I’ve been wanting to come to this restaurant for so long. We were all nostalgic reminiscing our days living in Taiwan. The staff is very friendly, of course as you would expect Taiwanese people to be. The service is not slow, nor fast. It’s ok. They didn’t have dumplings but they did have the fried potstickers 🥟. They were tasty, I liked the chicken ones more. When it comes to the soup, the size is good. Abundance in noodles, great great noodles I must say. I didn’t love the meat, I know the cut must have fat but mine was mainly fat so I left almost all of it. The bathrooms are very clean, wow I really appreciated that.

First the positives: I ordered their classic signature beef noodles. The broth was flavorful and the beef was very tender. There was no music playing in the background. For me it's a plus because I preferred to eat in peace and quiet. Negatives: the waiting time was just too long (both for order and the food). It took over 30 minutes on a not very busy early evening. The seating was also far from comfortable. The dining table doesn't allow one's legs to extend forward. The wooden seat was also too hard. As for the food, the noodles were too soft for my taste. Based on the negatives I don't think I would eat there again, but might consider takeaway if they can improve the textures of the noodles.

Always wanted to try this place! Super friendly service. They have a small outdoor seatings. They have a good selection of traditional Taiwanese food. I got the noodle soup with tomato and beef base. The noodles were cooked a little too long but the taste was still good. Would come back for the other dishes.

Addressed my homesickness! Super authentic food and thoughtful service. They even helped to exclude all coriander for me Lol. Definitely worth your try!

Authentic taiwanese noodle soups and cutlets with rice and well made side dishes. I enjoyed the food very much. The staff is friendly, ordering is simple and straight forward. It is also not very expensive. Definitely gonna go there again.

Great Taiwanese beef noodle. For those who want something different from Japanese ramen or Chinese noodle. The noodle tasted similar to what I had in Taipei. The belly pork dish was amazing as well as gyoza( pork dumplings). Staff was really friendly. The space was clean and spacious. Not busy and not noisy, that's what I like. ONE problem for me was the food was a bit slow.

good soothing food. yet quite underwhelming given Düsseldorf's Asian food standard. staff doesn't actually sound Taiwanese...and card payment wasn't working

We were there on a busy day with three adults and two small children and had to wait - fine. But the waiter let other customers who came later get the table before us, twice. First time it was a table to share with others, second time it was a table with three chairs. We were so mad, because the children were hungry and we waited like half an hour. The waiter should have asked us at least whether the children can sit on lap of us or so - but just let us wait was unacceptable.

Nice restaurant with functional interior. Beef noodle soup was good, bao burger with beef ok or even a bit boring. Beef shank something different and kinda tasty. Friendly and efficient service. Prices ok. Mostly bottled or canned drinks. No credit cards.

Authentic Taiwanese food and atmosphere (as far as I can judge). One of the rare Taiwanese restaurants in the area. Food was delicious, various options of side dishes, Taiwanese beer available. Unfortunately, they ran out of dumplings the time I was there, so I'll have to stop by once again. I like the chairs, big tables and bamboo baskets on the walls as well as laundry baskets available for you to store your belongings while dining.

The lady in the front is very friendly and the atmosphere is so cozy and nice, there is boxes to put your bag and jacket and the entire atmosphere is amazing Although be aware they are not joking when they say its spicy, take max level 1 spice if you cant handle it

Authentic Taiwanese food shop. Ordering food and service is pretty much like how things go down on the real Formosa. We just wanted to grab a bite so opted for the fried chicken and some gua bao. Delicious and authentic taste! You can also find Taiwan Beer here, which can be hard to find abroad. Like a pils but a bit sweeter because of the mixed use of barley and rice. Highly recommend this place! Note: you might want to bring cash. credit cards and certain debit cards won't be accepted.

FOOD & DRINKS I had to try the famous Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. The broth had a good beef flavor, the meat was very tender and the noodles still had a nice chew and bite. SERVICE If I had to give it one description, it would be friendly. ATMOSPHERE It’s clean and simple but actually nicer than I expected. RATING Overall I had a good experience. It’s nothing fancy. Very down to earth but still worth a visit.

Taiwanese food: fried chicken with rice. The overall portion is large and the cp value is high. The fried chicken is huge, it is very authentic Taiwanese taste, delicious and juicy. The rice is topped with braised pork and accompanied by green vegetables. Highly recommend a visit here!

I live a minute away fro this place but for a reason i didnt try it until today. It was awesome we ordered beef soup with dumpling fried chicken bites and Taiwanese burger, all of them were really special full of taste and aroma. We will definitely visit again.

Good, authentic Taiwanese food. Very affordable with lots of options to chose from. Only complaint that the wood seating isnt that comfy, plus staff was a bit cold.

The scallion and ginger chicken was recommended by the waitress. She claimed it’s fresh and tasty. We didn’t even eat 1/3 of it. It was so bad that I never had frozen chicken without any taste. Beef noodle was still pretty good. Don’t listen to the waitress, her recommendation is not trustworthy even though she is a nice person.

😠 I’ve been visiting this Okinii since 2020, and each time the experience is getting worse. Something is always changing but in a negative way: a price increase, or no more tablets to order, or too long waiting time for ordered food… The food is ok. But this time we’ve been waiting for majority of di...

👍 The place is quite lively and crowded. The ordering process is simple and the waiting time is acceptable (around 15 minutes). The food is fine, not exceptional though.
