Overal it's a interesting building but rather dilapidated, only thing that I found really bizzare is that there is a man at the entrance, and asks 10 shekels to get in, no official stand, just tells you to put 10 shekels under the basket. I found this very bizarre, of you charge people then it should have an official stand and look somewhat professional.

I went to visit The Great Synagogue of Tel Aviv in April, and it felt really surreal to have experienced being there. It was incredibly admiring to see how well maintained the building and ornaments were, given how historical this place is and it's amazing architecture!

It's a quite place. I visited on Shabbat and I wasn't allowed to take pictures inside. Besides, I'm not sure if you are allow to visit it by your own if you are not jewish. When I did I went with some jewish friends to celebrated a Bar mitzvah

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! The guy on the entrance is asking for 10 NIS for entering public Synagogue! Total disgrace!

Nice, big (actually great), very well maintained Synagogue. Interesting architecture, rather simple approach. No fancy decorations whatsoever.

A large building in the heart of Tel Aviv, but this one inside is empty in every sense of the word. This synagogue deserves to be renovated to offer its visitors as well as those who come to pray a little warmth and beauty. I hope that the price paid at the entrance will be invested in its embellishment.

Special Events on Sabbath and Holidays, interior of main sanctuary very impressive, although it needs refreshing. Good location for those needing daily or Sabbath services in the heart of Tel Aviv.

The fact that they charge you to even enter the Great Synagogue is ridiculous…
