Very dirty common areas (see pics), the girls at the reception are not customer service oriented, the dinning room is very disappointing - waited 10 minutes in a queue to get a single piece of steake... So far not good ;(

Update: Been there again for drinks in the evening and the view was so beautiful that I wish to share some photos The restaurant is too expensive for what it offers All our family was there for a birthday dinner. The site is beautiful, the sea view gorgeous, the service is outstanding, the cakes delicious but...Those of us who didn't ordered cakes or sweet dishes but savory ones were disappointed. The kids had pizzas but they were well below par, to their utmost disappointment. I believe such a luxury resort could definitely offer more and better than what it does.

We have known this hotel for decades and on the ad it says on a poster: "Timeless Experience", which is right. Nothing has changed in 35 years Rooms are nice and large but really not clean - the carpet so filthy that we removed it ourselves the first evening - mold in some corners of the bathroom Very noisy renovations next to $ 600 per night premium rooms from early morning (got a 25% discount after protesting) The owner family are milking this hotel for profits and almost 0 service The WIFI cut off every few minutes

Great Hotel. I stayed there for the weekend. The dinner is superb. The swimming pool located in front of the sea view. The parking can be a problem when arriving on busy days.

Amazing service. Beautiful location. Crew always on point and with a smile on their face . A real rizorte with good vibes, live music. The one glitch is the teen workers. But no bigi. If you got the 💰💰 you get the service.

It's the fourth time we are staying in Dan Accadia and we will definitely come back. Although it's the first time we came with kids and they enjoyed so much. Great facilities, food, services and the beach is just 1 minute away. Food prices are high near the pool and at the bar as in every hotel we visited before.

What a disappointing experience. EDIT: And to add to bad service the services manager replies with nasty comments instead of picking up the phone and asking what happened 🤦 Room design is 80s and staff is hit or miss. Some super friendly and some lied in our face thinking we wouldn’t notice and would have a “good experience” not knowing they were dishonest. Besides not getting the room we ordered and when asking for it to be dealt with, we were lied to with very shortsighted lies that were uncovered with a short google (“we don’t have any other rooms”, “but I see them on your website”, “oh we actually do”, etc…) In a clumsy attempt to compensate us we were offered late checkout and a 100 nis voucher for the pool restaurant without even apologizing for the bad treatment or for not calling us back (kudos to Tal from customer service who was the only one who followed up and made sure we were contacted). When we decided to extend our stay thanks to the nice pool we were again lied to about room availability (the cleaner was surprised that we said they were not other rooms, she told us they were kept up until late to clean all the rooms and that they were a lot of available rooms) Oh, and the “secret way” they told us they have to convert two twins into a queen like we ordered ? A sheet to hide the beds 🤦🤦🤦 Also while at the pool we saw the lifeguard yelling at some children super aggressively after making inappropriate comments to young ladies at the pool and one of the mothers complained he pushed her kid, a manager intervened and the lifeguard was sent to take a break, after the mother left he returned to complete his shift as if nothing had happened. It looks like a place with a potential to be a nice hotel, I wish the staff would be less shortsighted and have a long term thought about their guests and reputation of the hotel and the way they treat guests. Oh and some of the staff doesn’t wear masks (including the cleaning staff who was in our room…) so if you’re COVID aware I would recommend to stay away

We loved this hotel, and so did the kids. There is plenty of space for the children to play. The food was delicious and the location is excellent.

It is very old style hotel. I just visited the congress in one of the conference rooms. It was very relaxing. 🎼👌😀

Great location with great staff that is committed to provide great service. I particularly want to recognise Zmiro and Mahmud from the restaurant, and Harold from the room service department who is extremely caring and always goes out of his way to help guests even in aspects beyond his area.

One of the best settings in Israel, on the beach , comfortable rooms , very wide choice of fresh well prepared breakfast dishes. There is also a well equipped gym. The pool is expertly maintained and the life guards , pool manager are extremely friendly and helpful to add to the resort like relaxed atmosphere. The staff is generally very helpful and the hotel manager is visibly hands on . The room service manager Harold raises the bar and sets a new standard in politeness and efficiency. Seldom if ever have I felt such a genuine interest in guests well being and enjoyment.

Good place. Service was great, breakfast was provided and lots of options. Hard getting a taxi. No complaints at all. Little pricy, maybe it was a seasonal thing. Recommended.

Very nice hotel, well maintained and clean. Great customer service and very attentive staff. Delicious breakfast. The hotel gym is simply amazing, one of the best hotel gyms I’ve ever seen, if not the best!

Great resort. Good service. Staff very nice but not particularly attentive. Great views. Good buffet, family friendly. Everywhere in Israel, this place included, there is loud (often very bad) disco music playing at stunningly high volume levels. It's like having a bad movie score follow you around. I guess a lot of people like this, but for me it was disturbing- I much prefer hearing the ocean waves rather than have someone who doesn't share the same musical taste that I do pick what I have to listen to. For me this is more disturbing than creating a "nice" ambience. Several people in our party complained about this- wanting to take a nice walk, and then having music piped through speakers and having to go back to their room. My own experience was finding the bar responsible for the pumping music (where nobody was at the time) and asking if the volume could be turned down. The shocked response was:"you mean you don't want it louder?!" So I guess people in this place find it relaxing listening to bad disco sounds, however we found it disturbing and intrusive. It's a pity to be on a gorgeous beach and have to listen to someone else's music you don't prefer.

We looked for a place to relax on our weekend, near the sea, in the center of Israel. Dan Acadia was a perfect choice for us, combining the open view of the sea, spacy room, nice ambiance, and beautiful lobby. The staff was pleasant and polite. The dining experience was amazing, abundant variety of food that fit all diets. We felt rejuvenated and relaxed after this stay. highly recommended!!

The staff is always friendly and the food is good. I have never stayed at the hotel, only attended events, but I have always been pleased with my experience.

Location was great and the service was wonderful. Facilities were also nice. Though there were some roaches and many cats around. Hope to not see them again next time. Highly recommend for families with kids.

Great food. Service was decent but could be more attentive. No parking available nearby the hotel. Dining room was packed, with fairly long waiting lines. Some of the hotel facilities need to be refurbished.

Great location, large rooms. Elevators are too small and gusts have to squeeze together. Not enough resources at the front desk, we had to wait 15 min for check in.

This was one of my worse experiences in a hotel. The room was dirty when we arrived (even with a piece of chocolate by the coffee machine) and our towels had holes. The cleaning crew took 600 shekels from our bags on the second day of our stay. The food ok but most of the things were very oily. At least the staff was nice.

For a 5 star hotel, the room is in a shocking, appalling state. We understand it’s an older hotel and not commenting on style but we feel like we are in a backpacker: carpet, tiles, walls, all of those are absolutely disgusting in addition to the leak coming from the shower running, going in the toilet area where the phone is, down the wall. Please see picture.

My favorite Hotel in Herzliya. Close to the beach with an amazing view over the Ozean. A large and very nice pool area. Location is perfect for me as my office is in Herzilya. The Hotel features a DAN member lobby and executive lounge which is very useful. The rooms are above average and if it happens to you to be in the outside building you have an amazing view over the pool and the beach. Always feels like a small vacation even taken the fact that i have to work. The breakfast buffet is nice and has a good quality. again, an amazing view over the ocean. You can eat inside or outside, whatever you prefer. The service in the bar sometimes is a bit slow... but the quality of the food and the drinks is good!

Look guys I went there only for the Pool and I felt like a part of the guests there. The staff where so nice to me and my girlfriend, everything was clean and smooth and the mix of amazing location with wonderful gardens and decorations really contributed to the experience. The cost of get in only for the Pool is 150 shekels but in my opinion you should pay even more for a spa or a night there cus I’m sure it’s worth the price.

An amazing property ! Close proximity to the beach, beautiful views, wide open spaces to relax and a great swimming pool. As a Titanium member with Marriott Bonvoy and Spire with IHG, the Dan hotels and resorts are the best you can get while you stay in Israel.

The location of the hotel is superb and the room was quite good. The food is really great. What disappointed was the stuff. Despite the fact that some of them were really friendly there were some that left an unpleasant aftertaste from our stay. We were a part of the group, and the behavior of some of the stuff made us feel like we were some kind of second-class guests. Really unprofessional

We had a work day here. With about 100 people. The hotel is not ostentatious and therefore doesn't attract such. In otherwords, good atmosphere, well run. Good really fresh, staff just lovely. Proximity to the beach is wonderful. So too the views.

We've just seated in the lobby for coffee. Nice place but a bit noisy. The acustic is not so good.

Cosy rooms, superb service, and a crazy filling breakfast 🥞🥗 🍳 Located 3 minutes from the beach and 8 minutes from the marina and Arena mall. Free parking can be found right outside of the hotel's entrance, but you might have to circle a bit.

We just had a wonderful vacation at the Dan Acadia. Upon arrival we were greeted with freshly squeezed juices water and alcoholic beverages. The registration process was efficient and the staff was lovely and helpful. We then got to our beautiful and very clean room. The view of the sea from the room was amazing and tranquil. The lawns are gorgeous and there are many places to rest and lounge near the pool or on the deck overlooking the sea. The food was superb, a variety of food was offered, fresh and deliciously cooked. We can’t wait until our next vacation at this hotel.

We've been going to Israel for over a decade. Now that we've stayed at a variety of areas and hotels, I must say Dan Resort was impressive. Spacious rooms, garden, large deck to eat meals with ocean view, lots of space. The beach is literally just down some stairs and I was surprised pool side showers even had warm water. Both a large pool and toddler pools are shaded. Very clean. Our kids loved the free unlimited arcade and daycare (Danny Care). I really appreciated seeing the young lady reading books and doing crafts with my 2 daughters 8 & 4 years old. Food was normal priced for Israel so we ended up eating at the resort most of the time especially kids chicken tenders. However, there are several beach side restaurants to the left and right. Service we received was friendly, helpful and everyone seemed to know English which was so helpful.

My stay at the Dan Acadia hotel was truly a pleasant surprise. Every member of the team, from the reception area and housekeeping staff to the restaurant crew, bartenders, and management, was exceptional. I'd like to emphasize the outstanding service I received from Daniel at the reception. From the moment I arrived, he was incredibly helpful, providing valuable information about the hotel and the Herzliya area. His patience and kindness were evident throughout my stay. Every person I encountered during my time at the hotel was friendly and accommodating. The housekeeping staff on the second floor were consistently warm and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile. Kobi, the hotel manager, was accommodating and friendly, always checking in with a smile to ensure our comfort and happiness. His dedication to providing excellent hospitality was evident in every interaction. Lastly- Roy, the restaurant manager responsible for both the poolside bar and interior Castell hotel restaurant- He consistently went above and beyond, displaying attentiveness and kindness. He made sure the food met our preferences and was always eager to please. Made us feel at home !! I will highly recommend your hotel to all my friends visiting Herzliya. It truly felt like a resort oasis, and our experience was nothing short of amazing. Many thanks to everyone for the wonderful time. This stay will be a cherished memory, and we hope to return in the future, God willing!!!!
