First
of
all,
the
boats
staff
were
great.
They
were
helpful,
looked
after
our
bags
when
swimming
and
provided
snacks
throughout.
The
main
host
spoke
good
English.
They
well
deserved
their
tips
at
the
end.
I’m
terms
of
the
experience
itself,
we
found
it
a
little
disappointing.
We
did
the
James
Bond
Island
tour.
We
went
in
phukets
low
season
(September)
but
it
will
still
good
weather
and
busy.
We
first
went
to
Khai
Nai
Island
which
has
a
beautiful
sandy
beach
but
under
the
water
your
feet
will
get
cut
up.
This
includes
dead
coral
which
is
not
talked
about.
Seastar
offer
free
snorkling
gear
but
unfortunately
the
water
was
cloudy
with
poor
visibility
and
I
saw
no
sealife.
The
island
itself
is
filled
with
Hawkers
trying
to
sell
you
sun
beds,
souvenirs,
water
ski
rentals
and
bars
which
are
over
priced
(for
Thailand)
for
a
captive
audience.
You
can’t
go
five
minutes
without
being
disturbed
and
if
you
aren’t
interested
in
this,
it
becomes
annoying
very
quickly
and
there
is
little
else
to
do
except
take
photos
and
wait.
Seastar
do
offer
drinks
and
snacks
for
free
to
their
customers
so
you
don’t
need
to
pay
if
you
don’t
want.
We
then
went
onto
Panyee
which
is
where
they
serve
lunch.
It
consisted
of
rice,
fried
prawns,
noodles,
soups,
fried
chicken
and
water.
We
didn’t
expect
much
from
the
lunch
as
it’s
normal
for
this
type
of
tour
but
it
was
edible
and
the
fried
rice
was
quite
good.
The
meat
wasn’t
that
hot
but
cooked
properly.
As
for
the
rest
of
the
island
village,
there
is
little
to
see.
There
is
a
mosque
but
tourists
cannot
visit
it.
There
is
a
flouting
football
“stadium”
but
it’s
underwhelming.
The
rest
of
the
island
is
a
rabbit
Warren
of
passages
with
locals
trying
to
sell
you
souvenirs.
It
took
under
15
minutes
to
walk
around.
After
walking
around,
we
headed
back
to
the
restaurant
to
wait,
and
found
the
rest
of
the
customers
on
our
tour
doing
the
same.
We
were
practically
30-40
mins
earlier
than
we
were
told
to
return.
They
spend
over
an
hour
and
a
half
of
your
day
there
-
less
time
seeing
islands.
Afterwards
we
ended
up
on
James
Bond
Island.
I
was
personally
underwhelmed
when
I
get
there
but
that’s
nobody’s
fault.
Everyone
else
there
seemed
very
pleased
to
be
there.
Again,
aside
from
seeing
the
rock
there
is
little
else
to
do
but
be
harassed
by
sellers
or
wait
for
your
boat.
Next
was
Panak
Island
where
we
had
a
local
guide
kayak
us
around
the
island
and
show
us
the
caves
and
scooby
doo
rock
etc.
this
was
a
lot
of
fun
and
very
peaceful
and
the
highlight
of
the
trip.
It’s
worth
putting
up
with
the
rest
of
the
tour
to
experience
this
alone.
Unfortunately
we
did
not
see
any
ancient
paintings
on
rocks
but
this
may
be
down
to
the
time
of
year
we
went.
Lastly
we
sailed
to
a
final
island
but
because
of
the
time
of
year
we
couldn’t
get
closer
or
into
the
caves.
There
wasn’t
anything
inherently
wrong
with
the
tour
and
I
am
sure
other
people
will
enjoy
the
bits
we
did
not
but
I
wanted
to
give
a
thorough
review
of
what
to
expect.
I
was
hoping
for
more
interactive
time.
Seastar
staff
offered
a
good
service.
they
could
have
had
a
bit
more
knowledge
about
history
or
environmental
conservation
to
protect
the
area
but
to
be
honest
we
found
this
is
common
across
Phuket.
Take
more
money
than
you
expect
for
tips
as
well
as
cocktails
on
the
islands
are
expensive
and
non
alcoholic
isn’t
much
cheaper.
