My brother talks highly about this place about the taste and quality of the food. Visited the place with the whole family and found his observations true to the last dot. We ordered mutton chops and Dumba Karahi...both were amazing. I highly recommend this place. When I visit Lahore again, this place is now on my MUST visit place.

Food was good, however you have to order 1 hour before for the food to be ready. Family sitting is also available. Seating is available in the form of Takht or Chair Table

Highly recommended. One of the best tasting meat karahi in Lahore. You can get the meat of your choice and have it cooked in either ghee or the fat of fat-tailed sheep( dumba. If you are a mutton lover then that's the place for you to visit. You can select the mutton and ask them to make fresh for you but it will take almost 90 minutes but the wait is worth the taste. The taste is really amazing the quantity is fine but the service and the ambiance can be improved as it's not clean and the floor was dirty. Other then that the food is really delicious and a heaven for mutton lovers

Best Dumba Karahi and Rosh in lahore.

I don't think I've ever had better barbequed lamb in my life! The Karahi was good too! It was the perfect amount of buttery, and not annoyingly chewy at all. The fat complemented the curry perfectly. The lamb tikka was even better, in my honest opinion because I wasn't expecting it to be this good. The team is so thoughtful that they don't even make us ask for lemons because tangy and masalaydaar mutton is where it's really at people! So what are you all waiting for? Try it with your male work colleagues someday, and while you're at it... ask if they have separate seating for families as well. Let me know too. Definitely returning here! Two words, Absolute GOAT! ;)

It is a good experience. When you come you shld give time jn cooking food. Better ask the staff to cook well. We had Dumba Karahi and Qeema. Both were awesome. Kindly noterhat the old n real shop is inside and not at main road. Move little ahead, take left, then one more left and it's at your left side corner. They have separate parking.

Great taste. First we go to front branch but one of our friend told us that main branch is on back side. Overall sitting of main shop is far better then front one. It took nearly 2 hours to cook dumba karahai for us we wait but wait was worth it taste was great ate the end we drink kawa. Recommend if you've time to wait because it took way long to cook.

Best shinwari food option in Lahore without a doubt. Order takes 60-80 minutes which is conveyed at the time of ordering. It's better to give order on phone before going to save some Time.

Best experience. Taste quality and service all good. Don’t fall for the ilyas which is at start of truck adda on road side. Go further in passing fruit mandi into street right infront of Ghani roof top. That one is authentic ilyas.

If you haven't ordered 1 hour before arrival, bruh you have to wait for at least 1 and half hour for serving after placing order. Highly rushy place even on the week days and it gets extra rushy on weekends. i guess you can get almost similar taste of Dumba Karahi from Spain GharShinwari on Temple road mozang, but since it is made on wood, so it has a bit better taste than that. They just need to focus on improving the time to serve, rest is ok as one can make an idea after hearing the word " Truck Adda "

Dumba Karhai was good but I think it was not well cooked. One should ask them to cook until the meat is tenter. It takes time to cook perfectly.

Somehow taste was not upto the mark this time. It was very ordinary taste like any other dhaba place. They took almost 1.5 hours as usual,which we always expect while going there, but the authenticity of the taste was missing which is mandatory when you gather the courage to travel from one corner of the city to this end. Not to mention, rates are going up rapidly.

Dumba karahi meat was uncooked and was hard, lamb chops were so hard could break your teeth Mutton pulao and no dessert/sweet was not available so basically we were down to very few options, overall bad experience and probably will never visit again My review might sound a bit harsh but it is what it is.

Ilyas Dumba karahi has a fantastic taste and a wonderful environment. It's definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a great setting....

Got here after traveling 30km but it definitely wasn't worth it. Waiters weren't responsive at all n there was nothing like even a fan or air cooler in such heat. So, we had to go to another place.

A Must go to Place for Pure Desi Food Lovers Specifically Dumba/Mutton Kafi Intezar Krna prta ha minimum 90 Minutes. Environment is Just okay Price: 3500/kg They now have added chicken dishes too. Overall it's 7/10

Ilyas ia just a name nothing else, we did not get what we bought, better to visit Ghana Shinwari 100 times better taste and super service.

Mutton Karahi ( lamb meat with gravy)and lamb ribs bbq ( champ) was perfect. Most delicious and authentic design taste. No arrangements for families although it is not prohibited to bring one’s family. Sitting on carpet. No chairs or table . Full desi mahool. Need to install good washrooms and basins.
