went here during the summer and forgot to put my review, went to the low mass at 5:00! Got there 2 hrs early on accident and had a nice long conversation with a priest, who was nice and had been to my church in Nashua, New Hampshire. The homily was in French which is understandable, but the Latin mass was very reverent and beautiful! I had received confession from the priest, and he did an amazing job and gave me good advice! I would recommend this to American and Canadian alike!

Stunning Catholic church that features in Hitchcock’s movie “I Confess”. Mass is offered exclusively here in Latin by the priests of the Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP).

Very beautiful church, with a priest who is originally from Vancouver, extremely friendly and pleasant. In addition, it is somewhat of a historical place since it is the place where an Alfred Hitchcock film called The Law of Silence took place. The Church still retains exactly the same structure and arrangement of objects that were there in the film. Even all the woodwork which largely constitutes the Church has been renovated over the years, which means that everything is still "as original".

Great for confession availability and the front choir loft gives you plenty to wonder about why it is there....

(Translated by Google) I was made to feel very welcome. It is the mass of yesteryear, that of our ancestors. A must see. (Original) J'ai été très bien accueilli. C'est la messe d'autrefois, celle de nos ancêtres. À voir absolument.

The fssp is, in my opinion, extreme right-wing Catholicism which takes us back to the 1940s with the Latin mass and the dogma of the Old Believers. But who am I to pass a value judgment on their practice....

(Translated by Google) It is a place where we can meditate, pray, be silent, take stock of our life, admire the talents of the artists who have left their masterpieces in the vault of the church and on the transepts. The Tridentine liturgy (in Latin) gives it a very special character! You have to go there at least once! Worth the trip!
