Very good. For the price it's hard to find better. I had a great time the waiters were nice and beautiful. My wife was still better looking though.

Incredible service! Beautiful environment and music, service 100%, sushi wowww yes you wait a bit but it is totally worth it! And you can bring your wine ;) Yes you must take reservations! Love this place!

Had a very bad service! My Girlfriend and I wanted to share a meal for a friends birthday party and the waitress didn't allowed us. She couldn't stop repeating that she will charge us with 2 full meals even if we wanted to share one. We finaly ordered 2 sushis (chefs selection) they were all fried and tasted like a fishtank. I used to like this place but now it's off my chart !

We got placed in a small area of the restaurant and the place got very noisy very quickly. Then it tool 1h to get the food. It did not arrived at the same time for all the table. So some of us were almost done eating by the time the rest arrived. I don't think it is the service what's slow but rather the cooks. Was our first time there but won't be coming back.

Felt like the restaurant took itself too seriously. Waitress left in the middle of our order to assist other customers (first time I've felt like it was French speaking preference). Food was alright, can get the same quality anywhere. Dont go out of your way.

Great find! We had the full choix du chef and it did not disappoint. Scallop tartare with basil and strawberry dressing is one of the best things I've ever eaten. I highly recommend it!

Shogun was pretty avarage. Nothing really special. I'm not saying that the food was bad, no it tasted pretty good. The service was very good. It seemed like there was 1 waitress, for the whole restaurant. And she was everywhere. And had enough time to ask about us, also.

I'm sure this place would (not) have been epic but they purposely cancelled our reservation because they wanted to host a bigger group. We reserved 2 weeks prior and even called the day before to confirm. This was a family and friends dinner for my friends wedding. They were snobby with us and even had out names crossed out on the reservation list. But you know who was awesome, Restaurant Soria right across the street. They hooked us up with seating for our party right away and the food was great.

I believe the cost is way higher than the benefit. Besides there's no menu for people who doesn't eat meat or fish. Don't miss understand my review, I'm not saying the food is bad, I'm saying only that is overpriced.

Great tasting and very good looking sushis! We tried the "Discovery" dish for two, which contained delicious, inventive, varied, colourful and superbly presented sushi. The service is great and the staff clearly cares for its customers! We arrived at 18:00 without a reservation and were assigned to an okay table. Then, before we order, the waitress offerred us to sit at in a better spot, saying that these places were booked for later that night, but we could take them given that we left before 20:15... Thus, we enjoyed the culinary experience much more conformably!

Wow I can only say great things about the food and the place itself. It truly is a hidden gem. The ambiance was very chill and the staff was extremely attentive, which in my books is always a major plus. We've been going to shogun since 2014 and will continue to stay loyal to this hidden gem of a restaurant for years to come.

Service was super slow. Waited a few minutes for the appetizer and soup, but the main course arrived ~45 mins after. I already lost my appetite and mood. Food was okay, nothing really special - westernized japanese food, but will cost you quite more than it's worth. You can bring your own wine, which is sweet. Overall, 2 stars, minus 1 star for slow service.

One of my favorite sushi place in Québec.

The sushis were O.K. but nothing amazing. My friend ordered a Salmon Pokebowl and it honestly was the worst one I ever tasted, it went unfinished and bare in mind, we were there as a big group and a menu was forced upon us. No possibility to share a meal and said menu had no list of ingredients so we did not know what items we would be getting.We asked to get the sushi menu and were denied it as it would slow service down for a bug group but it honestly did not help at all.Service was slow and reservation was delayed half an hour while we were waiting there inside, all crammed against each other and when it came to being seated, we had to hear insults from the other group that was kicked out because of poor reservations management on the restaurant's part. Second time there, first time leaving a review. I'm never going back.

Sushi has no flavor or taste. Never eat anything like this before.

Service was fantastic, we brought our own bottle of wine with us, that is a great perk in Québec City. Their Sashimi was fresh and well prepared. I was pleased with the food. Lots of Thai selection and also Sushi and Sashimi. I look forward to go again, next time I am in Québec City. Highly recommend

Food was delicious but did not know it was bring your own wine, it's not mentioned on there website nor in the restaurant. Only bad was 1 common bathroom for men and women, and on 5 toilets 4 was out of order.
