We come there to try korean BBQ and the food was really great ! It's was some really good food and really tasty ! but here are some point they need to improve: - I was not "korean BBQ" experience. Their build-in grill and fan are not working anymore. They will bring a a new grill on the top of the taple. Their is no difference eating there than at your house with a portable grill. - Half of us didn't get our butter for the grill. When we ask the butter, we were able to get 2 more, but one of us still didn't get is butter. When we ask to have more butter the waitress start an argument that we have enought butter. It was really unprofessional. Just give smaller quantity of butter to everyone and we will be happy. - Globally I didn't like how the waitress treat us. - They could not replace my soup by another one and add the difference on the bill. (They said at the beginning that was possible)

Small portions, food was relatively bland for the price and very slow service, took over 1/2 an hour for the first hors d'oeuvre to arrive. On the bright side it's a BYOB so you have plenty of time to enjoy your libations while waiting for the food.

Starter was nice but the main meal's meat was rock hard (we had beef, chicken and shrimp) - seems like it had been reheated 20 times. Service was good though.

The food was good, I liked bringing my own wine. I asked if I could bring other drinks and they said bring beer, spirits, anything you want. So I went to the SAQ and picked up some other things.

Their menu is one of a kind but I prefer to get one of the classics. They're Cashew dish is very good and I would recommend this to all who'd like to try something new or love Asian food. I go at least once a year and I'm never disappointed. I also like the fact that this place is a Bring-Your-Own-Wine restaurant so you could choose your own wine to pair with their food. I appreciate that they have staff that speak English very well and that they have English menus available. They also have free underground parking. This place is chic. A must-try!

The decoration is nice, sadly it's all there is in this restaurant. The food is extremely average, the portion are extremely small, the service is quite slow and the bill is high. I will never go back, there is a lot of better option in the city. I took, salad, general tao chicken, tapioca pudding.

We went at this restaurant on a Sunday with a group of 9 people (friends and family). We had a reservation in the private lounge a nice little room that can receive up to 14 guess. The decor is nice and trendy and the food is pretty good for an ok price. The service is average at best. Took forever to get our orders and 3 of our appetizers never were ordered by the waiter. He told us we probably never had ordered them ... So the 3 of us are probably affected by poor memory ... Would probably go again but wont be my first choice

Loved the food, the service and the atmosphere. I had soup and sashimi, my daughter chicken and crispy noodles, her friend sweet sour chicken and my partner chicken ginger stir fry. Desert was chocolate cake. All was delicious and reasonably priced. Recommended!

I went there tonight for takeout. I ordered sushi and stirfry along with a chicken salad. The meat in the strifry was a little dry and chewy but tasty and the sushi was good. The salad was basic Boston lettuce with basic sauce and sad tiny strips of what maybe was chicken. As a sit down restaurant, it’s classy and very well laid out. Finding the restaurant is not that simple. Go up to the second floor, go down a corridor and hang a left into another tiny corridor and you’ll find it with a little luck. Service was good but not a takeout restaurant.

Overall reasonable BYOB Asian restaurant. Lots of choices on the menu, but mostly variations of the same 10 base dishes (with with chicken, shrimp, beef, ...). None of the dishes we had were above 'OK' for taste, presentation, quality. Sushi was on par or even slightly below 'Sushi Shop' quality. That being said, none of them were bad neither. Was just expecting more, for the price paid. Staff was efficient and polite, and decor was clean albeit a little dark. If you're looking for a 'safe' option to book a supper, a date or the like, then Calao would be a good choice. If you're looking for exotic food, being adventurous, or wilder flavors, I would consider exploring other options.

👍 We were there for lunch and there was no lineup. We ordered the croissant sandwiches and coffee, both are freshly made. Highly recommend. Staff are very helpful to suggest food from the menu.
