Their pizza and pasta are just yumm😍😍 extremly friendly staff. The place is suitable for couples or for group of friends. This is their rooftop, they also have nice indoor seating. Their restaurant concept is pure Italian. They also have a collection of specialities cocktail. Their menu can be found on Their Instagram page.

I would definitely recommend this place for dinner with loved ones. The setting is lively and spacious, and the service is excellent. The parmigiana di melanzane (eggplant parmesan) and linguine gamberi e bisque (linguini prawns) were very satisfying, and the portion was generous. We also tried the carpaccio di spigola (seabass carpaccio), which tasted good, though I’ve tried it elsewhere with fresher fish. The spaghetti alla carbonara was a bit disappointing, as it was too salty and lumpy. Overall, this place is worth returning to for its great location, beautiful ambiance, and good quality house wine.

Such a charming and cozy Italian restaurant in Beirut. I can not recommend Mario e Mario enough. Everything about our experience was perfect, and so romantic. Our server Joey had such a lovable personality, special thanks to him for taking good care of us. A couple of recommendations on the menu: • Insalata Di Indivia (a very unique mix of pears, walnuts, and cheese — it was delicious!) • Carbonara Con Pisella • Pizza Prosciutto Cotto E Funghi • Panna Cotta

I visited Mario e Mario to try their lunch formula, and I enjoyed the experience. The staff is very friendly and polite. I love that they have an open kitchen, allows one to see the food while it is being prepared. As for the chicken that is stuffed with goat cheese it was amazing, I would recommend it to chicken lovers.

cute little italian restaurant hidden within mar mkhael. I love the decoration and the songs. Loved the pizzas and the zucchini fries. The waiters were friendly and funny and helpful, giving us good suggestions and combinations. Reserve beforehand since it easily gets busy.

Amazing atmosphere and very cute decorations. Loved the place all in all. The pizza was light, airy and very flavorful, we took the bianca con funghi di bosco. We also had the burrata con pomodori and the carpaccio de spigola which were good. Prices are on the high end (around 40$ pp).

It's perfect on all levels! The outdoors seating is amazing, the service is impeccable. All the waiters and waitresses are professional and extremely friendly. As for the food, the pizza is flavorful, all the ingredients are appetising. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of dressing in the endive salad and the parmesan which is not enough tangy for my taste.

By far one of the best Italian restaurants! Great location, amazing ambiance and Italian music, open cooking area just enjoyable! Best pizza ever, risotto shrimps with lemon not to ne missed, risotto mushrooms the best. Mushrooms sautée with lemon, among many other dishes that i tried. As for the lasagna i didn’t enjoy it really, it was chewy and overbaked, I’m a lasagna lover but this one wasn’t on my taste. The service is great and the stuff is so helpful and welcoming.

Charming Italian restaurant that can trick you - for two small seconds - into believing you've been transported to some Tuscan village, away from the latest drama inevitably unfolding around you in the mighty Lebanese capital. The setting is very warm and pleasant (the large glass windows that fill the room with light might have something to do with it), the service friendly and unpretentious, and the food is decent. Highly recommended for a long due catch up with friends when you finally come back to Lebanon for the holidays, for a people watching evening to see what the kids are wearing these days and observe interesting group dynamics, and generally speaking for a fun lunch or dinner, where company and vibe take precedence over a gourmet culinary experience.

Very quaint little Italian place in Achrafieh. Seating areas have different ambience for different occasions. Whether you're here for lunch, dinner, or celebrating an occasion, I would highly recommend checking this place out. Service is wonderful and food is very good. I had the shrimp lemon risotto. If you're not a big fan of parmesan, I'd ask for a modification on the amount as a big part of the flavor was parmesan. Overall a very nice experience.

Got there at 3:00, we were asked if we had a reservation, we didnt, the place was completely empty! They pretended to seat us then told us the kitchen closes at 4 so we will have to eat fast! Eat fast! I had my 2 kids under 5 with me.. We left.

Authentix Italian pizza , the bresaola pizza was top notch and so where the salads! The chef is out of this world with his fine mix of flavours. Price was slightly higher but reasonable! The ambience is very nice as well.

Excellent italian restaurant in the heart of Beirut! The real rating would be 6/5. This place has a great Italian decoration while preserving the authenticity of the Lebanese house. The cuisine is impressive, never tasted such good Italian food, but note that it’s somehow expensive. Their service is like the cherry on the top, fast, well prepared, and they have a weird capacity to predict what you want. Heavily recommended…

A very nice place with a charming terrace that gives you authentic italian vibes. Food is tasty, and the waiter was very kind and friendly. The pasta tastes like the original italian artisanal one, cooked al dente. The pizza dough is freshly made and cooked however I recommend making the cooking area less exposed, as some of the staff were wandering around the cook with no hair/beard covers.

Great Venue and amazing food . its a perfect spot for a date or chilled gathering . Had bresaola pizza and mussels spaghetti and both were great , just a hint regarding the pizza , it could handle bit more cheese . Also had the fried calamari and shrimps starter and it was the one that stood out , great combination and cooked to perfection .

A cute Italian restaurant that gives you the vibe of Tuscany villages, food is good 👌, the ambiance is really nice and authentic. Everyone was really sweet and welcoming except for the waiter who was serving us, he was very rude and unprofessional. From the moment we entered he started giving us weird looks, when we told him to help us and recommend us a dish he asked us if we like pesto or truffles and we told him no, then he told us to go to McDonald’s since we don’t eat these, it was so weird of him and gave us the impression that the menu doesn’t have many options to choose from(which is not the case since we have already skimmed through the menu), yet we disregarded his comment and proceeded. To add, i ordered with my food a soft drink, and he started making fun of it (and asked me if i want it ابو جمبو) again i disregarded the comment and proceeded. Then my friend (she is vailed) was holding the drinks menu, he SNATCHED it from her hands and told her these are alcoholic drinks stay away from them and went. It was my birthday so my friends and i where in a celebratory mood and didnt want to get in any arguments or so with him so we ignored his comments and rudeness but he made sure to ruin the mood by his nonsense comments, and for sure he ruined the surprise when the dessert came. I really feel like the restaurant should hire better and more professional waiters that can give a better impression of the place since it is really nice and classy.

I seriously love this restaurant! My favorite italian place not only in Beirut but in entire Lebanon! I have visited this palce multiple times, and will keep doing so. When I crave Italian food, this is the first place I would think of. The atmosphere is amazing, I usually prefer the outdoor terrace as sitting indoors would make us smelly a bit. Their specialities are great! My favorite is the truffle pasta and the sea food pasta. Desserts are ok , but not as great as their food. The staff is being amazing!
