Overall it should be 4.5 stars. The environment is not big but crowded. It was full house during the visit. So it is advisable that you should make a reservation. However the queue is not very long and acceptable within 40 minutes to be seated. All the foods we ordered are tasty and delicious. The portion is above average and the pricing is reasonable. The drinks are below average and be improved. The service is good and promptly.

No wonder it’s full until 9.30pm, make sure to give a call for reservation ya or a day early maybe. Food is so good & nice presentation. I would like to repeat again to try out the rest, and make sure to order their chicken karage & arachini! It’s a cool place tho to hangout with friends & family. P/s : try to come early, parking a bit difficult there.

First time dining here and it was definitely an amazing experience! The environment is great for gathering with friends and the menu is really unique too. RATA served western malaysian fusion dishes and every dish we ordered amazed us. I personally love both pizzas we ordered, which were mutton masala pizza and smoked salmon & mango salsa pizza. Both were very delicious but if you prefer something less heavy and mild, I’d recommend you to try the smoked salmon pizza. It got both the smokiness and saltiness from smoked salmon but the sweetness from mango salsa will balance it out. And the pizzas here are hugeeeeee because they’re all in 14”, so don’t overdo your order. They do serve alcohol like beers, wines, cocktails, etc. so it is definitely a great place to visit for gathering with friends! Highly recommended!

It is an Italian fusion restaurant with a bar on the second floor. Quite packed with people. They have some creative waiting seats outside. I would recommend people to reserve the seats before arriving to secure the seats and to avoid waiting in the waiting list. The Spicy Lamb Linguine was delicious. Full of flavours and original herbs. It was being washed by cold water after it's cooked. The ingredients on the pizza looked simple, yet it is freshly cooked from the wood-fired pizza oven. There were some chicken breast, jalapenos, cheese, and some sauces. I would say it has a very special taste to it. Overall, my experience with this restaurant is very good. I received friendly and kind services from the waiter and waitress. Highly recommended.

Didn’t enjoy my time here due to the incense/perfume smell that was just too strong in the restaurant . Food was undoubtedly above average but not as good as described in the reviews. Cocktail was really creative and i loved it alot. Service crews were quick and friendly. Recommended to come in groups.

Love this place! Food is always on point, their fusion menu is fun and flavourful. Tried their jungle juice recently and boy does it pack a punch 🤛 Be sure to make a reservation before coming as the space is small and they can only accommodate so many at a time.

My experience in Rata Subang was AMAZING! The food, ambience and service is good as well. No regrets at all. I would definitely come back again. This is what I call fusion at it’s BEST💯! The big surprise we had was the pizza it was HUGE and to top it off it tasted so delicious. We ordered the Lamb Ragout & Mango Chutney pizza it was so tasty. We also ordered other types of food those were delicious as well. I managed to take a picture of the pizza halfway eaten 😂 . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 💯🙌🏽

Ambience: cozy restaurant great for brunch or dinner. Plenty of seats and tables. Service: lack a little attentiveness during beret serving but didn’t make any impact on dining experience. Food: large in portion so please order wisely! Love their popcorn chicken and would recommend!

The environment is decent and comfortable. Huge crowd during lunch. Their portion is big. Lamb&caper relish burger 🍔 was quite salty and greasy. It taste like salty Chinese pickles with thick lamb patty. I am passionate about mutton, so does its gamey taste. But this one just too much, it is greasy so I didn't manage to finish the whole burger. The accompanied wedges was fine. The chilli sauce taste quite garlicky and sweet. Smoked salmon& mango salsa pizza is a good combination. They have salty pickles on the pizza too (I guess the chef are really fond in using it). The salt wasn't applied evenly. Some of the pieces were really salty, but some were fine. The waiters were friendly.

Environment was nice, staffs were very attentive. Their food was great, but the mushroom soup was super salty. Their cakes were disappointing, though it looked pretty but the cakes were too dry and the cream reminds me of those cheap cakes I had when I was younger and it was so expensive. Will come back for the drinks but dessert? Maybe not.

Good place for gathering and celebration. Limited dining space, be sure to make a reservation before getting there (even weekdays). Prices were on the high side. Overall foods were strong flavours and pizza was huge. Hope they have smaller size of pizza in the future.

Ordered for takeaway. Food is flavourful, delicious and all the ingredients taste very fresh. I especially enjoyed their pesto sauce. The variety of their vegetarian options is decent, some can be easily converted to a vegan meal (ie the mushroom & tofu burger in the photo). Price is above average (minimum 17.9 per meal). Will definitely order again!

Food is amazing but price slightly higher, main course priced around 30-40. Serving portion is big tho. Don't look down on the 14" pizza it's big! A long overdue review from a fan : Being born and raised & having spent my entire life in Subang Jaya, no spot has ever captivated my heart like how RATA did! They offer good food , cocktails and ambience . I personally love their pesto pasta and all of their pizzas. I've been religiously going to RATA for the past 2 years + for all kind of occasions ; work meetings , meet up with old buddies , hang out with friends , date night , me time , farewell , celebrate small /big victories , avoid traffic, celebrate Christmas ,once to even convince my dad over something (it worked) , game nights during lockdown and etc. Safe to say that this place is my absolute favorite (my friends' and family's pick too) and my comfort zone. Always love the new items and changes they make to their menu. Their bartenders and waiters are such sweethearts and let's just say everything about RATA is top notch . Pizza are great but some part of the dough was not cooked properly. Environment are great and the service was excellent. Price is on par with the food and the service provided.

Went to dinner celebration and make reservation. The manager of the cafe was helpful and friendly. We manage to get seated on time. The interior of the cafe was nice. They also provide plenty of seats outside the cafe for the customer who waiting to be seated. Upon entering the cafe, there’s a lot of people inside. But the owner didn’t put the table really close to each other which you can usually see to some famous cafe to maximise their profit. We have plenty of spaces to move around and not bump to each other. We ordered quite a lot of foods and all turn out beyond our expectation! Well done to the chef. Definitely will come back soon! One of the best cafe I had ever been! Just only one thing that we don’t like which is out of their control. At the time we arrived, there’s quite a lot of empty parking but parking touts were putting cone in the parking space. We need to pay them to park there.

Food wise pretty good. Some flavour is a bit amiss. Price is pretty steep and portion is super small. Making it not exactly value for money. Yet the place is fully reserved and you need to either get there early before the crowd comes in or book a place earlier.

Had company team dinner here last week. Please make a reservation if you planning to go dinner time because tables are limited or else you gotta wait in line. The lamb pizza was superb! Worth the price. The chocolate cake was delicious too. Size of drink is lil small but it's still fine as long as the food is good.

I came here with my very close friend after so long, we enjoyed our crispy cajun chicken burger and grill chicken and pepper olio(spicy) . the food was great for the price. I personally love the interior and the ambiance. Will definitely come here again with friends and also they serve alcohol drinks!

Mochaccino - not so sweet and quite nice with choco flavour, and can also taste the coffee. Quite nice. Appetiser cauliflower and chicken kaarage - cauliflower was very soft and chicken was flavourful + tender. The sauces was also matching with the food yum! Spicy lamb linguine - delicious! Not too spicy but very flavourful. Lots of lamb pieces too. Definitely filling! Place was full and happening. No heavy smell after leaving the restaurant haha. Service was good. Overall enjoyed my first try here :) price slightly on the higher than average but willing to come back once in a while.

Their signature cocktails are sumptuous, their new home baked scones are worth the price as well as their crispy cauliflower which is extremely delicious. I had a great time dining at RATA.

What delightful food! Between 4 adults and 2 kids, we ordered 5 dishes, 4 cocktails and a dessert and not a single thing was anything less than yum. Truly enjoyed our dinner. Definitely coming back.

Lovely ambience, chic and modern decor. Lively music that doesn't drown conversation. Perfect place to catch up with a beer or two. Price of booze is upscale, not your happy hour joint to get smashed. Food was disappointing. My sausage bun was dry and aged, it crumbled away as I cut into it. My wife's chicken in a burger bun was over done, either accidentally or to hide it's age. I'd go there again for a quiet private meeting with some drinks, but not for food.

Great place for a night of good food, good drinks and great ambiance. Come with your drinking kaki and you'll have a good night out. Shame the service could be improved. Only the bartender seems like he wants to be there. Most of the waiters come off aloof and borderline rude. But focus on the great drinks and really inventive indian fusion food (pizzas are AMAZING) and you'll be fine.

Went back to Rata this year and was surprised with the new look of the restaurant. The last time I went was in 2022 and it looked a lot better and a lot more aesthetic. The food is always good but it seems like the quality and taste have gone down from when I last had it. The prices have significantly increased too.

Had the pulled beef + pepperoni pizza & camambert roast pepper rigatoni! So delicious! Pizza was 14 inches, huge portion. Will come back 100%. Very impressed with the food

Visited on a weekend, place was full so make sure you book in advance. Food was great. The pizza was huge and super worth it. The pizza is the thin crust wood oven type and could easily feed 4 people. Pasta was alright nothing to shout about. The mee goreng was one of the best mee goreng I've eaten (ps. I don't eat much mee goreng) it was really good although it's twice as much what you'll pay for at the mamak. First time having Arancini honestly I'm not the biggest fan of it, it's basically just a fried ball of rice coated with breadcrumbs and stuffed with cheese. The mushroom soup was thick and filled with fresh mushrooms. The toastie was loaded with cheese and mushrooms, it was really filling. The mutton was really tender and flavorful. All the portions were great and service was quite fast even though the restaurant was full. The mojito was really refreshing and I very much enjoyed the iced chocolate. All the staffs were great and I would definitely be back. Overall 8.5/10

Overall foods was delicious. The interior is quite dark. Love the starter, cauliflower and arancini. It was piping hot when served. The teriyaki pulled beef bao was juicy and soft. Beef Burger was great with super crispy wages on the sides. Unfortunately the pizza was quite disappointing, ordered the wrong flavour. Mushroom and truffles pizza. A 14 inch pizza was huge, no truffle taste at all, loads of mushrooms given which is too greasy and with the cheesy. It was a sweet pizza. But the crust was chewy.

I've only come here once back in Nov 2020. The place looked semi-fancy and had nice wooden decor. It was looking extra nice on that day since it was my b'day and I was seeing everything with rose colored lenses indeed, but I remember the drink very vividly even today- it had a whole fresh rosemary in it. Food was good but I don't remember anything that made an impression.

A refreshing Indian and western fusion restaurant. Love their pizza and they are humongous. Do expect a higher level of spiciness if you order the spicy foods. They serve cocktails as well. One of those places where you can pick anything from the menu and not be afraid of the outcome. This place has got some really amazing food and drinks!! Food - the karage chicken and fish cutlet were awesome but the items were that stole the show were the mutton mango chutney roll and the prawn pizza. The flavour of the pizza was just too good(had crushed peanuts and a pickle based flavour). The sriracha chicken baos were nice too! Drinks - the cocktails here actually feel like have a special drink rather than just having alcohol. Pinneaple prada is highly recommended and lychee was good too Cant wait to come back and try other items!!!

We had dinner here at around 6pm. The aircond was not on, was abit hot that day. We had to inform the staff to on otherwise... Lol Food wise generally not too bad. We ordered the mutton fried rice since many of the reviews here mentioned that. It did not disappoint, taste is good. Nasi lemak was just normal. The rest of the food are alright. Lack of service. We ordered the beer, food was already served but no one served the beer until we reminded the waiter. We noticed a few staff at the bar but they were just standing there. I guess the waiter thought the bartenders would pour the draft beers out, but no one did..so he went in to do himself after we reminded him. The waiter was helpful, credit to him on that. Overall, experience was just OK.

I've visited Rata 3x so far. I love their food. Their servings portion is good. Service is okay.. it can be quite pack during peak hours. The parking 🅿️ is the worst, because it is located in a shoplot so parking can be a huge challenge. If you can't finish your food and decided to take away, there's an additional charges which I find it quite unnecessary since we have already paid for the food. The restaurant is quite small, so when it's packed it can be quite noisy. As for the food, I ordered the pizza 🍕, Mee Mamak, Spaghetti, Mutton Rice, Oyster Bao, everything was good 💯 Overall, this place is Okay will visit again.

The place is really nice. The staff are very polite, very soft spoken. The food presentation was great. The taste was a kind of fusion with Western and Asian. Had a good dinner. Since it was Deepavali, we were given a piece of Paal Gova....a recipe from the owner's grandmother. That was a sweet way to end a dinner. Will go there again.

Variety of Malaysian fusion foods available. Best menus to try is the mango chutney chicken, fried mutton rice, and mutton pizza. The drinks are too expensive and served in very small glasses. One of the best hang out spot ever! Classy and simple... Yummy food at affordable price... The cocktails are so flavorful and a must try! The best part, they serve delicious vegetarian meals which is very rare in restaurants and cafes.

Go during Fridays to Mondays for best cocktails. They are also reasonably priced. Food is fresh and portions are very generous.. It's like the most affordable gastro bar in town... But be prepared for a very long waiting time...make reservations ...parking too can be a hassle come early or after 9pm.

Had a good time at RATA..It was quite crowded when we went during dinner time on a weekday but we managed to get a seat at the bar (moved to a different table after) Service was good as the waiters were really fast and efficient. We order a lamb pizza and beef carbonara along with 2 cocktails. The pizza portion is quite big and can be shared by 3 people. Super yummy 🙌 the pasta portion was enough for one person but we shared among the 2 of us. We also had two cocktails. Although there could be a little improvement on the cocktail, it was good nonetheless.

We ordered 3 dishes, a lamb ragout & mango chutney pizza, carbonara and a fried cauliflower. The pizza was lovely, something very different from your usual pizza places, a must try! The carbonara came with 2 garlic bread which was super toasted (the way I like)! The fried cauliflower was a bit too cheesy but taste without the sauce! Waqu was the lovely person that served us and gave great customer service!

Arancini balls were great, both the lamb and mushroom ones. Pizza was not bad though did taste like it lacked salt, hot dog unmemorable. Cold beers were just what the doctor ordered for the start of the weekend!
