I had my first poetry night in Nairobi at K1 Club House. My friend and I loved the wholesome experience. We ordered food and drinks that arrived in a couple of minutes. The staff were really helpful. After the poetry show, we made toured around and I must say it’s a beautiful place. The food and drinks is amazing.

I went to K1 on a Saturday evening with some friends. The first thing I noticed is the set up of the place with the umbrellas decorations I really loved that, the pallet designs bringing that art feeling. The place had a not too many people which is great considering the covid situation. You also had to pay an entrance fee of 1000 kenyan shillings which is redeemable inside when u order a drink or food. Apart from that the music was good. The food was great also. I had a very good time over there.

Timeless joint that has pulsated Nairobi through the years. Themed nights in terms of music and the vibe make it a go-to place any day of the week. Amazing and eclectic décor and design vibes also makes it a place one wants to hangout any day. This along with various options for where to stay or get a drink on the property. They have accommodation, but I have never tried. Their food menu used to be amazing with the best goat I had, now they only offer pork and very limited options. That sucks The only place where I have tried mulled wine in Nairobi, which I found fascinating. Cocktails here are not the bestest for sure, but I go for the other perks!

I have to start with this: BEST YAMACHOMA IN NAIROBI. I have had a lot of yamachomas in Nairobi but none is as good as this. It was well made, well seasoned. The season was not like patches here and there but it was everywhere deep into the meat. Tasted really good. The atmosphere is nice, i love what they did with the umbrellas on the roof, I haven't seen umbrellas used like that, It's really artistic. Great atmosphere, amazing and professional staff, good drinks and great food, perfect combination.

I love how they have reinvented themselves given the Covod restrictions. The place is clean, with great food,a wide range of activities that fit many dynamics. Perfect hideout for a quiet workday too.

I loved the place but mostly the brunch. Food was amazing, great team of chefs. However the waiters need more training, they were slow.

Great place to watch Formula 1 races

Rumor has it that K1 offers a good Sunday brunch. Popped in this morning; I was in.the mood for pancakes after my morning run. Had the three course brunch. Pancakes, followed by ribs and potatoes, and what was supposed to be a brownie for dessert. And 1/2 liter of Sangria. 2000 shillings. $20. 1st course...3 stack of pancakes, served with fruit, chocolate sauce and maple syrup. Delicious but the 'cakes were a little cold. I ate anyway. The extremely cute waitress told me, next time ask and she'll get them warmed for me. 2nd course...ribs and potatoes. No complaints. A much larger serving than expected. 4 ribs. 3 were pretty meaty. One, not so much. 3rd course...It was billed as a brownie but I looked more like a very large cookie or very hard piece of marble cake. The strawberry ice cream on top saved this. Churros or creme brulee are the other options. I'll go fo the churros next time. The place wasn't busy and the service was impeccable. Or maybe I developed a slight crush on the waitress. I wish I had time to hang out to see whether the Sunday flea market picked up. That area was kinda quiet but some very nice offerings if you like African apparel. I do, but I wasn't up for bargaining today. From what I've been told K1 as a club/entertainment venue is well past its prime. It's a huge spot with lots of bars within the complex. The Sunday brunch and the reggae night attract the most. Seems to be a decent place to watch sports...lots of tvs. The brunch...the meal 6.5 out of 10 The service a perfect 10. I'll go back to try the rest of the menu.

The best place to be when you visit Nairobi. Every time I visit Kenya, I pass by K1 to have a car wash as I enjoy the music. Thursdays are my favorite as krisdarling does his thing, very nice reggae

When in Nairobi , you have to experience the beauty and life of K1 , from the architectural structure to the designs of the spaces, the decorations are aesthetically pleasing and sitting is beautifully arranged. They have a wide array of food vendors/kiosks/restaurants, serving local and continental dishes, from soft bites to main meals. Drinks aren’t limited as well, from spirits , Rum , cocktails , mocktails , ciders , beers etc. And then on Sunday’s the live band takes you out of this world! It’s such a beautiful experience and one anyone shouldn’t miss out on. Love it here so much! Can’t wait to be back.

Happened to be there and it was K1’s 21st anniversary today (15.12.2019). I have seen K1 from its first year and was glad to be there to celebrate 21 years. I have seen all the transition of this place. My best ever was when Pitchers & Butchers was the real over 25 place. It was all one wanted and more. A mature crowd, good service and music. The second best is the flea market though it’s now more seating tables than market. The live bands on Thursdays were another great experience. We had great food years too. All am saying, I have seen the best of this place. Good memories and although some areas of their service are not that great, overall K1 has worked hard to give its clients a good deal. They are just not perfect. Like every other place. Happy 21st anniversary.

This is not your average kind of night club, it is quite big and has different areas. It hosts different themes every day, like on Thursday is usually reggae night and on Sunday afternoons there’s usually a flea market. They have a couple of pool tables and also Table football. The waiters and security guards are also quite friendly and professional. Parking gets full fast so reach early so that you’re able to pack your car inside.

This is a place you would love for great and thrilling Nairobi night life.The decor and interior design is satisfying. The exterior environment is good for those captivating Instagram photos and videos. All types of drinks are sold at affordable prices. We have restaurants with different delicacies most importantly burgers, fries,hot dogs etc.For weekends the place is filled with friends enjoying live music bands and euphoric dance from the hottest street DJs.Not forgetting the umbrella roofing that makes the place resemble the architectural style of Thailand streets. I recommend this place.

It's a good chill spot with good music.....it's very spacious with good food and drinks. I went at night so I was able to see the live band and they we're really good. The DJs play amazing music and even take requests.

Its a beautiful place, but they charged us double the price twice! And after getting most of the money back the waitress asked us to give her back the tips! Very bad behaviour! Cant recommend the place after they tried to rip us off so bad, very disappointed. Still charged us kinds of food which was more expensive than the one we ordered. Ah yeah and the cocktail was more expensive because of one leave in the glass?? This place can do better

It's a good entertainment space: They have a great reggae night on Thursdays and craft market on Sundays, with it being the only place you can really hope to have a night out on Sunday, as well. The kitchen serves a decent selection of pretty good food. They also have a large pool hall with foosball and ping pong tables upstairs, and a few screens scattered about for the sports fan. Good place to enjoy a Sunday afternoon game, music and beer, or a weekend night out.

Was out there supporting my friend's business. The environment is well-cared for and the staff are decent. A major turn-down was their food not being that pleasing beyond the presentation. I would go back for a game of pool with friends, moderate entertainment and Sunday evening chill out meetings with business partners.

Okay if you want to spend a bit on a night out. Renovated Pitch and Butch bar looks really nice. Odd that they don't sell spirits by the shot anymore with the exception of Jagermeister and Tequila. You have to get a ridiculously over priced bottle, cocktails or settle for beers at 325.

K1 Where do I Start, Totally Surprised me. Blew my expectations. Clean, spacious and The Security. So, Manu good clubs in Nairobi but K1 stands out from the pack..because of The Security. Respect. So pretty 😊. It was my first time back here after like 5yrs. And alot has changed for the better. Great ambiance. Great music. I love that they have different sections playing different music genres. We had great service as well and the food was great. Will definitely be visiting them again.

Quite cool reggae night on thursday. Open air so you do not feel clostrophobic. The people are so cool too. Not so many vegan food options though, needs improvement. Payment system could be improved as well that i had difficulty to receive changes.

Booked this venue for a post wedding party and the World Cup final. We ordered a meal at 5:30 before kick off. People that ordered after us received their food. Around 7:30 pm we ordered again because we did not receive our first order. We spoke to management twice who assured us that our order would be with us shortly. It is now 11pm and we still have not received a single order. The customer service here is terrible. Instead of the the staff to offer alternatives for their shortcomings, they think it’s best to argue with their customers. This is my first and last time in this venue because I cannot believe the subpar level of customer service I have received here today. The entire company ought to be ashamed of themselves. If I could give 0 stars I honestly would. I am writing this review so that others will hopefully take heed and avoid this establishment.

It's a perfect place for a night out with your boyfriend/girlfriend. The ambience is good, the place looks amazing. However, if you're looking to have a fun night with lots of dancing, this is more on the chill side.

Very nice Reggae Club with locals and tourist. Good DJ and MC, food is served at tables and couches, quality of food and drinks is good, fair prices. I like the possibility to get a room for the night directly there. Standards like in European clubs, nice atmosphere and people. I can recommend it.

The location is nice. No discussion about that. However the customer service we experienced was horrible. It was quite full, but still... this was just bad. We ordered 2 drinks (beer and soda) and waited for one hour! The drinks were warm. We asked for cold ones, they did not have. Fair enough. We were offered ice cubes, we agreed, they never arrived at our table. We ordered food. Two beef burgers. We got a chicken burger and a veggie burger. They and the fries were cold. We asked for two hot beef burgers with hot fries. One was good, the other was cold, the fries as well. We asked for another one. The fries were warm, the burger cold. The taste was not great but okay. Noting more to say about this customer service... We ordered more drinks, it took another 45 minutes... Just bad!

Went in for Sunday brunch which starts from 10am -4pm We got in at 11 am . The service is regrettably slow (we were the only people there and it took about 1.5hrs to get our food) but the food is really nice, for brunch you get a starter, main course,dessert and a drink of choice for 1800/=

For a first timer in Kenya and Nairobi, K1 Klub is the reason i intend to comeback! The ambiance is great and the food tastes amazing! I would suggest the dj plays more afrobeat, aside that i found everything else to be of good standard!

*Experience from a foreigner* Went on a Thursday night with a friend of mine. Great vibe, great crowd, great music. Absolutely loved my time here although what happened at the end really really made me angry. We ordered a bottle of vodka, numerous drinks and sheesha. After we paid the bill (I would have appreciated if the server brought us the bill rather than telling us the amount verbally), my friend, unbeknownst to me at the time, gave them 700 KES tips to be shared amongst the bartender and the hookah server. The hookah server asked me to give him tips separately so I gave him 200 KES since he did a pretty good job so why not But when my friend was leaving this club to go to her Uber, the hookah server followed her and had the audacity to demand more tips from here. She already gave tips to the bartender to be shared amongst her and the hookah server. I gave the hookah server more tips. This level of entitlement and invasion is just greatly unacceptable and this behavior only discourages us foreigners from going out as we have to worry about our safety and being treated like a walking ATM constantly. It gets irritating.

I used to come here all the time ‘back in the day’ and last l visited a few years back. I came on a Friday and left by 8 pm. It was utterly dead. Not the vibrant place of old. The inside of the old Klub House is tired and dated. Really run down actually and so disappointing. The outdoor space is nice and the beer is reasonably priced (375/- for a Tusker). It’s supposed to be good late on Thursday and on Sundays- so visit then.

It’s a cool place to hangout on the weekends. Lots of games to place and would be an ideal place to go hang out with friends. The only problem there’s limited parking space, occasionally you need to park on the street.

Great ambience, you can enjoy with friends. Not crowded. For an enjoyable time, please have not less than 5k in your pockets 😅 you and your friends each. You'll have a great time
