That cannot be a 5 stars hotel. The hotel needs an urgent renovation everywhere. The rooms are big but in poor condition. The public areas are sad. There is a large choice of food for breakfast but it is not tasty. The place looks like a canteen and the furniture is dirty. Not enough staff so you have to wait longtime for anything. The good points: The sea view is awesome. The staff is friendly. The room service was very nice.

We recently stayed at Westing Siray Bay Resort in Phuket, booking a sea view 2-bedroom villa for four days at a cost of over 500K baht. While the property itself was somewhat appealing, our experience was largely overshadowed by poor service and several issues. Firstly, the management at reception was disorganized. We were given incorrect key cards and had to walk to our villa, which was located far from the main area, only to find the keys didn't work. Additionally, there were no buggies available to assist with transportation around the resort at that time in the evening, adding to the inconvenience. Our luggage situation was particularly frustrating. Not only did our bags go missing upon arrival, but we also found someone else's luggage in our villa. This mix-up was distressing and poorly handled by the staff. The private pool in our villa, a feature we were looking forward to, was a letdown. It was dirty, with crabs and spiders present, and remained uncleaned despite several requests to the staff. This was a significant disappointment and detracted from the overall luxury experience we expected. Regarding the dining experience, it was below average. The options for Indian cuisine were very limited, and the food that was available consistently arrived cold and late. The resort's policy of not allowing delivery personnel to bring food directly to the villas further inconvenienced us, as we had to pick up our orders from the main gate. The staff barely understood English instructions. The bed quality was also below average. Overall our stay at Westing Siray Bay Resort was a letdown. The service issues, combined with the inadequate cleanliness and dining options, made it feel overpriced and overrated. I would give it a 2 out of 5 rating and caution potential guests to consider these factors before booking.

As a Marriot Platinum member I was fortunately upgraded and appreciated the friendly, helpful staff. The hotel itself is extremely rundown and maintenance is lacking. I thought seeing as I had things I needed to do in Phuket Town, it would be nice to stay by the ocean but as others mention, there’s not much of a beach and I decided against paddle boarding as the water looked dirty (I waded up to my calves and couldn’t see my feet). If you’re looking to stay at a convenient Marriott, I would definitely recommend the Courtyard in Old Town. It’s a new addition and has been freshly renovated. The quality and freshness of their breakfast buffet are a also much better.

I was in room 1722 it at the very top of the mountain. Amazing view and lovely room. One down side is its a long way down to everything. But they do have lots of golf carts to take you around. The drivers are very quick and friendly. The walk down is nice just a bit of a hike up. The staff were wonderful and made you feel very welcome and very helpful. The breakfast buffet had everything you could ever want and had changs everyday. The pools are nice and relaxing a few to choose from and all different depths. The location is good it's just a bit away from everything that's a good and bad thing.

Maintenance at this property was non existent. The resort is in a state of disrepair. One of the pools was green with algae. After choosing this Marriott property after a recent upset from hilton ( I stay in a hotel 250+ nights a year) I have quickly decided to stay loyal to my Hilton patronage. The shower wouldn’t drain. I addressed this with the front desk 3 times during our stay to no avail. I asked for help finding a rental car, the front desk offered one suggestion. They had no cars available and the front desk said no one else would. Later, I took a taxi into town and got a car from the first shop I passed. Good at the restaurants on the property left much to be desired. My wife had food poisoning the second day which put a damper on our entire trip. Since we noted that we would be staying in, we asked for a room downgrade from a suite to a pool access room. This we were denied, and told it was unavailable. However, it was available to book online, and there didn’t seem to be many occupants in the vicinity of those rooms. Honestly feel as if I was scammed. Hands down worst “resort” experience ever. Additionally, when I asked for a copy of the bill at the end of the trip, I was told it would be emailed. Emailed bill only depicted room service charges, not room charges. The bill is still unavailable on my Marriott app.

The service of this resort is superb. Staff goes out of their r way to look after you. The common spaces are pretty and tranquil. Special shout out to the spa. The rooms are very spacious but run down. The shower was clogging, air-conditioning was noisy. Whatever issues were there sorted out by staff. It's far away from amenities and shopping so there is not even a shop where you can buy daily needs so location is not superb.

The room was spacious and well-kept, and offered a stunning view of the ocean. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and helped us with everything we needed. Having the buggies to take us up to our room was nice as well, since the slope can be a little steep for walking. The selection of foods and drinks available at breakfast was excellent as well. I especially enjoyed the fruit juices and the freshly cooked eggs. The cocktails I had in the evening were great as well. The pool was clean and comfortable, and the view of the sunset from there was simply spectacular.

We had an absolutely outstanding experience at The Westin. All the staff were super friendly throughout the trip, always going the extra mile from check-in right through to check-out. Our room was fantastic, really clean and up to a high standard. Hotel facilities are great in general although it would be nice if the TVs in the rooms were actually smart TVs and allowed Netflix or other streaming services but this is a really small thing! Also fantastic idyllic location around 15 minutes from Phuket city, to which the hotel offer a shuttle service! Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again! Stayed here in November 2021.

If you want to book a hotel for a vacation, look somewhere else. Don’t waste your money here. The locations great and the hotel looks beautiful with an amazing view of the water. But, the hotel is very old and not maintained . There is fungus all over the bathroom and in our private pool. We got 5 bedrooms with private pools, one of the bedrooms smells of garbage/ toilet. Another bathroom flooded while trying to shower The staff is very helpful but having to wait for a cart to get you every time, sometimes with wait times more than 30mins aren’t helpful. Hotel staff ‘threw away’ some of our items we had purchased and they were out back once we complained. They ran out of towels- towels!!! The beach is private but the water isn’t really accessible or beautiful. Lots of broken glasss. The list goes on. It’s a beautiful property that is in need of a serious renovation! Don’t waste your money.

What an amazing resort! We stayed 7 days in this lovely resort in one of their Salla Pool Villa, the views are spectacular and it’s very private and secluded yet you are still closer to all the commodities than all other types of rooms. - Service and Staff friendliness: when we arrived the room wasn’t still ready and we had to wait an hour to check-in so the hotel gave us vouchers for complimentary lunch and drinks, while we wait for the room. - Room Service: they are very generous with the supplies they provide; the usual shampoo, conditioner, soap, body shower and in addition they put a body loaf, shaving kit, salt water for a bubble bath, clothing washing powder, comb, and lots of towels, so you don’t have to keep using the same towel for everything until the next room service We came here to celebrate my birthday, and we didn’t mention it but I believe when they took our details at check-in desk they noted it down, cause on my birthday I came to this cute little surprise with an actual chocolate cake saved in the fridge. They are so considerate and pay attention to all the details. I can give this place justice to how kind and friendly the people were and how much fun our stay was. Thank you Westin Phuket we hope to come back again 💜

Its not recommended to stay here with family. Very inconvenient as its in the outskirts. No shops around this place and you will have to rely on their "paid" taxi service even to visit a 7-11 nearby. Not sure how it got 4.4 rating in google! Indian food was pathetic here and can't get even a 3 star rating (but its a 5-star resort). And the staff was extremely unfriendly, very late in providing the food and also its not that good for the price they quote. Most irritating one was their buggy service that is really needed to go up and down (room to reception/inhouse restaurant). We had to wait for more than 15 minutes and again they were not that friendly once you call more than twice. We had to call as we were getting late! Pros: Good view from room, beach nearby with free kayaking

Embark on a scenic journey from Phuket airport to the hotel, a mere hour's drive that sets the stage for the enchantment awaiting you. As you lay eyes upon the hotel for the first time, be prepared to surrender your heart to its captivating allure. With a trio of exquisite restaurants, the culinary offerings are a symphony of delight, complemented by a staff whose warmth and excellence weave an unforgettable tapestry of hospitality. Upon stepping into my room, there was a slight mishap but I was upgraded to an even more wondrous abode. And then, the views – ah, the views – they paint a vista of such breathtaking grandeur that words themselves falter in their attempt to capture it all.

Loved the place overall. Really nicely done resort, looks very fresh and new, the staff is particularly nice and friendly (our compliments to Poom that checked us in and took care of our plan for the stay overall). We stayed in a private villa with a pool and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The rooms were really well done. While it’s a hilly property, they have electric cars to ferry you around and they are very easily available. Food rates were competitive and their Thai preparations are a must try. Their head chef went out of the way to accommodate allergies for my parents. Bit away from the city - Which is good. If you like to go out a lot, you’ll have to rely on taxis or the hotel shuttles. Full marks for everything else

Gorgeous hotel! It’s great it you want to just got relax and stay on the resort. The spa offered literally the best massage I’ve ever had. If you want to do activities expect a lot of time in the car because I noticed we were a little far from everything, except old town. The market there is only on Sundays and is huge. It was very cool! The staff were very friendly. The offer free classes like yoga and Tai chi. They also have free kayaking and paddle boarding on their private beach.

Such an amazing experience! We had the best time ever enjoying the remarkable scenery, generous breakfast, and clean swimming pools. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, large and had the best view ever. You can take a buggy everytime you want to go to your room. There are three restaurants with several cuisines and halal options They have daily shuttle for patong beach and old Phucket city. The experience was amazing so we will definitely return.

Some highlights of our very short stay * Property/location: we stayed there for a couple nights, to use it as a boat transfer location for Ko Phi Phi islands. This is a short distance from the ferry terminal. * Our welcome was world class - garlands, welcome drinks and some live music playing * The property itself is so huge, that they drive you around in a golf cart. I don't remember any restaurants or shops nearby. * Our room had the infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Evening sunset was spectacular, which we watched from the pool. My son, to this day, talks about that experience! * We ordered room service. Nothing remarkable about it. * Our room was huge and had a separate bedroom. For the price we paid, the luxury we got, facilities we get to use, the hospitality they provide is unmatched! Worth every penny.

Hotel : Hotel is quite spacious. You will need to take the buggy from the reception area to your room. It is very nice if you like long walks. May not be so suitable if you are disabled or have problems with mobility. Service : Hotel appeared to be understaffed. Nevertheless, existing staff were well trained and service levels were excellent and deserving of commendation. Location: Quiet and secluded. Quite a distance away from popular locations. May not be suitable if you are looking to move around Phuket. Shuttle buses are provided to Phuket Old Town at certain intervals. Rooms: Room had an amazing view. Although a bit dated, room was still in an acceptable condition. First room allocated to me was leaking. But, I was quickly allocated a new room when the problem was not resolved. Verdict : A good Hotel to visit if you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Compound is spacious and the environment is clean and beautiful. May not be so suitable if you are coming on a vacation with elderly or disabled visitors.

You can tell this used to be an amazing hotel. The location on the side of a hill is really impressive, with the facilities built out at multiple levels. The villas are cool, the staff is very friendly and generally attentive. However, the facilities are a bit dated, only partially staffed and running. For example some of what must have been cool water features clearly haven't been operational in a long time and the hotel store no longer exists and so you have to go into town if you forgot anything. It's close to old town but situated away from the popular beach areas and the beach at the hotel is not attractive. My biggest frustration is that nothing can be charged to the room, which means I was being pressed for a credit card while in the pool, at the pool bar.

Resort was good and staff were very polite albeit a couple of them at reception felt very new/junior. The wait for the buggy was generally quite quick, we had breakfast a couple of mornings and it had a good selection but was quite average. We had dinner a couple of nights and the portion size was surprisingly small although the taste was good, especially the chicken wings 😋. The happy hour drinks were by far the most reasonably priced aspect. The design of the rooms having adjoining pools is somewhat strange but luckily we never had groups partying so didn't bother us, however I think this is very hit and miss. Overall 4/5. Wasn't a wow resort but no huge painpoints either.

Visited the Westin for 4 days on a business event. The grounds are quite big and scattered around small hill. There is a baggy car that will take you everywhere, or you can venture taking the steps. There a small beach accessible through the resort which is secluded or if you fancy you have several pool options and jacuzzi to choose from. The rooms are spacious with a balcony and a large bathroom and the staff was helpful and accommodating.

We got back here after 6 years with our son this time. Place is peaceful away from popular beaches. Downside is the sea obviously, but we could catch a clear water once during our stay, all other times, went south exploring new shores. Rooms are cozy, views are stunning - take a sea view room if you can, you always want to have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on that balcony. The white tea bath amenities make you wanna take a bath few times a day. Beds were a bit outdated, some parts where a person usually sleeps were caved in. Staff is super friendly and welcoming, assisting with all the needs. Food is good, we really enjoyed breakfast, especially those signature pancakes with pineapple, but we always went out for some gastro adventure. We will always come back to this hotel.

Had a lovely stay here in their pool access room. Service is great with everything to be expected from a 5 star hotel, though it does seem like a bit aged. Small things like cracks on tiles or chipped wooden cabinets and such. I’m not too fussy but it does seem like a refurbishment is in order. Do note the pool access is shared between two rooms so it’s not completely private, unlike in their villa rooms. This didn’t seem obvious to me from pictures on the website. The overall location is quite good, hidden away from the busier parts of phuket, so great for peace and privacy. However, getting around will require your own rental or taxi. Tried calling a grab from the hotel for half an hour at least and it was quite impossible. The hotel is quite huge and is located on hilly terrain so getting around will require some effort. They do provide free buggy service which is a nice novelty. The hotel has a small private beach, which did not have the fluffiest white sand or the clearest water. But it was private and mostly calm, so great for water activities. The hotel does provide amenities on the beach such as towels and equipment for activities like kayak and stand up paddling. Breakfast spread is expansive and sumptuous. The selections do vary very slightly from day to day so that’s great. Overall, very satisfied with my stay here.

WOW. After arriving on the island of Phuket, my wife and I first tried the Hilton Arcadia resort. While the resort was OK, the rooms were a bit dated and in general the experience was overpriced. After arriving at the Westin, not only did our perception of Phuket change, but as did our experience in regards to our accommodations. The hotel is completely impeccable. The food is amazing, the bartenders make some of the best cocktails I’ve ever tried and I say that as somebody who has traveled to most continents. The beds are amongst the most comfortable I’ve ever had the privilege of sleeping in and my wife agrees. Even at the busiest of times, the staff goes above and beyond and does so quickly and efficiently. The rooms come well-stocked with amenities that our previous resort on the island constantly had to be called and requested for, or even charged extra for. I have zero complaints. Great work, Westin! While in Phuket, this is the only place to stay if you want to have the perfect vacation.

Unbeatable nature and ocean views with lots of privacy. 15 min ride from Phuket Old Town for shopping and massage. Can see sunset from room and private pool. Staff is very polite and helpful. Luxury hotel. Minor downside is the room furniture is dated. But it is well kept and clean.

Overall, the service was amazing. We upgraded to a suite with a pool without any issues, however, were told we would get one price but charged another. The location is definitely not great as it is far from areas in which sell souvenirs. Old town does not have much at all to offer. Food is okay. The biggest issue for us is that while this is a well known resort, they did not upkeep their area of the beach. There was trash all over the place and also in the ocean. It was very disgusting and we could not enjoy the beach part as we did not want to swim in garbage. This was incredibly sad to see. The Westin needs to allocate resources to cleaning this up.

Lovely big hotel in Phuket. Marriott s breakfast are phenomenal. There’s everything for everyone. Big and small, savoury or salty. Big room. Restaurant was cooking great food. Haven’t unfortunately tried the Italian one. Great cocktails and the infinity pool give you the best look of the sunset. The beach access isn’t fantastic.

Hotel is nice, can't complain about rooms or other areas. Staff are very friendly and lovely. Only downside is everything is extremely overpriced. Even beer is more expensive than London. The hotel is also slightly isolated but not that far from old town.

Stayed here for 10 days as was there for a 3 day conference. The location is magical and the place is huge. # pools to choose from. The food was amazing and so fresh. The staff were so friendly and accomodating. Had a few massages at the SPA which were so very good. The beach was lovely and the water so very warm. #letsguide #thailand

Hotel was great! Went through an unexpected loss of a passport and the hotel staff went above and beyond to help us out. They provided us with a lot of additional information and even arranged a taxi to help solve our issues. Breakfast buffet was amazing! The views were beautiful.

  • 3/5 Korey R. 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful views..I will admit that part. Unfortunately the rooms itself need a major renovation. Plugs didn't work, the safe broke, the shower had a glitch where the overhead would constantly shut off, the sink was set up where the faucet part was applied awkwardly and water would always flow out of the actual sink leading to water spilling on the floor...we needed to use a cloth near faucet to attempt to avoid. The pool areas were dead...no music no staff....literally no one. The beach is filled with stones so water shoes are a must. Location is about 45min from nightlife. So keep that in mind. The location was appropriate for us due to our day trip to Phi Phi Islands. So it's a matter of what you plan on doing. The food buffet was good at breakfast and dinner...lunch not so much. Overall an average experience at best.

First of all, super friendly and patient staff. We are very welcomed by them, especially our 1 year old daughter. Special thanks to Hongzi who worked at the buffet restaurant :). We miss this place! Nice food and daily variety, also in activities. Stunning views. Great rooms, classic!

Okay hotel! A bit far from the town and you have to take a taxi. The rooms are nice, but you need to Be transported with golf cart from the room to the reception (or walk if you want a hill workout 😂) the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is nice with a lot of local options and “regular” options. Even a cooking station for your eggs.

Stayed at Westin for a week for my honeymoon. Impeccable service, lovely hotel. There was a few issues with our room so they changed our room and complimentary upgraded us too which was nice. The only issues I have is 1. Breakfast selection I didn’t think was great. 2. Location, close to Phuket old town but far from anywhere else however this is something we should have researched prior to booking. Lastly, as this was our honeymoon it would have been nice to have some sort of decor to welcome us but there was nothing. Again, cannot fault the service at all. Buggy’s are a life saver to get around the resort

Great resort, I would say it's underrated compared to other options, rooms are huge and I found it's distance from Patong and other major touristy areas a plus point as it was quite and serene. Ocean view from the rooms is great, beach isn't that great but decent. Bolt and Grab worked like a charm, no issue finding a taxi to anywhere. All the reviews had me concerned but it was a pleasant surprise.

Great memories begin here at Westin Siray. Ideal location for a relaxing holiday in vibrant colourful Phuket. We enjoyed starting from the time we stepped in till the point when we left Westin Siray. The breakfast was complete with a delicious selection of fresh fruits and juices. Perfect friendly service in the restaurant area. We took a room with a pool, which was ideal for the kids. Everything was in good condition. Perfect views of the lush green bay and the open sky. If we visit Phuket again, then we will definitely stay at Westin.

Simply amazing! Great view, spacious room, and generous breakfast spread. A lot of buggies within the compound to shuttle you around - and despite your high fitness level please utilize the buggy instead of walking. Super friendly buggy drivers/bell boys, receptionists, and waiters at Seasonal Taste. Their hospitality is top notch and definitely 5-star worthy. The resort also have a private beach which definitely not as crowded as the likes of Patong, Kata, Karon beach. However, it's just a small man-made beach I believe but good enough. In terms of location, it may take an hour drive to reach the famous beaches but acceptable considering the room rates. However, Phuket Town is just a stone throw away and do utilize this chance to explore the underated places on the island.

Just a simply stunning resort. Great food, great service. The views are second to none on the island. Nice and quiet tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The pool is top notch. Just an excellent getaway!

  • 3/5 Gaby B. 1 year ago on Google
While the rooms were large and comfortable the hotel is dated. The layout of the resort requires a golf cart to be called every time you want to leave the room. When trying to walk the signage is lacking. The beach is kept spotless but it's not a great swimming beach. The pools were the best place to kick back and relax. The jacuzzis are just smaller gathering spaces and have no temperature variation from the pools. Food was good at restaurants although the service was slow.

Booked the room+dinner package. It was a great stay with my family! Although the rooms were slightly old, they are well maintained. Cleanliness of the rooms could have been a little better, hence the 4 stars. Buffet breakfast spread was good and very tasty. Dinner options we great too, I must compliment the head chef and restaurant team on their management to cater yummy dishes specially for some of my family members who are vegetarians. Thank you Westin SirayBay

If you mind to see some bug and lizard thinks again .. but rest assured cause the got a special guy to handle this when they inside your room. Rooms are a bit old but still clean and looks super good. View is something else.. so beautiful from the room and swimming pool So quite and clear at night

The bay view is not beautiful and full of ugly buildings. So called Ocean view but feel like a lake. I paid for 2 persons breakfast rates. As I am by myself hotel receptionist said I could not enter the buffet breakfast twice !! It is very mean. I told the reception I wake up early for exercise and liked to have a coffee or a bread then another round after exercise. This is very mean and blunt. Luckily I booked only 5 nights then I move to another hotel. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. No wonder the atmosphere of the hotel looks so stale.

nice property, needs a little TLC thou. and some common sense things like shower at the pool, and not a three stories below. but the worse thing is the beach. it is not nice, neither the water nor the beach itself. not sure why someone would build this grand property on such an unattractive beach out of places in Phuket. But service, food, and rooms are pretty 5 star. Also quite a bit of climbing is involved if you are residing on the upper units.

We had a truly great experience at the Westin. The staff is super friendly, professional and going the extra mile for their customers. The breakfast is just amazing with a lot of choice in food and beverages with slight changes everyday and eggs made to order. The location is quite nice and quiet and feels isolated but it is 15min from old Phuket (300THB one way by taxi). The beach could be nicer and better maintained, And the water is brownish, so most people end up in the main pool which is nicely designed. The resort is nested on a hill so there could be quite a lot of steps but you can always ask the concierge for a ride. The restaurant is good although quite expensive. Rooms are big with a nice view but it can be quite noisy depending on your neighbors. And last but not least the resort offers a free shuttle into old Phuket every day (they also offer a 1150THB transfer to and from the airport). We stayed 7 nights and we were quite sad to leave.
