Honest review: I can’t believe that this hotel has 4 stars. Beautiful view, friendly staff but here are some red flags; - Shower Dirty ( mold and yellow stains) - Balcony so dirty - Dust EVERYWHERE. Seriously did they even clean?? - Painting ripped off the wall and broken lights. - Stained sheets on the bed! ( I wish I had taken photos to post it here) - I had to pay €37,20 for snacks at the bar which I paid on Saturday but at checkout on Sunday they tried to charge me again! ( I gave them my banking details so I hope that I get my refund 🤞🏼) *I normally I don’t leave bad reviews but this is not ok. Sorry to say this but I think that we just got ripped off.

Great place, very quiet rooms. My beloved dog was welcome aswell. Friendly people, nice chilled rooms with climate control.

Unfortunately not worth the price. Starts with broken furniture, very dirty rooms full of spiders, flies and mosquitos (we switched rooms and both were the same), tiny bathroom full of mold and ends with questionable outer appearance and many not maintained areas. All of the above things could be overcome with a more rigorous management. The hotel overall is nice but not very well managed.

We booked a hotel room with terras and paid higher price but then we haven't got the room we paid !! No refund ( for sending us in other room with cheaper price ) so basically that is totally unfair !! Arrogant staff at front desk the woman with darker hair !!!

A bit disappointing. The location is nice and our room looked generally nice as well, but was not well maintained and needs some thorough cleaning. When we arrived at tried to park the car, the gate wouldn't open and I couldn’t get a parking ticket. When I rang the bell at the gate, the lady at the reception told me I couldn’t park there after 8pm and if I had any other questions. Basically telling me to get lost until I confusedly asked how I was supposed to get to the hotel then. She later clarified that this was due to "security reasons" and "youngsters" making trouble outside. In our room there were lots of squashed insects everywhere, the wallpaper was coming off in multiple spots, drains were clogged in both the shower and sink and the curtains didn't block out the light well, so I was awake from 6:20am. Wouldn’t stay here again to be honest.

I stayed here just for one night. Room was large enough. Location is great. Hotel seems new or recently renovated. They have a nice restaurant and terrace. View is great especially at sunset. They have plenty of parking spots. Price is very reasonable for the quality.

I feel robbed by this hotel. I had booked the new years package or "oud en nieuwjaar arrangement" with 2 rooms via the hotel website. But instead of booking the new years package, the hotel only booked the rooms for us for the same high price. And made us pay extra for the dinner, which was supposed to be included in the package. Also we could not use one room because one person could not make it. But the hotel made us pay not only for the extra room but also for the extra dinner and breakfast that we didn't eat and the services for the second room that were never used. The worst part is that we were told during check-out that this is how it is and we have to deal with it. We waited for dinner for more than an hour and people who arrived after us were done with their dinner before us. We had also requested a bottle of champagne, which was warm and standing in our room for hours before we arrived (we were not even given glasses to drink from). The beds are not very comfortable and there is a big gap between the 2 twin beds. We basically ended up paying more than 500 euros for services worth less than 200 euros. Except for accepting dogs, there is nothing special about the hotel. Although dogs are accepted, there are no specific arrangements made for them, not even a bowl of water. At such a high price, you would expect much better services but unfortunately, the start of the new year for us has been on a bad note, thanks to this hotel. I am surprised that this hotel has 4 star reviews. It needs serious improvements.

It's a good hotel with small rooms. The location is fantastic. The staff is friendly. The major letdowns are the beds and the bathroom. The beds keep on moving, and they are not fixed. The bathroom is cramped in a small place.

Hotel was great, room was perfect, clean and very comfortable bed. Nothing to complain about and would stay again if in the area.

This hotel and it's views are incredible! Of course the nature surrounding is amazing on it's own but the hotel created the perfect accomodation around it. Having drinks or breakfast, entering the hotel room... it's all accompanied with great views.

Lovely hotel situated on the river. Fantastic restaurant and bar. Great staff. Rooms are contemporary and spacious. Only niggle was they had no bottled still water and not much coffee in the room.

Breakfast with few options, horrible dinner, tasteless food, without flavor, also with very little choice. I left dinner at the hotel and went to dinner at a restaurant in the city, in addition to having paid dearly for the food at the hotel, which was not good, I had to pay to eat again. ok rooms

Hotel was easy to find. Enough parking spaces. Also the prices are very acceptable (booked online - saved 20€). However - the rooms are not too big. Also the TV is very small with no possibility to connect an HDMI cable. Also, the bed was way too soft. It caused hours of back pain. Also, the dinner in the restaurant was quite pricey with a very small menu (only 1 option with meat).

Great service, great food, rooms are quite spacious. The hotel is a little far from Amersfoort Centrum. Nice hotel for company gatherings, ideal for Team Building activities also great place for wedding venue or if you just want to get away from a busy life, this is the right place for you.

Rooms are very spacious and restaurant/bar comes with a great view. It is located outside the city with a calm and serene view. Breakfast is average.

We had a lovely stay here. The lake was wonderful to sit by on the terrace. The weather was beautiful in March and we didn’t see any bugs yet. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our bed was actually one large mattress and not 2 beds pushed together so that was pleasant. I only wish the patio furniture was nicer and a table outside would be nice. You can walk the trails to the beach and the park next to the hotel. The area was nice and quiet. Our room unfortunately had a door that could be connected to the room next door and the people next to us had a crying baby so we heard that for 3 days through the door so not soundproof. The terrace sliding door was a bit difficult to lock and unlock. Perhaps some instructions on the door would be helpful because I heard many others struggling with it. The staff were friendly. There is a large free parking lot with electric charging. Just grab the ticket when you first arrive, give it to the front desk when checking in, and they will register your license plate so you can go in and out without any fuss.

Wonderful weekend getaway. Besides the lake. Good at the restaurant is amazing.

Had a one night stop over here. Although the location was nice we would not book here again. Price Quality ratio was not given for us. We booked a room with terrace. Nice view but so many mosquitos, flies and spiders you can not really enjoy it. And sun hits only in the afternoon. Bed was uncomfortable, mattress way too soft and sagging in the middle and when the other person moves slightly you feel the bed shaking, not a pleasant restful night sleep. Morning surprise was a huge spider on our towel. Better stay away if you have a phobia. Restaurant was ok, but nothing exceptional. Since there is not much to do around a one night stay would be max in our opinion. We stayed in other places around for similar prices and preferred those stays.

I chose this hotel to get away from Den Haag w my dog from the firework madness. I could not have chosen a better place to get away. From the moment we checked in to checking out it was lovely. The staff was so nice and friendly. Lots of dogs checking in to get away from fireworks. We did dinner on NYE w the dog and the food was delicious. I even was able to attend the bar the day after NYE w my dog to have a few drinks. The hotel is located next to a big lake where the fireworks can be seen across the water w little to no sound. The surrounding area has parks and beaches where you can take your dog to let off some energy. 100% will recommend and will be coming back next year w my dog again for NYE. Thanks again to the staff on NYE weekend for being all so kind to all the doggos !! :)

Nice location to meet in centre of NL. From all directions easy to reach by car. Well informed team of people. We used the small business area wit 2 colleagues for a quick meeting. You pay fixed amount per person per hour for space and coffees. In summer it must be realy good here, huge terrace with lake views.

The view from the terrace is superbe and the rooms are clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Only the quality and selection of the dishes could be improved.

The location and terrasse are nice with a very nice view. The staff was very friendly too To know if you have a dog. All the beaches nearby are forbidden for dogs. Only walk u can do walking is next to the big road. Only dog beach is 11min by car on the other side of the river (parking entrance 5euros). Watch out that if the water is dirty and green it could be blue Algae (that can kill dogs). So all in all not a great place if you come with a dog. On the positive note the hotel offer rental bikes and dog bike trolley as well as tandem. For the rest the view is great, the room is ok but a lot of small things was suboptimal. Bed was not comfortable and too soft. They don’t have real double bed. It was two separate bed put next to each other. Toilet paper was recycled paper very thin. Food isn’t great but coffees were nice. They have a big parking with charging for cars. Many places to rent boats nearby Despite the staff and view was nice. I don’t think we would go there again

With my husband we made a two-night booking through an internet site. We arrived about 3-3 and a half at night. It was raining and it was cold, but we had to stay 15-20 minutes in front of the locked door of the hotel. We rang the bell repeatedly, trying to contact by the phone mentioned in the reservation, but nobody answered. A sleeping man appeared after ringing the bell for people with disabilities. Walking to the room where we sat, we saw old and worn carpet, and many spiders webs on the windows and walls in the corridor. The room itself has very old furnishings. Very awkward wardrobe likeness, very incommodious beds for a 4-star hotel, one bed even no bedside table. The mattresses are narrow and damaged, which is why I needed to keep my balance, trying to sleep. Old carpet of stains. The terrace was all in black mold and green. The floor is made of tiles that are not well fastened and pose a danger if you get to the end. The bathroom has a small, worn-out, greenish and moldy shower cabin that made it impossible for me to walk in and out because I have a right foot lesion and the door of this shower cab opens in half. It's a factory one. Breakfast was relatively acceptable. Apparently pets are allowed in the hotel and restaurant. There were those who were fed straight from the plates. It was impossible for us to stay for the second night under these conditions, and we asked to return the money for it. The receptionist personally refused. On our desire to talk to the manager, we received an answer that he was absent from the hotel and we left. We described the situation on the site we made reservation when we returned to Bulgaria and we were offered a one-night bonus. Overnight we had already paid and did not use due to the extremely poor conditions at this hotel.

I had a conference here. Quite well organized however meeting room was difficult to get to the right temperature. It was either too cold or too warm. Dinner was good but not special. Annoying that you were only afterwards informed that only one drink was included in the dinner. In principle no problem but inform upfront please.

We stopped by during a hike with our dog for lunch. We were warmly welcomed by kind and helpful staff, as well as a lovely interior in the lounge and restaurant areas. The food was excellent although we weren't impressed by the coffee. Nonetheless, a fine place to dine.

Please remember to bring tension belts for strapping the two halfes of the beds together. Otherwise those will shift apart and instead of one queen/king size bed you have two princess size beds.
