Excellent vegetarian cuisine. The aromatic water is a nice unexpected touch. The food is so flavorful that you don't miss the meat. Warm family-friendly casual atmosphere. Very reasonable prices.

We went here 3 times on our trip to PV for dinner. We loved the anti-pasti: great flavoring and well cooked. The pizza was amazing. I had not had Italian pizza in a long time and this place wowed us. We went and got pizza again. We returned to try pasta and that was good, but pizza was the winner. The dessert was strange, recommend you make up your own mind for that.

Such an amazing experience! Everything we ate was made with so much passion and the ingredients were so fresh. Everyone who worked there made us feel at home. I felt as if we were eating home made Italian food. This is hands down the best meal we had in Puerto Vallarta. This place is a must visit while visiting!

If I am going to review a restaurant or Cafe, I do so with candor because when I travel, I rely on reviews and have been surprised, more than once, at how over-the-top reviews do not come close to my experience. Veggitalia came highly recommended by locals who own businesses in the area, so I ignored the few negative reviews and came here for a late lunch. In a word ... spectacular. Wine, bread, amazingly fresh salad, and yummy lasagna + 20% tip = 516 pesos. I came back the following week and had pizza! Extremely pleasant space. Cool in late afternoon. If you want cheaper food, you can certainly find it. But you get your money's worth here.

A Delightful Dining Experience at Veggitalia in Puerto Vallarta I recently had the pleasure of dining at Veggitalia in Puerto Vallarta, and it was a delightful experience overall. Before heading to the restaurant, I recommend giving them a call to confirm their opening hours and inquire about wait times. Upon arrival, we were impressed by the variety of dishes available. The pizza, lasagna, and pasta we ordered were all outstanding. The chef demonstrated exceptional skill and was willing to accommodate off-menu requests for those seeking a unique culinary experience. One notable gesture that added a personal touch to our visit was the chef pouring my Celsius drink into a wine glass, showcasing their attention to detail and customer satisfaction. I'd highly recommend Veggitalia for a memorable dining experience. Just remember to check ahead for their hours and availability, as this popular spot can have varying wait times. Don't forget to explore the off-the-beaten-path options if you're feeling adventurous—you won't be disappointed!

The gluten free pizza was more than delicious. It is an ideal place to visit in Puerto Vallarta if you are searching for some gluten free Italian food. The owner was really friendly.

Great place for an intimate meal. Amazing service and good food. Mushroom appetizer was wonderful! We had the GF pizza as it was highly recommended. It was good. Not the best that I've had.

Awesome choice for people looking to enjoy vegan or vegetarian cuisine. They offer most dishes either vegetarian or fully vegan depending on your preference. They also can make most dishes gluten free! I’ll be bringing all my plant based visitors here!

I LOVE Italian food but being vegan and Gluten-free makes it tough to find a place with both - its usually one or the other and the latter is usually not very good. But tonight I hit pay dirt: Veggitalia. I thought they'd have a few options that fit the bill but EVERYTHING on the menu had a vegan and Gluten-free option! This included a cheese plate, antipasto platter, Eggplant Parmigiano, pizzas... and even desserts (can you say Tiramisu?). I had fettuccine with zucchini and a melange of mushrooms with a gorgonzola cream sauce...shut the front door! To say that the food is outstanding is an understatement! The plating was gorgeous, the place is beautiful, and everywhere you look there are spiritual quotes, the chakras, and in the bathroom a photo of Yogananda Paramahansa. Just my vibe. And the icing on the cake was that it was Mexican/Italian through and through - no vestiges of an American place. If you're ever in PV, Veggitalia is an absolute must!

Absolutely incredible! It's a wonderful experience overall with delicious food! Vegetarian and vegan Italian food. I don't usually eat outside the culture when visiting other countries but I had heard so many good things about this place I had to try. And it did not disappoint! The service was excellent and the pizza, oh my! Vegan cheese, yes thank you! It is a bit pricey but definitely worth it. The only downside is that I didn't enjoy the tiramisu much and at $5 I was disappointed. It's vegan and made with amaranth, bananas and some other ingredients... But to each is own as many probably love it. All-in-all you have to go by and enjoy the food here! You will love it 🍕🍝

Accepts credit card & cash Gluten-free and vegan options! I've had the pasta and pizza, and I will definitely be back for the pizza & and gluten-free crust. Expect their pasta to be cooked al dente. Dessert suggestion: The regular tiramisu is much better than their vegan tiramisu. I would make a reservation to ensure a table. Don't miss out on their market next door! Yes, they have AC.

Incredible Italian food. Don't even think Vegan. Think: I want the best Italian food I've ever had and you likely will (unless your mom is Italian and a 5-star Chef!). This place is extraordinary because of the ambience, the staff, and an extraordinary generous, kind, and talented owner. He made our dinner ever so memorable and due to the special occasion he even cooked up some surprises that weren't on the menu. What an experience!!!

Excellent place for delicious Italian food. And an added plus is they do gluten free and vegan very well. As someone who requires gluten free, it’s hard to find delicious Italian food, but Veggitalia does and exceptionally well job of gluten free.

Hands down the best gluten free pizza I have ever had. So good, we went here twice. The owner created his own gluten free crust blend that he bakes in a wood fired oven. It’s a simple menu of vegetarian and Italian dishes, with gluten free and vegan options. We ordered the pear and goat cheese salad to split. He delivered it already spilt between two plates, so big we thought it was actually 2 servings. The pizza came out next, Jean Pierrre. There were tons of fresh toppings with plenty of pomadoro sauce. The crust was airy and crispy, something gluten free pizzas always lack. And the pizza was enough to split between two people. It was cooked well, had lots of toppings and cheese and had brought sauce. These are always my buggiest complaints about gluten free pizza, especially because you typically get charged a lot more. His gluten free up charge is only 30 pesos ($1.50). And the water was even amazing. House water infused with ginger. Next day, went back for lunch and got a similar meal. This time we had the Greek salad split and the 5 Terre. Again, perfectly baked and completely satisfied! There’s also a coffee bar, pastas (gf options), and desserts with gf options too! The location is on a side street just off the Malecón. The atmosphere is small and relaxed, open air with fans. No A/C but we were comfortable. They take cash or credit card. If you want pizza in Puerto Vallarta, go here. You will not be disappointed. You can get non gluten free as well as vegan.

A cute, somewhat small place. The pizza was a great size, flavour, and accommodated well for two people. They offered free appetizers and complementary water.

greeted by 2 warm and friendly fellows, cute interior and a great selection of different vegan pastas and pizzas! got the pizza blanco (zucchs/mushrooms/spinach) tasted great - bit pricey but in the end it is worth it for a specialty vegan meal in town 🙌🏽

Such a cute place! I only got a to go order but was lovely while I was in there. The staff and owner were very nice and offered us waters while we were waiting. I don't normally write reviews but I got the best vegan pizza I've had here so it needed a review! Highly recommend.

Hands down one of the best vegetarian/vegan restaurants in PV. I only had a chance to try a couple of things but the food was unbelievably delicious. Its on the list of places to come back and try a variety of food on my next trip. Friendly and welcoming staff. If you are looking for a good plant based meal this is the place!

We enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. Both the service and the food were excellent! Two of us ordered a vegan lasagna and a vegan spaghetti to share, and instead of having us divide the food ourselves, they brought out two beautifully laid-out plates with both lasagna and spaghetti on each plate. What a nice surprise! The desserts were very good, too. Thank you for a wonderful meal. We will definitely be back

This is the greatest vegetarian restaurant in the whole bay! Food is always awesome and the staff is very friendly, they always make you feel like home. You HAVE to try tiramisú here, it'll change your day and life probably.

The place deserves the highest review not only because dishes are very tasty, but also because the quality of the ingredients are very high and your stomach will recognize it immediately 🤤Also, it is heaven in vacation spot like Mexico for people with food sensitivities and health issues. To add more, the staff is so much fun and love! 💗 Highly recommended! ✌🏻

Great food! Excellent service! Just a block off the boardwalk, very nicely decorated inside! if you want a homemade quality meal at affordable prices. Try Veggitalia! Picture is the Manicotti! Tasted as great as it looked!

Great service. I always love it when the owner is personally involved in the diners experience making sure everything is going well.they have great gluten free and vegan options. The pizza we ordered was a little lacking in creativity and flavor the pasta also was also not wowing anyone, but they made up for that in spades with their gluten free desserts and their great service and willing to adapt the dishes for food sensitivities. I highly recommend going there and giving those deserts a try, still kinda dreaming of that mousse and terramissu 🤤

You can see and taste the great attention to detail and love for fine food when presented with your meal at Veggitalia. I wouldn't usually suggest getting pizza in Mexico. However, if you enjoy a light crispy chewy crust, topped with a variety of fresh complimentary flavors, get here. Edit, forgot to mention that the chef is straight from Italy and clearly knows his food!!

Finally made it here after being here for 2 months and just wow! Absolutely amazing Italian food with so many delicious vegetarian and vegan options. we ordered a pizza to share and the crust was delicious with fresh ingredients throughout. I had the spaghetti and my girlfriend had the lasagne for our mains. Both dishes were absolutely packed with flavor and nothing short of phenomenal for us. We briefly met the owner/chef and you can really tell he cares about his food and customers' experiences. Even the table water is herbal and brings a smile to your face with every sip. Don't miss this restaurant if you're looking for an intimate, delicious, cozy, vegetarian/vegan, dining experience while in Puerto Vallarta.

Veggaitalia came very highly recommended to us from some Vegan friends. The first thing we were asked when seated was, "Are you Gluten Free, Vegetarian, or Vegan? Do you have any food allergies?" Our server David was super attentive, friendly, spoke perfect English (Italian & Spanish) The owner is also the head Chef which I always believe adds such great quality to the ambiance. My wife is pregnant so we stopped by to grab every craving possible 🤣😂 Each dish was prepared with precision and love! Extremely high quality. I'm not Vegan or Gluten free, but if I was this would be a weekly spot. Highly recommend checking it out. Didn't snap a pic of the pizza, but that was awesome also.

An amazing place for 💚 vegan or vegetarian pizza, pasta, paninis, salads and more. The local owner and chef is always there and gives a truly amazing experience. Every thing is made fresh to order and is delicious. My favorites are the vegan amici pizza, and the pear and nut salad. The Panini is mouthwatering! Many of the pastas, breads, and cheeses are made in house. Great for those who are plant based or lactose-free. Very reasonable prices too. The ingredients are always very fresh. Everyone Ive ever been with has been beyond impressed. This is a craveable and charming restaurant you wont find anywhere else. PS the mousse is amazing too (and the complimentary flavored water)
