Yarian greeted us and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. He made sure our every needs were met and beyond. He checked in on us regularly and I felt like a queen. He is a wonderful person who cares about the people who visit the Iberostar and I can’t say enough about the quality of care and how much we felt cared for. We will be back for two weeks next time thanks to the service of Yarian and quality of the food here. I also want to mention how wonderful Liudmila was at the check in desk of Coral Selection section. She was friendly, always asked if we needed help with something, and always with a smile. When Yarian was off work, we had two butler, Junior and Yunior with Y … as they are complete opposites. Junior went above and beyond to assist us and was always checking in while Yunior was the invisible man you can never find or could not help us… which Liudmila or Junior would say can be done no problem with no issues. I also want to mention the two massage therapists Jorelio, who did my massages during the week and the female, who did my travelling partner’s massage…. They were amazing and I never felt better! The food at the Coral was spectacular with lobster, steak, shrimp, and other tasty foods. The Japanese was entertaining and I could have eaten their sushi and sashimi dishes daily. The Cuban was also delicious ! There is no lack of food or drinks … all tasty and well prepared. This was by far our best holiday and we are going back for two weeks in 2022. Love you all and miss your kindness and caring!

Wonderful resort with great staff. Close enough to the airport (a bit less than an hour's drive from Holguin) and on the coast so we had access to gorgeous beaches. Our part of the resort had a large pool with a swim up bar, restaurant and lots of thoughtful extras. The staff made this trip amazing. We arranged a buggy ride to a small market and a tour of the local village thru the hotel as well.

Excellent service, butler a bonus. One hour drive from airport. Adult only bonus, family area on grounds. Buffet shared by all. Adult only restaurant was nice & intimate. Swim up bar or they served you. Beach was nice.

The food was actually very bad when we went to the coral restaurant we asked for a certain item on the menu and they don't carry it we are deep in the buffet and everything there is catered to the Cubans don't waste your money and going to this place

This is a fantastic hotel! The staff are amazing and remember you every trip. The food is a little limited as Cuba is struggling but always found something great to eat. The location between Holguin and Guardelavaca is spectacular! The scenery is amazing! There are also many local excursions for dinner or to see the sites. You can walk off resort any time day or night and feel completely safe. I don't understand the poor reviews? Bitter people? I would absolutely recommend this hotel, in particular the Coral side. Been here 3 times and back again in a few days.

My partner and I had our first trip to Cuba and this was an amazing experience. The PEOPLE are what make Cuba Cuba. Carlos is an amazing personality and instructor and we have become good friends during our time here. The bartender Junior demonstrated an absolute passion for his work and his family. The butler Junior was attentive and reassuring and any challenges we faced the team helped us overcome. Embrace the culture, embrace the people and you will have a trip like no other. We will be back sooner than you know it!

The hotel is a 5 stars adult only. But the eat isn't absolutely good..we made a lot of trips..but this is one of the hotels with the lower food quality. Last day..we left 18:20..the hotel permit you to stay in the room only until 16:00 and you cannot have courtesy room to take a shower if you want to stay in the pool until 17:30. And this is proposed like a 5 stars hotel 😔

I spent a week here and just came back this morning. I loved my experience and had an amazing time. The staff is so attentive. If you needed anything they acted on it right away, which was very impressive. They didn’t operate on island time 😅. The food. Amazing. I had lobster every night. It was so delicious. The rooms were very clean and modern. There is awesome snorkelling right off the little beach. You just have to time it because of the tide. Quiet very relaxing laid back resort. I would love to visit again and I highly recommend.

I had a great time when I was here last week and enjoyed the great service from staff like Carlos at the pool and Dayana at the pool bar. Overall I enjoyed the environment and the proximity of it. I would come again!

This place is amazing. Second time there. Staff are wonderful and remembered us from 3 years ago. Food was great. Rooms right next to the pool. Bar just as close. Pool is a great temperature to cool down. Spanish coffee in the morning. Wine was great. Drinks were good and the beer.well it hits the spot. Certainly returning again soon.

Very nice resort, people and service. Food a bit poor but we were advised about it!

It's a 10-15 min walk to the big beach. While they have carts to bring you places this is not very accessible for those that have Mobility issues/struggles. The water is amazing and calm. The adult only food area is the best! Be careful with water!!!!! At the playa they have a food vendor and his sandwiches were top shelf!!!! Heavy on pork as the meat didn't really see too many veggies. Bring your own condiments and also salt
