Cafe Coffee shop

👍👍 Such a great place! The coffee is very good, the doughnuts are mind-blowing and the staff is so friendly! It became my favourite place in the neighbourhood and I keep coming back. Now with seating available it's even better! My personal recommendation: try the Japanese cheesecake. People often mention coffee, friendly, staff, great, Croydon, delicious, team, shop, cafe, amazing,

Very important to support local independent businesses at this time Wide selection of teas and even had rooibos so I was happy. In addition had coconut 🥥 milk for a cappuccino. Excellent service from staff.

Top tier coffee, the best flat white you can find in Croydon. Amazing selection of pastries, the red velvet croissant and Japanese cheesecake are just too good! And they are a super friendly and amazing team, it's always a pleasure to go there!

My new favourite coffee place in Croydon. The coffee was smooth and they have the best bakery goods; so far I’ve tried the matcha croissant and red velvet croissant. Both very nice. They’re currently only doing take away because of COVID but have an NHS discount as well as helping local kids with free school meals. Highly recommend and support this great local business!

Come rain or snow, high inflation or low, no matter what, the team here never forgot the well being of their customers and fans. Myself and my colleagues have been coming to the Crushed Bean almost since they started. Pam and her team always have a friendly smile for everyone. The coffee, tea and snacks are all great. Thank you for making our days begin happy and your contribution to the Croydon community.

Pam and the Crushed bean team are the heart of their community. Sitting in with your coffee you will see how many regulars the staff all know and have their orders memorised! We have been going to Crushed Bean since 2019 and they got us through the pandemic with their amazing food, coffee and vibes! Best coffee in Croydon and do not skip the baked goods! Pams mum makes the best vegan banana bread and an insanely good basque cheesecake! Crushed Bean is friendly, consistent, delicious and so dog and kid friendly! The ABSOLUTE BEST so yes... 10/10 recommend!

Stayed for over an hour while waiting for someone. Everything we had was very good. Coffee was smooth. Also had a peanut butter power ball, PB open faced sandwich, and rooibos tea. My husband had a flat white and fresh mint magic. Ambiance was light and cheery with our type of ballads!

My first visit yesterday and it was a lovely experience. The coffee is delicious and the staff very welcoming and friendly. A delight to see the Pride flag displayed so proudly in Croydon. There's also a very comfortable seating area downstairs.

Very welcoming place! I was surprised at how friendly the staff were. Everyone was smiling and offered great service (went twice this week). Plus, it's a dog-friendly place. My dog loved the treats and attention he received. (The coffee and cakes were delicious too!)

One of the best independent coffee shops around!! I agree with the other reviewers that say it’s all about the staff. They were warm welcoming and again thats for everyone dine in or take out. A customer brought his dog and I think it was the owner who gave 🐶 some treats 💕 I had an open mozzarella, tomato and pesto salad on sourdough with a perfectly balanced flat white. Both were delicious. Excellence is the name of the game @CrushedBean

I love this place! It's cosy and the prices are very reasonable. The people are sooo friendly, I got asked if I wanted help because I didn't know what drink to get, I got the Earl Grey rose tea and is was AMAZING! I will definitely make this my new go-to spot.

The coffee here is exceptional, and the staff are incredibly humble and friendly. It's without a doubt the top coffee spot in south-east London and ranks among the best in Greater London. Kudos!

I love this little cafe mostly because the staff are genuinely friendly, after a few visits they recognise you. The banana loaf is also worth having. I like the window seating also.

I have been to this coffee shop few times with friends. Today (02.02.23) I visited to have a cup of coffee and catch up on some emails. The service was poor. The girls were chit chatting with their routine customers about how people come and have one cup of coffee and sit for hours "working"... I felt very awkward and uncomfortable. They girls went on to say how if people need to work they should hire a space as they are trying to make money etc... I felt so uneasy walking out of the coffee shop. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who wish to have their coffee and work otherwise you will be judged and made to feel uncomfortable. I would opt for the big chain coffee shops who just let you get on with what you are doing and leave you to it and don't put any pressure on buying more cups or for doing your work. I am very disappointed with my experience today and will not be visiting again.

Lovely local independent coffee shop. I'm a regular visitor now for coffee, matcha and cake. They have a variety of options including different types of matcha (ask for the spicy with vanilla for my fav). The Japanese cheesecake and chocolate banana bread is delicious. Cosy atmosphere with seating up and downstairs and run by the friendliest people. A must try!

Currently the best coffee in Croydon. Lovely and friendly staff. Cozy little coffee space downstairs - ideal for meetup with friends or to simply do some work or catch up on some reading.

My favourite place for a coffee and a snack in Croydon. Staff always kind and attentive. I wish the area had more businesss owner like this, a true example

Very friendly kind and knowledgeable staff. Flat white was very nice indeed. Be warned that it's a small space, so you may not get a seat to enjoy the coffee.

This is a little diamond in the rough that is Croydon. The coffee here is great and, although I didn’t eat, the food and cakes also look very nice. I’ve just had 3 flat whites on the bounce so I’m going to be skipping all the way home.

Amazing food alternatives in addition to quality specialty coffee. I try V60 with Single Origin Columbia beans🥇with EM’d Fave Toastie🥇

Nice little cafe with good food and coffee, but could do with some minor improvements: - Please increase your portion sizes: the cheese toasties are tiny! - Please install a handrail for the stairs and remove trip hazards around that area. Walking up and down that thing felt like a death trap! - Please sound insulate the bathroom. The walls are paper thin and I don't think people want to overhear someone in the toilet whilst they're trying to eat! - Please make the menu on the wall larger and clearer. I had to squint to read it and also couldn't understand the options that were available. Please consider rewriting them for better clarity. - Please extend your opening hours. 3pm is very early to close a cafe! Otherwise I would recommend this place, but do keep these things in mind when you go. I'll be coming back because I liked the atmosphere, but it would be better if the above improvements were implemented.
