The adventure Las Caletas was a really nice experience, hopefully I can visit again, that is if I exercise more often before visiting again. Only question is that what is the green incense stick you used at the Las Caletas? I really liked the smell and I am curious as to what scent it is. Thanks!

We booked airport pickup & baby turtle tour, they gave clear instructions and very helpful. Airport pickup was a breeze, we were in the van in 5 minutes after meeting the rep outside. Baby turtle tour was so awesome and learned a lot, Kids had so much fun. Very professional, friendly and nice staff.

We had such a fantastic time on board! Great food and drinks. Excellent tour guides. Very knowledgable and fun!! We saw some beautiful whales and followed them around the bay. Really great day! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommended!

We had a great time on our ATV excursion into the Sierra Madres. They had guys clocking traffic at intersections in town so we could safely navigate the streets. The trip, including the lunch and river water was amazing. The tequila tasting was also a great event. Scenery was amazing and it was an added bonus that everyone spoke English with us! Will be back!

Overall a good agency to book with I feel, but be sure to book a few days in advance. I Removed two stars because I booked an ATV tour on January 8th (with a 50% deposit) for January 10th. On January 9th they contacted me saying the tour I booked was actually full and asked me if I wanted to select a different ATV tour for January 10th. I did this, however two hours before the tour was supposed to start on the 10th they still hadn’t confirmed that I had a spot and I was frantically attempting to call, email and use their online chat to get ahold of someone. I finally got ahold of someone and only then did they send me my ticket. It was a bit stressful and wasted some precious time on my trip, but the tour ended up being very fun Edit: Company reached out after this review was posted to apologize for the stress caused/offer a discount on a future tour, though not sure if I’d choose to use it after this experience

We booked a private driver and he was AMAZING!!!!!His name is Eric, if you book a private driver I highly recommend you request him. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very accommodating with what we wanted to do and see! He gave many suggestions and personally escorted us when we asked. I can not say enough great things about him and the experience he gave us!!!! We will definitely book this again as long as we can have Eric for our driver!!!! The customer service I received when booking this was beyond expectations! I highly recommend using this company for your adventures!!!!

Wonderful service and care from our Captain. He was so patient, knowledgeable, and so kind. We appreciated him taking us closer along the coastline en route to the snorkeling area so we can appreciate the diverse sights through the city. We really appreciated him taking us to the private beach where we could have excellent quality family time and it was nice it wasn't so commercialized.

We had an amazing experience snorkeling with our guide Carlos and our captain Alex. Carlos was professional, funny, and very knowledgeable about the area. They even made sure to stop and pick up trash from the water! We had a blast and will come back to use Puerta Vallarta Tours again!

Booked a private boat tour with this company on 24th Nov 23 and wanted to go to the yelapa waterfalls two bays and snorkelling . They said no problem so we booked for 6 hours. They told us the original boat was not available and we agreed to change as he said it was bigger and better also the captain would take us fishing and anything we caught he would cook. We was told that boat was too big to get to the Shaw so would need a water taxi ( would only cost a couple of pound ). Well on the day we saw a boat that really was not meant for the sea ( more like the re cycle centre ). The water taxi to it was £15. The boat had definitively seen better days. Much better days. Would have been nice 100 years ago when it was built. The captain was nice and his helper but said we could not go where we wanted as it’s too far. He would take us somewhere else really nice ( it was a beach ) and guess what two more water taxis ). Could not cook the fish no snorkels and it was just a route they always take. Go back to the harbour and captain was not happy with the £50 tip. The water taxi wanted £30 to take us back(not even one minute journey ) . If the tour was sold as what it was we would be happy. But tour company would say anything to take your money. Just all be careful when booking anything. ( yes we even got boat pics 🤪) and it looked sooooo different

So, half way through the zip line tour I became ill, I think with the heat, it was about 32 degrees C and I think 95% humidity, anyways I could not catch my breath, felt nauseous and dizzy and generally could not go on. The tour guides were amazing, the cooled me down very effectively and got me down to the lodge in double time. They provided lots of bagged ice and water to cool me. I can not thank them enough, I can not remember their names but I send a really big thank you to the team. Other than that hiccup the ATV and zip lining were amazing and I would definitely recommend it.

This was an awesome tour. From the moment I got off the cruise ship and met up with the tour leader they were professional but even better they were FUN! Happy & so easy to deal with. Made the entire trip very comfortable by always having great fun music & something to keep us entertained. The snorkeling was great & guided perfectly. The beach stop was very nice & also very well attentive by the staff. I would HIGHLY recommend to purchase this tour - especially off a cruise ship as it was much better than the excursion the cruise ship could have offered and more reasonable.

We had no clue what to expect making the reservations on their website and not knowing the area. But once we got there they quickly checked us in and got us ready to do the Jungle Buggies tour. It was so fun seeing the sites of the town, the oceanside, and jungle area. The Water oasis they took us to was fun with good food. And we finished the drive at the beach. Our tour guide Alex and Limon were awesome. Great to do with a big family or group. By far one of our favorite days on the trip.

We enjoyed our tour! The tour guide was over the top awesome! He took us where we wanted and helped my son throw out the fishing line and caught our lunch! The Mackerel was delicious! The restaurant grilled the fish with lemon, garlic, and butter.....cooked to perfection! What I didn't appreciate is being told over the phone that we were going to be taken to several different beaches. We were taken to ONE BEACH! I paid $430 because we were going to multiple beaches. I was told we would be taken to a place to hike to a waterfall, but there was no waterfall. It was all dried up! The communication with the person who was emailing me about who to meet and where to meet was extremely difficult! She drew us a map and emailed it to me. The instructions and directions were incorrect! We were told someone would have a sign with my name on it for who was picking us up. That never existed. I would have never paid twice the price for something we never got to do. Ultimately, we were lied to. There is alack of integrity with this company.

We had the best time on our tour! The tour guides were knowledgable and fun. We even got to get super close to whales and dolphins. Unforgettable.

Please use this company. Their customer service went above and beyond. I unfortunately left my prescription sunglasses at the venue. They did everything in their power to get them back to me. Great service! Great food! For reference, we did the horseback ATV zip line tour.

I booked a private scuba tour just two days in advance, but got an email confirmation right away and our boat driver, David, showed up as planned and was very friendly and helpful. This was a great option for a short outing with a small group of people. Super fun!

It was very easy to book our tour and got a very reasonable rate. The pick up was very easy too. The staff from our driver to the guides were friendly and fun! The actual zip lines are not too exciting compared to California. They are short and not very high but still made for a really fun day. I recommend swimming in the waterfalls after the tour. The water was refreshing and made for great pics. Here is one other recommendation: when you arrive they will tell you to leave your phones in the lockers, but if you bring a fanny pack you can hold your phone no problem. The guides didn’t care at all. I took video and pics of all my family zip lining. I even took video for some fun people we met. The photos they take are very expensive. I would book another tour through this company for sure!

I'm going to separate my review into the different activities we booked. Los Arcos Snorkeling: Do it. Book it and do it. Carlos was in charge of our 3 person group. I cannot overstate how great it was being out there with Carlos. You cannot hope for a more wonderfully smart, funny, thoughtful and considerate person to hang out with. It was a sincere and distinct pleasure getting to know him and spend time with him in his natural element. When a giant boat playing loud music carrying a hundred people spoiled the spot, he deftly packed us up and took us to one of his personal favorite spots that the BIG groups don't visit. Our day with him and the crew was incredible. He suggested a seafood spot for us after we got back to the marina, and I wish I could have thanked him again after we ate there. Carlos, if you read this, thank you from Ashley, Klint, and Sarah. I hope we get to swim with you again someday! Horseback Riding: This one was a let down. A lot of rain the previous day made crossing the first river too dangerous, so instead of riding through the jungle mountains to waterfalls and swimming; we took a much shorter ride through the small town, down a dirt road, and back. Had an -okay- meal for lunch at their spot and sat through a sales pitch for local tequila. I would have much preferred to just have the whole thing cancelled or rescheduled, since the drive out to the place was almost 2 hours, and I doubt we were on the horses longer than 1.5 hours. PRIVATE TOUR JUNGLE MOUNTAINS ATV ADVENTURE: Do it. Book it and do it. This is tied for first place for me. We started in the middle of town, cruised aaaaalll the way out and up into the mountains, crossed the river several times, and hit the half way point up at a bar/restaurant that has very cool natural swim areas to cool off. Our guide was fantastic and fun, she brought her tiny dog in her backpack for the ride. She knew the area in and out, guided us through streets and trails with equal skill. I never felt like we were taking big risks or being overly cautious. The whole ride felt like the sweet spot of having lots of fun without being in any real danger. We spent the previous several days walking around or taking taxis, and I didn't feel like I -knew- anything about Puerto Vallarta until we took this ride. Highly suggest it.

Took the Trimaran - When making the reservation the staff was great, although I had to deal with 3 or 4 people before we got everything set up. The tour had some great things - but unfortunately it was not exactly what we paid for. Although the staff on the boat was SUPER nice, they were 20 min late to pick us up and the boat was not totally like the picture. It needs some maintenance. The 2nd bathroom does not have a toilet seat - there was only 2 small areas to get sun and lay out (not great for 20 women) and the WORST - the music stopped working!! That put a damper on the whole trip :( Also - we booked 6 hours - DON'T BOOK 6 HOURS! The captain should have panned better as we saw whales but then he said we needed to move on. The snorkling place he took us SUCKED - 2 fish?? And then they headed back??? We were close to where we started when I said "we have 2 more hours" - his answer..."Yeah, 6 hours is too long, 4 is much better" NOT GOOD. We literally sat in the harbour for 30 min going nowhere - Pretty disappointing.

Our driver was so freaking sweet. He even offered to make an additional stop at a pharmacy or store if we needed anything before we got to our resort. He was so friendly. Great first encounter being in Puerto Vallarta.

It was great value! The group was small so it felt personalized. All of the guides were awesome, we had Eli, Oswaldo, and Eric, (and the captain Alejandro). They took us to the main snorkeling spots before the big groups arrived so it wasn’t crowded, and spent just the right amount of time at each. They were friendly and had a good energy- I would definitely recommend this to others.

PV Tours has surpassed my expectations. From the start of the inquiry email to the end of the physical tour, their services have been exceptional. I was interested in booking a private cruise tour for a wedding group and contacted the company. Even on the email, I could sense the sweetness and professionalism of the associates. They were extremely informative and patient with me as I continuously asked questions and made changes. Our email chain probably has more than 30 emails! On the day of the tour I had to add two more passengers and they were happy to accommodate. As we arrived on the boat the crew members were welcoming and attentive. Unfortunately, the water was not in our favor and some of our guests needed to get off the boat halfway. The crew members quickly readjusted our course and set up a small boat to pick up the guests to get to a nearby pier. Everyone was very appreciative and complimented on the services all night. We got lucky and spotted two whales. It was an amazing evening. I would definitely recommend this tour company!

It was helpful to know about the purple polo shirts to identify your representatives in the sea of all the arrivals. I would have liked to have been offered a water bottle. Easy though to book and excellent communications for our reservation. Will likely use again next year for our annual trip. Van to hotel was nice and air conditioned and driver helpful.

The tour we took was the 4 hour private snorkel to Los Arcos. Our guide, Raoul was fantastic! When we got to our set destination, my son was scared to snorkel and very seasick when the boat was floating in the waves so we were able to quickly adjust our tour and Raoul took us on a cruise where we saw many dolphins swimming and playing right beside our boat as well as whales playing in the bay with their babies. He was very knowledgeable and respectful of the wildlife's space and safety. there was another young man accompanying Raoul on the boat, he was very pleasant and made sure our drinks and snacks (we brought with us) were always topped up! Everyone had a great time, we would definitely do this the next time we are in PV. We did have a 6 month old on the trip and he was very sick one night so I simply used the live chat that is on their website and they were able to change our date on the excursion, we appreciate that very much!

Very professional and their prices are better than going straight to the tour company. They were a little delayed with giving us the tickets for the pirate excursion but it happened after follow up no biggie.

Puerto Vallarta Tours was a great company. My partner and I only went for a few days to celebrate his 50th Birthday and we didn’t have a lot of time to play with. They were very responsive and professional. We booked the Mariatas island snorkelling tour and it was absolutely amazing and Eric was the best tour guide. Highly recommend

This tour wasn't. We didn't end up going on it. We spent a lot of time trying to find where we were supposed to meet. My phone wouldn't open the directions. I found phone numbers which didn't give the area code which was necessary. It was very frustrating especially since I had been told that someone would meet us. (I don't know how that would have happened, so maybe I misunderstood.) I left a message on Facebook, tried calling every number I could find on the website/email message without success. Someone from the company finally called me. At first they weren't going to refund my money which was disappointing, but after reviewing the information, all of the tour price was refunded. If I'd been a little smarter, I would have brought the written instructions with me. One other thing, we didn't know the name of the tour company we were going with. That would have helped. We had a tour through Johann and Sandra's company the next day in Mazatlan which we enjoyed. They sent directions in an email that I could open. So I was very unhappy about not being able to go on the tour, but I was happy that they refunded our money and made sure we could find the Mazatlan tour.

Excellent customer service and accommodations. Great communication with staff and friendly. Helped me with all the tours and airport transfer I booked. Will use them again and again in the future. Thank you!

The Rhythm of the Night was good and I would recommend it overall. The food and dinner service was also good. The private beach/cove is beautiful. The show itself could have been longer and it was difficult to follow the storyline/plot if there was one. My favorite part of the tour was our crew on the boat. They were entertaining. The boat ride to and from Rhythm of the Night is long, but I assume the boat travels slow for safety reasons.

We did the Las Animas Adventure Park and Beach Break with Arturo as our guide. Our three teenagers loved the adventure park. We were the only family on the excursion and at the park and felt like VIPs! Arturo was great and very encouraging. The reservation staff were awesome at adjusting a last minute request for a change in time. It was a bit of a walk from the cruise ship to meet Arturo. I would have wished for a closer meeting spot (maybe closer to the casino). Our transportation was 2 separate cars instead of a van/bus. This is fine but one of the cars did not have air conditioning and it is a long 45 minute drive to meet the water taxi. After the 10 minute walk in the heat, there was no relief in a cool car for two of us. If you do this tour, bring lots of water to drink, bring cash in low denominations to tip the various people that help you (taxi drivers, water taxi driver, zip line park staff, and tour guide). We ran out of cash and would have liked to tip Arturo more. We also enjoyed our lunch at a beach side restaurant (part of it is included but we bought our drinks). The food was very good. I wouldn't hesitate to book with PV Tours again and would love to explore more of Puerto Vallarta, it's beautiful!

It was a beautiful day whale watching -- Alex and Tommy were wonderful guides and worked hard to get us to where we could see whales. And then when we found them, they clearly had so much love for the animals. They made sure my children had an up close experience with the whales. Alex had a lot of knowledge she shared. It was a fantastic morning on the water.

👍👍 We had a great time on a Whale Photo Safari tour with our guide Pablo! Although the boat was an hour late - it actually brought us later to a whale who was breaching for quite some time.
