A very charming place in the middle of Tzahala. The waiters take their time until they get you the menu , but after they take your order the service gets better. The food is so so , some dishs are ok, like the salads and some not so much. For example they serve a very flavorless spinch pritta in their breakfasts menu, without bread or coffee and it cost more then 50 shekels so it's not cheap. In general they are not generous with their breatfast . The highlight of this place in my book, is the cheese cake which is just prefect and the best one I ever ate.

A great neighborhood café with good food. It's tucked away in Tzahala neighborhood and offers indoor and outdoor sitting. Kind service and fair price. We had the egg in a blanket and Israeli Breakfast and enjoyed them.

Updated: Went there again as we do each time we have to vote as the voting booths are in a place adjacent to this coffee shop. As usual, cheese cake excellent, and the pears salad was remarkable as well. So again and still a 5 star rating. --------------------------------------------- Rockets may fall but the place is worth the risk. My 3rd review after another visit during the Rocket launching from Gaza on Sunday, May 16th (2021). At walking distance from sheltering so no fear nor even stress, assuming statistics would work against us. And the place was worth it.. Exceptional Cheese Cake as always, and agreeable service. The Crumble Apple pie was very good as well/ An enjoyable break in this period, but more than that, why would we change our way of living? More photos attached... My 2nd review...(March 2021) And yes, like my 1st one, again on the election day in Israel (the infamous 4th) So building a family tradition we had reserved again a table there for breakfast. We had coffee (Cappuccino and Americano), the Salmon sandwich, the Tuna sandwich and...the cheese cake ,again. Coffee was good (still not an expert and still liked it lot) The Salmon sandwich was really excellent, the tuna sandwich just fair (not enough taste) and the cheese cake was again...Glorious (and Huge). So to make it short, we had a really good time, excellent value for our money, and we definitely will be back (hopefully not for a 5th election)

Nice restaurant in the Tzahala neighborhood in Tel Aviv, delicious food. There are also good breakfasts. It is a pity that they do not adhere to the smoking ban. There are non-smoking places but ppl also smoked there and it was very disturbing

The place has a pleasant atmosphere and generally good service. The food is okay. Some of the portions were a bit above average and some were below. From the deserts, the cheesecake was excellent and the pecan pie was bad. We didn't eat the pie at all and no one asked why or how it is or offer any remediation.

Nice overall. The food is OK and so is the service. They should do a better job managing the heat for the clients seating outside.

Nice place. Good, tasty food. Slow service. NIS 24 for a (small) glass of hot cider? Really? Not to mention that if I wouldn't know that I ordered cider, I wouldn't guess it is...

Israel is known for its breakfast restaurant, this is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Food: we had breakfast for 2. We got a small salad, very small plates of avocado, tahini, butter jum and we got salmon which was nice. We also got 4-5 small slices of bread, so we had to ask for more. Very poor plate, which with this amount I would expect to get more. Service was bad, we asked for grapefruit and we got one which was ugly, probably out of date. The waiters said Sababa (which means nice) and at the bill we saw an additional 8 shekels for a large drink. We also ordered a cake which was very small and very expensive. On the other hand the venue is nice, and the coffee was good. But besides that, I do not understand why it is top rated.

Great food and atmosphere. My wife has celiac and I am lactose intolerant. We both had lots of options to choose from.

Good food, courteous staff, watch for relativ early "Bavarian style" closing hours.

Very good food, a tad pricey but nothing too serious. Visited here a few times and was never disappointed with the food or desserts.

Most expensive burger I've eaten in israel at 80 shekel. Could not cook it medium, chips were average. Over 20 dollars for an average and dry burger. 270 nis for dinner, the vegan tofu dish wasn't worth it either. Will not be going back

Best café in the neighborhood without any real competition. Great bread and other fresh products, decent vegan options, slightly yuppie atmosphere.

👍 It’s been a few years since my last visit and the place grew a lot and is now a huge restaurant right on the port of Jaffa. The design is very impressive too. We arrived just before 1pm and had plenty of room, despite the fact that we did not have an order. Right after we sat down, the staff brought...
