Was in the area hiking and thought why not buy a bottle or wine or two of wine, so drove up to the winery with excitement and curiosity. Google maps took us through a raw and untamed dirt road, which we discovered it was. As we arrived, with coincidence another car arrived, and parked outside the winery. I politely asked the elderly man in Hebrew if he is the owner, to which he abruptly answered “we’re closed”. Conclusion: the owner (long “white walker” haired) is rude, and after this experience I will never buy his wine. Don’t come without an appointment or you’ll get a very rude greeting. Perhaps his pet sea horse died or something, but it’s no need to be so. Good luck, and also know these wines aren’t kosher if that’s important to to you - that’s why the kosher makolet at Bar Giyyora doesn’t sell them.

We had a great time in the winery. The staff is very knowledgeable and we really got a personal tour. The wine philosophy is also very inspiring. Natural wine making without adding cultivated yeast and wines from low yielding vines.

One of my best wineries, special story about a film maker getting involved in wine producing (while making a film on wine). Ze'ev Dunia the wine maker has a magic touch and makes very extraordinary wines with unique characteristics, highly recommended!

A fabulous place, really liked the wines, even the whites. Really loved the idea of stop making wine with yeasts and move to wild yeasts of the fruit itself, you can taste the difference. You can figure yourself why it is priced like that outside the winery Stuff with a lot of knowledge of the winery and even the owners sat with us and explained us about the history and the wine making process. You should order a place few days before and if you got lucky you can call when you’re on the way there and they will give you a chair if there is place. I think it’s open only on Saturday

Located within the beautiful landscape of Jerusalem mountains. Feels like a magic inside the wine. I visited the place a while ago. These days I enjoy the wine, which I buy in the stores, in my house.

What can I add? One of the best wine producers in Israel, great hospitality and a beautiful setting.
