The people at this establishment are extremely rude and disrespectful. When i went to order we were talking amongst ourselves about how over priced thing where and the owner literally went into a rant about how we pay thousands of dollar to go on these cruise therefore we should be okay with whatever price they want to set and we should pay for it.

Customers BEWARE. I personally witnessed the only bartender bully a respectful little girl who was by herself. The girl ordered a banana smoothie and tried paying with american express. After making the drink, the owner aggressively lashed out about not accepting her card. Keep in mind that they had no signs informing customers of acceptable payment methods. He got in her face and yelled at her saying, “what are you going to do about it?” while she politely stated she would go back to her parents to figure it out, but he would allow her to, making her feel obligated to figure out his own issue. Then he yelled at me commanding me to pay for another customers drink to which I called him out for not having any signs about payment methods. I ended up walking away telling him he lost seemingly his only customers (including me). He displayed utterly unacceptable behavior towards an extremely young kid who turned out to be more mature than the employees of this establishment. I highly discourage giving them any form of business. There are plenty of bars down the beach which I walked to and did not abuse their customers.

Disgusting, rude and disrespectful! My sisters and i went for a drink there. The man working behind the bar was very rude yelling at me to order and pay with the old lady at the cashier and to show him my receipt. I didnt get my receipt and was yelled at again by the guy behind the bar to come at the other end of the bar. I didnt get the receipt and i told the guy that he can talk to me properly without yelling. He said he disagreed and the old lady banged on the plastic partition to signal me with her hands for me to stop talking. I got out of this place asap. This place is the worst place ever!

I do not recommend! The guy taking orders is a scammer and a boor. Semi-literate who can't count and tries to blame the client. Never again.

The dude who makes the drinks is the owner and a con artist. He talks in circles and word salad to confuse the order in order to pad the bill with nonsense like 1. Adding alcohol when you didn’t want it. 2. Adding side orders of ketchup for $1 despite not requesting it. 3. Actually adding an extra drink and insisting that you ordered it. 4. Takes advantage of women by attempting to bully you. 5. Charging you for the bathroom after the fact even though you spent money on food and drink and the sign declaring that the bathroom is for customers. 6. He clearly gets dressed in the dark. 7. He has bad luck when he thinks. These are all egregious violations of basic customer service. In all seriousness; this place is a dump and is a tourist trap. Do not go here. The wife needs to perhaps get a bigger ring or a new husband bc she’s mad that someone is using her WiFi and walking across her lawn. She just painted it. The worst customer service I’ve ever encountered in Aruba. My wife handed over her cash and giggled at how ridiculously run this place is. If you want comedy, go here and attempt to order something straightforward. The owner will turn your order into an algebraic equation which he cannot solve. Go elsewhere.

This place desperately needs someone with good customer service experience. The current staff/owners are too busy laying all kinds of silly rules for their establishment. They'll give you a hard time for simply trying to use their restroom.

Absolutely, horrible! Drinks are watered down, food is horrible. You must pay to use the restroom or buy an over priced drink. Don't waste your time or money.

Absolutely awful. Avoid at all costs. Bathroom costs money or you have to buy a ticket to use. If I could rate it in negative numbers I would.

I don't leave reviews very often, but this place definitely needs one. I feel bad for the guy that works here, not sure what kind of trauma he has been through to be yelling at everyone in this restaurant. Maybe he should go drink a piña colada on the beach. It is my first time in Aruba and unfortunately this left me a bad impression of this island. The prices are really high for what you get, definty not coming back to this place. FYI- Many angry customers; tourist trap

worst place ever! I was nearby doing some jet ski, wanted to enjoy of a refreshing beverage and also use the bathroom. I go towards their window to place my order and was ignored for 10 min after asking questions. I assumed she did not understand Spanish so I ask the same question in English and was still ignored. my sister had to come and ask this lady what’s going on for her to say “you have to wait”. long story short service was the worst experience so far in the happy Island. don’t recommend

Old lady very rude and nasty. No one comes to vacation to be disrespected. Exactly why the establishment is empty. Don’t come here. Spend your money with nicer kinder people. There are plenty of them on the island.

There are “Karen’s” in other countries!!! BUT don’t let the sourpuss, rude, disrespectful woman who works there discourage you from getting a drink and bite to eat here! The man owner was very pleasant and makes a mean drink.

Skip out on this place. Walk a bit further to coco loco. We ordered a virgin mango mojito for $10. He gave us a cup of mango purée syrup. I went back and asked him to add water, lime, and mint. He started yelling at my wife because she told him that what she got wasn’t a mojito. He basically told us to get out because he didn’t like that we were teaching him how to make a mojito. Lol. Waste of money and horrible experience.

The Blue Beach Bar and Terrace has to be the worst place to eat or drink in the Caribbean. As stated in other reviews, the owners/operators are incredibly rude and obnoxious. I'm sure they missed the hospitality class during their training. NEVER going back there again!

DO NOT come here. The service here is horrible. I tried to order 2 piña coladas with a 100dollar bill. The woman simply told me that she had no change and ignored me after telling me that. I would have orderd something more but simply just walked away since she was so rude.. Its not worth it. Go to the Coco Loco beach bar instead!!! There they treat you like royalti!! 👍

The bartender is a lovely, happy man-always smiling and ready to be as friendly as you will allow. It’s a busy place, but our service was always prompt and friendly. Awesome piña coladas! They do require a food or alcohol purchase to use their bathroom and wifi. Totally understandable when you take into account the number of people on the beach! They offer their bathroom use for $1 if you don’t want to eat/drink there. The money pays someone’s salary and she keeps the bathroom really clean!!

Just keep on driving by. $22 basic fish sandwiches are overpriced and below average. They even try to charge you a dollar for ketchup. Much nice restaurants nearby for the same price. Also says it’s closed here when it’s open on Monday, and Sunday it was entirely closed.

I enjoyed my meal here. The older woman is a bit grouchy, but the younger lady is nice and welcoming. My real only complaint is that they over charge because of their location. The food is pretty good, and what's not to like about eating delicious food and looking out at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world? I'd recommend this place, but I do wish they'd lower their prices by $5 per dish.

The food here wasn’t great I don’t know why they didn’t tell me that they put barbecue sauce on fish. I thought it was something traditional from there but it was just not good for me. I would avoid this place if you want to eat something tasty. In my opinion it wasn’t but the beach was nice and so was the view

Just don't. We decided to try it instead of going back over to the hotel for lunch. A burger with fries - $20 and a happy meal burger is more substantial. Chicken tenders and fries -$22 and they come out of the frozen section at the grocery store - literally flat nuggets. Guy is rude to top it all off. I know the island food is expensive... But at least it's usually good and not frozen. This place can only still be in business because they are making $1 per trip to their restrooms!

Chicken wings/fries were good. Service and attitude terrible. No simile, no hello.Food was ready and made me wait 5 minutes while it sat in front of me. Tried to get his attention numerous times to ask can I get my food and just ignored me. When he finally gave me my food , told him you made me wait 5minutes…not even a sorry. He is in business because there is no one else or you would be out of business.

Top quality in every way! The owner is serious about his craft so I can see why some can take it offensively. Perfect, not sure why they are not opened every day! I think they are only open Saturday but it maybe open Sunday. Get the grouper, yummy : )

I didnt eat from here. But I witnessed the rudness of these people. You have to buy something to use the bathroom and wifi. Then the wifi was supposedly out.🙄 Give me a break. Rude rude rude avoid this place at all costs. I will not be going back there again.

Great little beach restaurant with terrific fresh food and comfortable atmosphere.
