The room has the smell of mold as soon as you walk through the door covered with strong perfume. I have a mold allergy and asthma it was a horrible experience for me! The bed felt wet somehow. I could hardly breath it was so bad! I had a very bad migraine and ended up using my own pillow and blankets. Also hose in the bathroom was leaking before we came and the bathroom floor was wet so we needed to keep our shoes on to go in. I would not recommend staying here unless you’re okay with mold and no windows for fresh air.

I had to stay one night to take some rest before continuing my travel and I was surprised about the below-the-average room for what I have paid. Old furnitures and dirty carpet in the room with peeled paper walls around the corners. I will never consider Ramada Hotel as an option for my future travels.

Iftar buffet is disappointing, the food is very low quality compared to normal restaurant, crowded, friendly staff, chefs taking food from buffet as normal guests. Couldn't give less than one star.

The Wifi was very unstable (on and most of the time off) and very very slow - basically completely useless. There was only one towel in the bathroom. Not even a bath mat when you step out of the shower. There wasn't a single hanger in the closet. Overall, the condition of the hotel is run down and in extreme need of renovation.

This message for Mr Samir and hotel manager. Both ill-mannered and rude I've been traveling for 35 years and have stayed in hotels all over the world. I have never seen a hotel manager who tries to cover up with lies amd is as rude to you. I wanted to talk to the hotel manager to resolve the problem, but he always ran away I have used this hotel for 10 years on all my travels but never again after this.Don’t louse time check other hotels. How whyndam group gave their name to this hotel

The buffet must be better! In the first days of arrival on the buffet there was soup, after a couple of days it was removed, nothing was added in return. there was a hummus - removed, nothing in return. then removed the cook who cooks (omelettes, scrambled eggs) - nothing in return! food does not change - they serve the same food for weeks (potatoes, boiled eggs, chicken sausages, pancakes, beans)

A bad experience of this hotel. If you are here for a day or two, then it is all right. But if you are for more days then this is fine for very low quality services. People in the dining area are fed up with you. As if you were a burden to them. Food quality is very low. You even have to beg for omelettes. Poor Management in Food section. Hotel management Must Required their interest in Food section. You have to wait a long time for someone to come for the cleaning. One star would be too much for their service

Terrible Bad Hotel, Staff and Service. I arrived at 4.00 PM but room was not ready it took another one hour. When I get rooms there were no bath towels, Door mats, No water. And they allocated a smoking room instead of my booking for non smoking room. There is no proper response from Room service and it took another one hour to get it after I went down to reception and asked. Their attitude is so bad. Stay or leave. Ramada management should relook at this propert. Hundreds of same kind of reviews and companints are there everywhere about this property but still no action.

Overall, the room was fine. The breakfast needs improvement including the service crue who assisted me. Also, for hotel like this, i believe that complimentary breakfast for all guest should be there instead of charging this separately to few guest (this together with food selection, and coffee area need improvement). The room is quite spacious which is I like (foe most of guest I believe) but in the hallway area, there seems to be leaked water coming from the top so the maintenance guy has to put signage. Location wise, it is in the center and with spacious parking as well. Overall experience 4/5 due to the issue on bfast. Otherwise all fine.

The hotel is good and the staff is very friendly and helpful specially Amir he is very nice and helpful. The bathroom when we arrived was dirty, we claimed then they sent someone to clean again but we noticed in the morning there was only towels for one person instead of two, again we asked them to bring us more towels. The bed was hopefully clean. I think it must have a professional manager to keep an eye on the cleaning stuff

We have visited the buffet for breakfast, I would give it a 4-star because we only paid 35 SAR per person with COBONE Food quality was good, not the best, but definitely above average. The service can be improved, and this is why I dropped a star and made it 3 only.

For the price, the room was ok, the breakfast was pretty good, and the staff were respectful and helpful. Areas of improvement: 1) Cleanliness, 2) Room dine-in services, 3) Towels availbility, 4) Room maintenance in general.

bad service, the GM there doesn't even speak English when I had a problem, the staff wear unprofessional uniforms.the air conditioner isn't working properly all in all a badly managed so called 3 star hotel. should really have a 2 star rating.and there isn't any swimming pool like they show in the pictures. the parking space probably fits only 10 cars at most and it is very narrow. not recommend.

Very unfortunate ❌❌❌ to such brand RAMADA with such bad operator. Very bad service need much more than current operator capacity to improve cleaning. Location, building, old very good furniture, nice space. But very bad operation. I am staying 3 days and they did not clean the rooms 😳 despite I called 4 times every day even the duty manager. Advice stay away or change the local operator.

The service is very bad and the staff not helpful, I ordered a room for three person and they provided me one king size bed and charged me for extra bed with no pillows and the said that I have to pay and he will send it later, after I payed they said there are no pillows available. For me it’s very bad experience.

Dated rooms, badly needs renovation. Limited food choices on site. Cramped and small parking - you would be lucky to find a spot. But for 300 odd SAR a night, what do you expect? Ok for a one night stay

I stayed for 17 days, Building, location, furniture , near by park are very good and attractive points. A few of the house keeping staffs, Restaurant guys, Security guys and all receptionists were nice to deal. Al-Romansia is very close to RAMADA - so easily your can dine in directly. It was inaugurated during my stay at Ramada. I was coming from Ramada Wyndham Bahrain directly to Khobar Ramada Gulf. Very unfortunate, WI-FI is very slow - changed room due to this, mostly not accessible from room - this is very important during Covida work from Home (Quarantine). Very bad operation by the team... Bed is not at all suitable for those who are back pain and neck pain. House keeping won't attend the phone except time between 9-11AM as per my experience. Then we have to call reception, they will attend in the last ring. One point here is One receptionist he was always active and very supportive. Only one lift is working and didn't see the sanitization in progress , they have to do the same considering covid 19. Food especially the suhur was not meeting the expectation of a 4 star hotel. Breakfast you will feel like daily same item ,they are not even replacing daily :( sorry to share this exact picture in review. One and only one important positive thing is,masjid (mosque) is just in front of the Hotel. I rarely missed the group prayer. During my quarantine period I followed th eid prayer by participating from my front facing / mosque facing room which will be an unforgettable thing 👍

The only thing, the guy on a reception did not let me check in at 12:30PM. I waited for an hour to check in. As per him early check in costs extra which was really weired. I am a frequent traveller and It never happened to me. I hope Ramada management will fix such issues for guests.

I travel often for work and usually stay at Ramada hotels. I was shocked at the level of clear mismanagement at this location in Khobar. My air conditioning did not work properly, there was no pool like the pictures show, and the decor was clearly worn and needed to be replaced. I do not recommend this hotel, especially because my complaints went unanswered.

Too much Poor menagement Specially in dinning section , House keeping and loundary. If you have to stay only one day then its ok but if your stay is long then this is not a good choice. Behaviour of receiption staff is very good and co-operative. I am giving this hotal 1 star only just because of reception staff is good and nice But Meal system (too much bad experience about food) , poor house keeping (no body will clean your room ,you call them and wait for whole day for cleaning of your room) and poor loundary (not good cleaning of suits and your suit can be lost) Overall too much bad experience in this Hotal 👎👎👎

Acceptable but the furniture is old. Also, reception employees need to have more capabilities on customer services

Food is not up to the standard. Waiters having no interest with customers. After 3 days of serving staff ignores their responsibilities.

  • 1/5 Malik waqar A. 2 years ago on Google
Ramada never deserves any star because of the meal ,house keeping and laundry. But just because of the good response and dealing of reception staff I am giving them a single star.

One of the worst hotels I have visited . Room needs cleaning . Sahoor is the leftover of breakfast . No kitchen after 2:30. Bathroom water supply needs maintenance. Towels needs to be replace Only good advantage I can find that it's near from mosque .

Horrible hotel!! Dated and old interior!! Worst service possible Had to call 3 4 times and it took over an hour to get bath towels which should have been in the room to begin with Reception forgot the booking included breakfast!! Different ppl keep giving different stories!! Not what you expect from Ramada hotels. Stay away from this hotel total waste of time energy and money!!

Well maintained and appreciated hospitality… Really enjoyed 2 days stay in Alkhobar… Spacious room and nice view outside… Very accessible to road and corniche area… Location is easily available for uber and other taxi services… Sure I’ll choose next time to Ramada… I will recommend the same to colleagues, friends and family…

Went to the restaurant for suhoor during ramadan with my family, utter waste of money.. they charged 140 per person, but the charge is quite normal compared to other 4 star hotels, the food menu was white rice, okra veg curry, scrambled egg with sausage and also 2 main salads with other few cut veggies.. Oh and forget to say about the drink!! Vimto and mango juice (store bought).. nothing more than this.. how can they charge so high for this.. and how can be they so genuine in this holy month serving this for high price!!

The hotel is located in a decent place, however the overall service could be much better The windows were so dirty , the room service could be better , usually very late and usually had no clean towels . Breakfast was good and tasty . Had some issues with my card , every couple of days it just stops working and I'd to visit the reception to fix that issue . Sometimes they forgot to provide me with water and tea and I'd to call them about it . The gym is so poor and outdated . Laundry is very overpriced , wouldn't recommend that to anyone . I'd give it 3/5

One of the best hotels in Khobar, the service was good and the workers there are really cooperative. As for the rooms they need to keep on maintaining the furniture as some of them need to be changed, as well as the electricity plugs coz some of them do not work properly. So I booked two rooms in non smoking rooms at first one of them smells like cigarettes so they changed it immediately, in the next day we had an issue with the electricity and there was a blast they were kinda late for responding but they solved the problem and changed the room and frankly they upgraded our room to a suite and they were also really helpful and as for the breakfast it was really nice and they were really nice, the meals they afforded were very good and acceptable. The parking lots in the basement is verrrrry narrow started from entrance through parking spots to the exit but it has a good vacant. Generally speaking I like the hotel and I do recommend it( as one of the good options) to anyone who wants to have a good time in Khobar

  • 1/5 Fahad a. 2 years ago on Google
the smell in the hotel in the morning is horrible as they are cooking in the middle of the restaurant, and there is no pool like in pictures, late house keeping, and electrical outlets are loose and not working, water pressure is weak. Stayed for 10 days

WiFi was not accessible inside the room Bed is not suitable for those who has back pain. Most of the time eeceptionist and restaurant were not answering the phone.
