So
so
good...
local,
house
made
smoked
meats
and
bread.
Simply
awesome.
Attentive
service.
All
the
starters
were
generous
portions
given
the
price.
Note
about
the
food...
We
didn’t
want
a
huge
composed
meal
but
want
something
that
we
can
share
and
pick
at
together.
We
shared
4
appetizers
and
every
dish
was
scrumptious
and
left
very
full
and
satisfied.
The
lapin
rillettes...
rich
and
succulent.
Seasoned
to
perfection
and
spreads
like
a
beautiful
pate
but
with
a
nice
firmness
to
it.
The
mustard
pudding
and
pear
purée
complemented
the
dish
wonderfully,
Aw
was
the
candies
cashews.
The
boar
bacon
with
the
scallop...
I
drool
as
I
think
back
to
that
briny,
salty
goodness.
The
scallop
was
done
a
little
longer
than
I’d
like
but
to
get
that
dark
seat
in
both
sides
for
that
umami
goodness,
something’s
gotta
give.
Granted,
it
was
still
tender.
The
celeriac
purée,
the
cranberry
reduction,
candied
cashews
were
really
great
accompaniment
to
both
proteins.
French
onion
soup,
the
broth
was
phenomenal
but
I
am
old
school,
I
guess
because
I
prefer
the
croutons
and
cheese
composed
in
the
dish
rather
than
decomposed,
which
this
is.
Foie
gras...
came
with
house
smoked
bacon...
the
combination
with
the
cranberry
reduction
was
beyond
perfect.
I
was
tempted
to
ask
for
a
bowl
of
the
reduction,
it
was
just
THAT
good.
A
nice
little
surprise...
I
couldn’t
imagine
having
dessert
after
so
much
food
and
turned
down
dessert.
Our
server
noticed
how
I
really
wanted
a
little
something
sweet
and
gave
us
a
couple
of
little
truffles.
It
was
just
perfect
to
end
the
meal.
Wish
list:
Mac
and
cheese
and
smoked
meat
poutine.
If
I
go
back,
I’ll
be
sure
to
add
another
review.
