CoopHostel is little difficult to locate (especially if you are an international traveller and traveling without a internet connection). (Pro-Tip: Ask your way around to Indra Square, from where it is roughly 400m away). The place offers cozy beds at reasonable rates. Each dorm has about 10 bunks and 2 shared washrooms and centralized AC. Laundry is available at additional charges. Several restaurants are available nearby, mostly serving Indian or Muslim food. Overall, a good place to stay. Host is a little cocky though.

I wish that I could give this place 0 star. The bathrooms and rest rooms are not clean, the cement floors are slippery and there is always stein smell around. The worst thing is their stupid policies, no air conditioning during their cleaning time, 11am to 3pm, even after we request not to clean our room and open the air conditioner for us, the temp outside is 35-37Β°c. We booked this place because it is located in a popular area but we'ld rather go father to have better service. This is worst experience in our Chiang Mai - Bangkok tour.

Staffs are not much friendly. They will only act as friendly to get tips and very very dirty toilets. I can't even believe, how the staffs are using such a unhygienic toilets.

The very best thing about the place is, it's right in the middle of everything, shopping malls, metro stations, food stations, hotels, markets, everything is in easy access. The bed price is really cheap, the place is neat and clean. I will recommend this place with 5 stars. See You soon.

This is an edited review: I stayed at Co-op Hostel for more than a month between my 3 Thailand trips. It is the best hostel in the area for the price. A couple of feet away is the night market where vendors sell lots of clothes and plenty of street food stalls and restaurants and 7/11's in the area. The people at the hostel have always been nice and polite and accommodating to anything I needed. Beds are clean and fresh and now they offer free towels to use while there. There are curtains around the beds and if you have an issue they will do everything they can to help. An eating area is located on the roof, but those stairs are bit steep so be careful. The showers are new and improved, which feels a bit more comforting to take a shower now. They removed the washing machine and the clothes hanger on the roof, which is a bummer. There is a television and plenty of DVDs to watch movies and on the first floor is a small bookshelf with a couple of reads. I cannot think of anything bad about Co-op hostel. I always stop here first when coming to Bangkok and its convenient to the Ratchaprarop train station.

All staff are nice and friendly. The hostel is located at the good area near shopping place and Airport Rail Link. However, what made me feel bad while staying here was guests always made noise and did not respect other guests even night time. Bring ear plugs could be helpful. PS. For lockers, you must bring your own key. You need to pay THB30 for a towel, not provide for complimentary.

Congratulations for Jen (the receptionist whom I don't know the Thai name). She is beautiful and helpful! I really like the way she helped us when trying to find a floating market around Bangkok.

This place is nice, yet has quiet room and nice AC as well as good wifi. I forgot my stuff there and asked for help from the staff and she was really helpful. 1 minus star for charging everything tho, e.g. printing 1 paper cost 10 baht. It’s even more expensive than printer places

Very dirty and not friendly. Also for the stupid policy for turning off air conditioner for the hottest time in day ( 11h30 am to 3 pm), lol just like you are burning with fire when you at the dorm room with 8+ people. DO NOT STAY
