My experience was most definitely worthwhile. Though the UofH was only a month and I still have the whole semester here, I feel like I already have gained more open-mindedness when it comes to other cultures and ways of living, independence and confidence from living and traveling on my own, and perseverance when it comes to my own education and advancement in the future.

The University of Haifa is located inside the Carmel national park. The university has the best views to the Carmel national park and nice sea views. You cannot drive into the University campus unless you car is registered. You can park your car along the road thou.

The University of Haifa is a powerful scientific center in northern Israel. It is located in a picturesque place on top of Mount Carmel. On the territory you will also find a wonderful archaeological museum open to everyone. The beautiful Carmel Park is nearby. I recommend getting to the university on a special cable car that departs from the central bus station. Get an unforgettable experience!

It might not be the best university I studied at, but it will always be the university where I grew up academically. Thank you for being the only context in Israel which enabled me to meet with all those teachers and classmates who saw me as human and student.

We were across the road at the many look out points, beautiful views of the valley and Mediterranean. Worth the drive, on the way to the Druz village to do some shopping, nice wooden furniture and pottery, all hand crafted
