This was one of our bucket list places to see. My wife and I love Agam's art work. I would give it 5 stars, but there were a couple of things that really bothered me. A lot of Agam's art is interactive and to see it properly you need to touch it. He has an art peace on the upper floor that says "touch me", but when other people try to touch it the security shows up and says do not touch . It was soooooo hot in the museum. The rooms that were not being used had air conditioning but the main museum was hot. So much so that we ended up leaving much faster then we wanted to. We found an air conditioned room that we sat in with our over heated kids and great grand parents and were told that we can not be there after we were told to go down there from a different staf member. All in all the 4 stars are because we love Agam's art work. The negative 1 star is the staff and other problems listed above.

I was great! Am amazing exhibition. Should be more interactive and more than just one floor… also, please have pre purchased tickets validated on the entrance without having to go through the ticket purchase line….

Incredible museum of Yaacov Agam's works, mainly kinetic art - a true genius and a new perspective of how we view the world. A modernist of his time, yet timeless art. Highly recommended!

The Yaacov Agam Museum of Art has recently opened in Rishon LeZion, the hometown of internationally acclaimed Israeli artist Yaacov Agam. Located in Israel’s fourth largest city, just 10 minutes south of Tel Aviv, the museum is a joint initiative of the Rishon LeZion municipality and the father of the Kinetic Art movement. The museum will showcase six decades of Agam’s groundbreaking artistic research, presenting temporary exhibitions and permanent displays of some of his most important artworks, coming from prestigious collections and museums worldwide. Yaacov Agam’s art, which engages and fascinates all ages and audiences, from curious tots to sophisticated art enthusiasts, spans a breathtaking range of artistic expressions, – transformable sculptures and paintings, polymorphic relief paintings, interactive digital art, objects and installations amongst others. At age 90, Agam continues to renew himself with untiring energy and aims to establish the museum as the worldwide center of his artistic philosophy and award winning Visual Education Method, as well as one of only a few museums dedicated to Kinetic Art. In the Israeli public sphere, the artist is especially renowned for the iconic “Water and Fire” fountain in Dizengoff Square in Tel Aviv and the vibrant design of the façade of the Dan Hotel on the Tel Aviv promenade. His works are also displayed, amongst other places, at the President’s Residence and by the Western Wall square in Jerusalem, as well as in the Israel Museum and the Tel -Aviv Museum of Art,where his monumental “Pace of Time” welcomes visitors entering the museum.🫶🏻🫶🏻

The official museam of Yaakov Agam. Has art pieces that he made especially for the museam. Some more need to be added in the future. If you can wait for an instructor that will give depth to each work. The tours are in Hebrew, English and French.

We visited when there was a special tour for parents with baby strollers. The guided tour was great (and totally necessary). Great place.

I love this place , the art is special and creative. It’s suitable for all ages. Solo exhibitions of Yaakov , pure and exclusive. The size of the museum is perfect for spending one hour alone or with family. The staffs are friendly. The give you short introduction of the artist and it’s products. The arts are colourful and dynamic, at same time has deep silence and peace calm your mind . Great job 👏

You have to love 3-D art to start with and more over the signature of Agam. My overall impression is the feeling of a nonstatic exposition, things are moving here..it is fun, also for a younger audience..no comicated analysis of what the artist wanted to tell us, just fun art and happy colors. Nice for an hour tour.

If you love Agam's work, you will love the museum, however, the architecture of the museum isn't impressive.

A small, but very nice museum. The visit must use a guide since some of the exhibits are kinetic and only him or her is allow to touch.

A small museum, the visit lasted less than an hour and was renewed only shortly after all his exhibitions in the leading museums in Israel in the last decades

“There are two distinct languages. There is the verbal, which separates people… and there is the visual that is understood by everybody.” Y.A.

Lovely, modern museum of Agam's vibrant and astonishing art. Takes about an hour to see the whole thing. Small cafe, surprisingly no gift shop. 25 minutes from the tel aviv beaches by car/taxi. Worth the travel.

We arrived on the day of Sukkot. We ordered entrance tickets including instruction (the same price as without instruction) and there is no doubt that the instruction is significant because it allows you to experience the art in the best possible way. The works are stunning and we really enjoyed walking around among the works, experimenting and taking pictures. The children also enjoyed it (11,14).

Amazing place, where you can see interesting pieces of art. We also listen to English and Russian excursions, it was very interesting and helped go deep and see the meaning of colourful paints

Highly recommend to join a tour or to wait inside for a tour: some of installations are dynamic and only museum guides are allowed to set them in motion. On the other hand, do try to touch TV screens with video art works!

Fascinating collection. The tour guides can activate the kinetic sculptures. Loved the building.

Wow. Just wow. But make sure to take the guided tour - that's what transforms the visit from "nice" to "wow"

Must do! Gorgeous, brilliant and unbelievable genius. This museum is a real gem. Thank you Yaacov Agam for sharing. Thank you Rishon Letzion for making the space accessible to all

Awsom artist and good collection of his art. Very unique. Good guidance by Revital. Looking forwards to the exhibition to be renovated. Small things like a missing spotlight or a broken exhibit spoil the experience. Still worth it!

Amazing building with amazing art. would recommend doing a guided tour like we did. Some of the artifacts can be moved and you are obviously not allowed to do that yourself. A tour gives you a better understanding of the art. Great accessibility also for the disabled. Will definitely go there again

New museum at Rishon Lezion, with art of Yaacov Agam . Also inside and outside the museum. It takes some time to understand the way of thinking of the artist, and the way to look at the art to have the maximum experience. There is an ability to add a tour. I suggest to take the tour, or to read about this talented special artist before coming to museum.
