo and conditioner (there was none at the room washroom) and even when the receptionist asked their staff for it several times for it, it never got to us. - pool bar: it is managed by a separate company, and we found the prices to be a bit high for a very insipid pina colada. And their card machine was broken, so cash only. - breakfast: you have to arrive very early to get some of the food, other than toast, fruit and cereals. - Security: there was a security guard later in the evening, but he was visibly intoxicated. In summary, it is an unexpensive hotel, but with the right management, it could do way better. I don't think I would be staying there again unless I see some good reviews in the future, letting me know that the situation has changed.

Marginal hotel. Not many tourists stay there. It has a nauseating smell from the cleaning products used. It’s near the Walmart which is convenient if you need to buy some things but you’ll have to Uber often to the Malecon for dinner. Breakfast doesn’t include eggs. That’s an extra fee. And they didn’t clean our room one day. The next day, they didn’t finish until 5p when we were getting back to the room, tired from an excursion. On a positive note, the employee, Adalberto, was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating.

All in all the place is clean and comfortable. Rooms are extremely basic, no refrigerator, microwave, and only one drawer. There are a few hangers that are exposed, but they are above the safe which doesn’t allow for hanging a dress. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and definitely helped resolving any issues they could. The staff made the state much more pleasant. Breakfast is very basic and there are no eggs as part of the buffet. The maintenance person was also very helpful and working out technical issues in the room, including straightening out the TV and working the remote. The ocean view is beautiful and probably worth paying a little extra for it.

PROS: The AC was a my life force and worked great. The room was decent, and view is great! Staff friendly and nice! Nice, central location. CONS Main entrance was under construction. No biggie...but when I went to check in my room wasn't ready and I had to wait....strange. There was a light scent of urine in the washroom even though it looked clean. I'm assuming it had something to do with the construction? I told the cleaners but nothing helped. I even tried cleaning it myself. Wifi was like dialup. I'd use a VPN, as you should...but the wifi would often slow to a stop and disconnect me...forcing me into mobile data. This caused me to exceed my data...Yada Yada. A nightmare. I'd recommend bringing your own preloaded sim card and TURN YOUR WIFI OFF. I wanted to love this place- but they made it really, really hard.

Our experience here was about what you could expect from a 2-star hotel I guess. Room was small but had everything I'm used to (except a mini-fridge). Bathroom didn't have hand soap, but did have "body soap" and shampoo. The towels were replaced most of the time but not always. The room service kept unplugging our phone chargers from the wall for some reason, and one time they even put them in our suitcases (why?). They had a vending machine with extra stuff if you needed it, but they did replace our soap and shampoo when we got low. Everything was clean when we got there, and the wifi worked well. The window faced the mountains and was a pretty view. It had a blackout shade that blocked out light entirely. It was amazing. The first morning I thought it was still night but it was already 9. Unfortunately they recently downgraded their breakfast to a continental, but it was something at least. Laundry was expensive, so we lived without it. The pool was nice and never crowded. They only gave us one key card for our room, so don't lose it. We had several panic moments. I saw a shuttle out front with the hotel name on it, so I asked if it went to the airport, and they said it was a commercial food shuttle only. Not sure what that means. The location was very convenient to a lot of the tours we booked. Only a few minutes from the airport. Right across the street from Vallarta Adventures, which is one of the largest tour operators in the area. We walked to the public beach access, which was only a 15-20 minute walk. Walmart is a short walk down the street, and we underpacked, so we ended up there several times during our trip. Just down the road from the hotel you can find several street food stands, and a nice little ice cream shop.

It should be a crime to call it a 4 star hotel. Tiny rooms, no refrigerator, hard bed and sink doesn't work. Prepare to be extremely disappointed.

Friendly staff but it's far from the beach and the really good street food. Still a nice stay at a reasonable price.

If you need a room to stay for one night and all you need is a bed to sleep in it's fine. It's clean but morning, I had no hot water, no face cloth to isr and no glasses to drink out of if you have your own drinks. Very basic but clean. The restaurant in front is of the hotel is cheap, fun and good if you want a local experience.

Good hotel in Puerto Vallarta with a nice view on the mountains or the ocean. The location is exceptional and it is very close to everything (airport, cruise terminal, beach). Probably the breakfast is a bit poor. Other than that I would definitely come back.

Prices were a little higher than usual because the PV Marathon start/finish line was right outside.

This hotel has a great staff, extremely clean, pleasantly located with a great view of the marina or the mountainside it doesn't matter. We had a small matter that needed taken care of and was immediately addressed by a very wonderful staff. Safety is of utmost importance! Right down from the staff entering the hotel to using a card key for the elevator. The complimentary breakfast was great!! Highly recommend and will be back!

Flies in hallway No hot water Disaster Response to Alicia (edit): Absolutely not, you don't even answer the phones when my credit card company tried to contact the property. They made 3 attempts. Terrible. Please go bankrupt

Pros- 8th floor views are good, and we appreciated the included breakfast. Coffee was not as bad as others have said. Wifi good in main lobby. Cons - the breakfast was extremely limited with sugary options (more fruit please!), lots of single used plastics here! Thin walls, we heard all our neighbours, plus the hotel has a dorm feel to it. We also had a dirty towel on check in. Wifi kept dropping out in room.

  • 3/5 Veronica L. 2 years ago on Google
We were really disappointed that there is no place to fill our water bottles. It seems like a very basic request, especially if we don't want to use plastic all the time. Wifi was really good and the pool area was very nice. It did not make sense for breakfast, how we could touch some things, like the cups and juice, but not others. The breakfast is not very good and neither is their menu. Staff always wore masks and very friendly and patient. Lots of hand sanitizer and staff were constantly cleaning inside. Room cleaning was not very good, there was sand in our sheets. Overall, it's fine.
