The owner was friendly as reviewed by others. Location great. I would say the only negative that needs to shared was the hostel was predominantly occupied by non-travellers and not even like laptop nomads but by so many people who seemed to be doing export business from Thailand. The nice decor was totally ruined by luggages and bags and boxes of goods that were going to be shipped. There was NOT much of a hang out place because much was occupied by suitcases or bags or the guests packing their goods at night. I hope the owner would care about the culture and vibe of the hostel. There was a small couch good enough for 2 just, the TV was old. So people might hang out at the dining table and dining table is not comfortable for hanging out. The high rating is quite misleading if you are a backpacker, but if you are some sort of trader, you will have no problem meeting other traders. The reason for this is possibly because in the evening there is nobody supervising the hostel at all. If they bothered to be have quality control, the quality of the hostel would be vastly improved.

Conveniently located near the East Bus terminal for buses coming eastern Thailand or Cambodia. Bed is very comfortable, definitely felt like I was in a 5-star hotel. Cute decor and owners are very nice & kind. Very clean and neat, good shower and toilet. Note that the guests might not be your normal backpackers (I think most of working and staying for relatively longer term), so you are not going to get the backpacker hostel atmosphere at all. Hence, I can only recommend staying for a night if you arrive night and just want to go rest and then move on to any regular hostels near Khao San Road. Location is okay, though not too far from water taxi or metro but motorbike might be the easiest way to go anywhere.

Truly bang for the buck! The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are super clean. Having the cafe and common room at the first two floors makes it super easy to grab a coffee and also chat with fellow travelers–I ended making friends during the trip! All in all, I'll definitely stay here if I were to visit Bangkok again in the future.

I had a pleasant time here. Suitable for solo traveler and very safe. They give you a locker with a key. Clean bedroom and clean shared bathroom. Just a walk away to the main street.

The hostel it’s absolutely stunning. At the ground floor there is a nice cafe with an outside terrace. 1st floor a lounge area which is basically a living room with a little kitchen tv and a PC. Beds are comfortable with wide mattresses and blackout curtain for privacy. Rooms have a big locker where you can fit your belongings. Bathrooms are well maintained and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly suggested!

Good Day Hostel is the simple hostel but very friendly environment also nice place to meet new friends from all around the World. I got about 10new friends from some countries and.. They provide snacks 24hours.. When we get tired and just want to enjoy the Hostel. U can eat the nice snacks😍

I had planned to stay at Good Day Hostel for 2 nights but extended it to 3 nights. The location is wonderful as you can walk to get food and shop. The hostel is so clean as they clean every morning. The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly! They provide a floor for relaxation as you can watch movies, browse he Internet or talk with friends. If I ever come back to Bangkok, no doubt I will stay there again. Thank you!

Cozy place to stay 💗🏡 breakfast 🍳 and coffee were delicious 🤤 Hostel was clean, nice bathrooms and shower spaces. Had hairdryers and even hair straighteners 💇🏻‍♀️🪞🚿💓 and quite bedrooms to rest 😴

I found this hostel to be the best I have ever stayed in as the decor was mindblowing. Here all the floors were covered with pictures and decorative items. The owners of this place were two brothers and sisters who used to take care of this hostel in turn and they used to go to their home at 6 in the evening. This property is located in Sukhumvit main area, 5 minutes walk from the market and right next to it there is massage center which will attract you. Bank and money exchange are also located nearby. The behavior of the property owner was excellent, he even gave me cash for which I made the card payment. Special care is taken of cleanliness here, which you will find in their washrooms as well. The nearest metro station to this hostel is Ratchathewi, which can be reached on foot.

Great place to stay! A lot of facilities you can use while stay there, there are also cafe downstairs that I don't even have to go out to get food. Location is great, close to the bus stop and bts, market is nearby. The only thing I find it a bit poor was internet wifi but I understand that there are a lot of people using it. Love this place btw, I will comeback for sure.

The foundations of this place were good, the security and room I was in was fine, the place is decorated well too. But the bathrooms were kept in quite a bad state during my stay, multiple times without toilet paper, and the bathroom didn't feel that secure with an unlockable sliding door to separate it from the staircase. Besides this, the main reason I am giving this 1 star is that there are multiple women running like e-commerce businesses from the kitchen/common area? To the point where I could barely walk down to the stairs. And not even boxes, they had loose items everywhere, scales and suitcases etc. I stayed for 3 nights and not once was this area free of their stuff. They would also stay up very late at night and be loud and scrape the chairs etc. Obviously this is not the hostel but the workers definitely know about this and don't do anything. It was at the point I had food and was told that I couldn't eat it in my room and to use the common area to which I went back and forth with the worker that there was quite literally no room to eat, so I had to eat outside on the street in the rain?! A previous review from 2 months ago states a similar thing. Maybe get these ladies to book their own dorm and run it from there, not the common room that's supposed to be for everyone.

Location is very good, near to all market area and nice cafe , it’s quite near to platinum mall , Pratunam night market , Indra square, it’s more famous for girls as lots girls from Indonesia come here to shops in while sale and sell in their own country, they have got nice cafe at lobby where you can have breakfast otherwise near by many options are available for good food , next to this hostel good massage centres are available so that after shopping you can relaxe too

This is definitely one of the hostels to go to If you want to be able to actually SLEEP without alot of racket or chaos from outside. It's on a street with a numerous massage parlours. The location itself in bangkok is ideal and an in between point to where most go so you can easily flex where to venture out to. The bathrooms and hot water availability showers are top notch, and exceeded my expectations. Wifi is great . Staff are all gems. The place could expand maybe upwards or something or maybe build more hang out places somehow someway...because that is the only limited thing. Its like small hostel hangout spot with nice dorms and beds upstairs etc. There is a CAFÉ in the front! Electric kettle for tea, Microwave, Fridge, small kitchen sink for sharing. It's a cool lil' efiecient hostel though for sure.

I really love this place! Very recommended! The room is great, the ambience is really nice, and also the sharing bathroom is very clean and neat! It’s also near the platinum mall and also really near Indonesian embassy, so it’s pretty safe for Indonesian tourists to stay there. It’s also located in a great location, easy to find foods

The staff really nice, i though he is korean people but actually no, He damm caring as when i reached, it almost rain and borrow me one new umbrella, is a new umbrella, some more he try his best to assist me to guide me how to go to the location that i wish to, the hostel is clean and quiet, i had my best sleep in Bangkok first time, cause sometime i will scare too noisy or too many ppl use the toilet,thank you so much and i will come back again, ur decoration is really suit me and i really no time to take pic, but i really like it, and location also is the best part, easy to access anywhere

Tucked in the most centrally located place in the heart of Bangkok, the Good Day Hostel is a wonderful choice for those who want to visit shopping malls and markets without taking the public transport. It is ideal specially due to its close proximity to the various malls within 2-3kms radius. Also, the facilities provided for guests specially the beds and linens, bathroom and toilet are well maintained and hygienic. Most of the guests are female and very few male guests stayed when I was there. It has mixed dorms as well as female only. I didn't find a male only dorm, probably they don't have it specifically. The beds may be small for some guests so do make sure to check. The manager was very kind and approachable, she helped us in directions and suggestions to some places to visit. One of the intern during our visit, her name "pray" even helped us in communicating with airport authorities over the phone to locate our lost laptop. It was these small gestures as well apart from the homely experience which has led me to write this review and let others know to surely make a booking here when travelling alone or in small group to Bangkok.

A great hostel that feels like home. It is clean, the dorms provide big lockers and a lot of personal space within the bed bunk. The staff was really helpful and they feel like friends. Amazing!
