The museum is open from 10:00 till 16:00 with guided tour every hour. Entrance fee 12€ for one and for a group from 2 persons 8€ each. I was one and was not allowed to enter the museum as the person working there was lazy to make a tour. You make all the way to enter the museum and willing pay and they just lazy to let you in and show you the house.

One of the best private house tours you can find in Europe. The quality of the collection of paintings, prints, arms and objects in general is equal to the best world-class international museums (for some is actually better). A real gem completely worth visiting for any art and history lover. A real pleasure for the heart, the eye and the soul.

Amazing and unique experience! The house is a very personal museum, our guide was actually one of the owners of the house. The collection displayed in the house is impressive and every object has its own history and story! This visit was the perfect way to end our holiday in Malta :)! Thank you so much!

Not to be missed when in Rabat (malta) tours conducted by the extremely knowledgeable owners. So many antique masterpieces and treasures to enjoy.

It’s my 2nd visit to Casa Bernard in Rabat , my first visit was 10 years ago , I was welcomed by George & joined me this time my wife & my son 8 years old who is interested about the Malteese culture and history since we visit Malta every year and we always love to experience every part of Malta , my son always dreamed of being inside the Malteese balcony and waving 👋 to the passing from the window 😊 his dream became true by George when he accompanied us around the home then went to first floor and allowed my son to have the view and photos from the balcony and stay as much as he like , we were happy of the detailed information given by George , he looked truly tired because we understand it’s not easy to do many tours a day specially each tour take approx an hour , George please stay well until we see you again next year ! Thank you . John & family from London .

Great feeling of historicity about here. Sitting with a liquid refreshment, iced coffee, taking in the peace and calm of the area is so relaxing. Will pay another visit on market day.

We have visited just four rooms, no chapel, no garden, no bedrooms... The price is really too much for just 4 rooms if compared to other palaces in Malta.....

A real hidden gem. A privately owned mansion in Rabat in Malta. The owners personally take you round. Worth a visit.

There are no words to describe this diamond. Indeed, I have never seen such special house. My girlfriend and I were impressed as little children. We enjoyed the informative guided tour of a lady telling us all the stories about every item in the house.

Exquisite; both the house and the storytelling of the lady host. After you leave it you have the impression you just traveled throught time and came back. Cronos painting upstairs is a true masterpiece.

Fantastic idea to open an original Maltese home to the public! We would have liked to hear more stories how they lived and live there, this was missing. The owner lady is very friendly, yet unexpectedly we felt kicked out before our tour was finished, sadly we were not even shown every room the tour includes. :( This place has great potential, but we had a more meaningful experience at Casa Rocca Piccola.

We had a great time with the owners, who are such kind and welcoming hosts. The house is a living museum with lots of exhibits, from paintings to furniture, cutlery, and more. All the works are authentic and in great condition. The owners are extremely welcoming and have a lot of stories about the objects, history , and life in Malta. It was a truly unique experience and I highly recommend visiting the house.

I went to Casa Bernard with my husband and my parents and it was hands down the best touristic attraction we've been to in Malta. The guide is a sweet, funny lady who's great at immersing you in the story and history of every little object or furniture piece that makes up the place. We loved the tour a lot and it's a must see for anyone who finds themselves in Rabat or Mdina ( the old capital is just a small walk away). You'll get an awesome experience and you will also support a beautiful local business:)

So on the front door there is written that the last admission is at 4 p.m, we rang the bell at 4 p.m precisely and the owner leaned out of a window and sent us away rudely saying "can't you read that we close at 4 p.m". Unbelievable

Lovely old house with fabulous antique furniture, many pictures, silver items and interesting antiques. Owner of the Casa, or his wife, take you round and provide historical background to the property.

Really charming place. Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed the tour and the fact that it was made just for the two of us. We liked it better than Palazzo Falson.

A fantastic experience. A personalised guided tour of a lovely property and amazing collection of art, antiques and curios. It is so generous of the family to open their house and explain the building and contents. Thank you!!!

One of the best tours in Malta. The experience and knowledge of the owner is breathtaking. I did not want the tour to end.

😠 This park needs closed down and the animals need to be rehomed ASAP. Its so sad to see these magnificent animals treat like this. Tigers, lions, pumas, bears in enclosures the size of an average bedroom some with no water and no shade. We just wish we looked at the reviews before visiting instead of...

👍👍 A cheap, unique and cool experience. Definitely worth doing if you have the time. You can see as little or as much as you'd like as you take yourself round a series of catacombs. Bought tickets upon arrival which was no problem.
