Great gym in Royal Phuket City Hotel near the old town. The staff are lovely. They sell protein drinks at the bar and you can purchase salad and sandwiches too of you want. The gym equipment is well maintained and there are PT's available usually doing 1 to 1 sessions. There was a group of elderly men that visited almost every day and we overheard them making quite disparaging and misogynistic comments. They rolled their eyes a lot and one guy seemed to think he owned the gym. He was quite antagonistic and very condescending to the point I felt very uncomfortable. Life is too short to deal with people like that so I was glad to move in in the end. Anyway, it's a decent gym, nice changing rooms and hot showers, hairdryers, changing cubicles, etc. Outside there is a pool but there's no sunbeds aside from a couple. You'll need a mat or a lilo if you want to sunbathe.

Very good gym. They have almost everything should have in the gym. Is expensive but you get what you pay. Staff and personal trainer are helpful and friendly. The equipments may not be very new buy very clean. It is inside a five stars hotel Royal phuket city, so i felt very secure and no funny people here🤭.I think this is the best gym in town!😉

This being my first gym experience I think it is pretty good. I joined this one based on other reviews. Has lots of equipment and several different classes offered am and pm. Juice and protein drinks bar in the gym. Free bottle water from dispenser. Nice pool. Towels provided along with body wash in the showers and hair dryer. 4 stars since there is rarely hot water in showers and of late the air-con in the cycling class isn't working properly, so it's been too hot, 26-27c, in there right at the beginning. I get hot easily so this is an issue for me to not overheat during workouts. You can get 10% off at the massage spa, on the same floor, if you have gym membership. Staff is friendly and knows English somewhat. Gym and bathrooms are clean. Has nice little lounge area and recently the Phuket News paper. You can also earn points for drink discounts.

Gym has everything you need for 200bath with entrance to a pool a towels included. Its a good price. The shower and locker are a bit old, but for me that was not a problem.

This is a pretty good gym and worth a visit if you want to workout in Phuket town. Month pass is good value at 1500b but the day pass is quite expensive at 350b. I was given a locker key and large towel upon payment. The gym itself is large, spacious and well equipped. Definitely everything you need for a good workout. The music isn’t too loud like most places, and the staff are really friendly. Free drinking water is available. Steam room and sauna are included in the price but tbh, like the changing rooms, are in need of a little maintenance and don’t add much to the experience. I wasn’t inspired to check out the pool, which is also included in the price, after being unimpressed with the lack of heat in the sauna. Nonetheless, a decent place to workout if you’re staying nearby.

A bit expensive but it worth the price that includes gym (with new equipment), classes, swimming pool, sauna and steam room, clean towels, free coffee and tea

They have all the necessary equipment, dumbbells etc. There is an outdoor pool, a sauna, and a steam room. The view from the pool area is good, and sometimes you can hear live piano and vocal music coming from the lobby.

350 baht for gym and pool. There is a steam room and sauna in one of the locker rooms. Gym is small enough but has a lot of equipment.

Great gym with amazing range of classes. Located inside the Royal Phuket City Hotel. Absolutely love the Yoga and Zumba classes. Just 1500 THB per month and you can attend all classes or just use the gym or both.

A bit more expensive than other reviewers mentioned. It is actually 350 baht for a day pass (not 200) so I guess they almost doubled the price since those other reviews were posted. The gym is on the 3rd floor of the hotel. The equipment is generally fine with bench press/incline/decline BPs. But most of the barbells are the lighter type (10kg?) and some of the equipment is a bit flimsy (including the squat rack) and feels like it might not handle a large amount of weight. They are missing some relatively important machines such as captain's chair/free weight dip (there is an assisted dip machine though). Overall it's relatively fine for a light work-out but for the amount you pay you'd probably be better off sticking to your hotel gym or finding somewhere else.

Four or five generations of equipment all around, even in the corridor outside the gym. But the locker room and shower are still the first generation when they opened 30 years ago. And of course not working.... It needs a big cleaning and restoration... They don't even offer a free trial day, simply because they already know people isn't coming back....

Very good place for gym activities. Gym is full of different equipment. For entrance price they will give you a towel, small towel and locker. You can jump into the pool after training and have a shower afterwards. Price is quite high for 1 day entry, but they offer a lot for that. So its okay to try it. Best price options if you take 1 week or 1 month entrance tickets. Best gym in Phuket city for sure!

350 baht for a day pass, 800 for a week. Great gym with nice facilities and the passes include a swimming pool, steam room, sauna and lockers.

Great location, very good staff. Problem is no facility management. Lockers falling apart, sauna room floor broken, seats not fixed, etc. Lots of old equipment, its clean, just old and tired like all the facilities there. I expect it to be sparkling with recent upgrades for the price. There appears to be no long term investment in the place. Still you can get a good workout, and its a great location. Nice pool.

200 baht for a single entry, classes going on, plenty of machines and weights to use. I would go again

Very nice. Proper rowing machine. Kinda expensive but they’ve got a pool too and sauna.. and you can enter anytime again during the day.

It's cool. Got the equipment everything. The day pass is 350 baht. Little expensive but has a lot of things.

Power rack, oly size iron weight plates and 20kg barbells, enough to keep you from losing your gains on vacation.

Everything you need in a gym plus a sauna. Though, I found out the hard way that flip flops are not allowed... The peanut butter protein shake is highly recommended. One weird thing was that the cleaning lady kept coming into the locker room while we were changing.
