( the owner was rude & took our food away ) This was my first day review : I think it is one of the best restaurants in this side of phuket. A bit pricey for Thailand but still worth it. In the Second day this happened : we went back for the breakfast buffet which was advertised to be 199 BHT only & if you want a drink you pay separately. After checking the options we decided to take it. We started to get our food & ordered 1 Tea !! the waiter came later & said that we ordered only one drink! & We must order an other one !! We tried to understand if it was a must or optional, then she showed us that it was written on the buffet instructions. So I was like : if this is a must to buy, then why you wrote the buffet costs 199 BHT ?!! Then an other guy came ( I think the manager or the owner ) & told him that we only need one drink or we can cancel the drinks & take just the buffet if possible. He was like it is fine, normally we don't have such problems & he took the plates from our hands & left !! Could it be more rude than this !! I thought he will try to explain it better at least.

We had a great experience at Macaw, the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The menu was HUGE and they had everything you can imagine (we struggled to decide). The food was fresh and well cooked. All around, a great place 👌🏼

Great place; staff were incredibly lovely and super welcoming! Great selection of food for dinner buffet. 299THB per person however two stipulations which are written very small in the T&Cs i) each customer must purchase a drink and ii) prices do not include 7% VAT. The only significant point lost is the bathroom is rather grimy. It's not actually within the restaurant building; it is outside and they share with another Cafe.

My friend and I dined here one nighti for the 299 baht all you can eat buffet. Macaw is spitting distance from Rawai Beach and the decor and general ambience make for a very pleasant evening. Firstly, we were warmly welcomed by staff and were shown to our table, which was in the air conditioned section of the restaurant. You can choose to sit in the fan cooled, open air part on the opposite side if you wish. There is a wide selection of food available at Macaw, mostly non Thai dishes. Pizza, pasta, curry, stew, spring rolls, rice, chicken skewers, beef patty's, salads and an assortment of other dishes are available. It would appear there were a range of foods to satisfy most people. For us, we found the food to be hit and miss. We enjoyed the salami pizza, but not the other pizza on offer. The pork stew was very nice but the butter chicken was awful, all you could taste was salt. The roasted potatoes were quite good but the mash potatoes were inedible, and so it went on. Does anyone in the kitchen sample the food before it goes out, we doubt it. We later moved to the open aired part of the restaurant and enjoyed a few beers overlooking the water. The large bottles of Leo beer were ridiculously expensive for a buffet at 165 baht each. We were going to have a scoop of ice cream each until we realised it was not included in the buffet and one scoop was nearly one hundred baht! The buffet, for two people with beers, came to just over 1500 baht, which includes 7% VAT. Overall very poor value we concluded. Major cards are accepted with a 3% surcharge. We must make mention that the staff were wonderful all night even though at times they appeared run off their feet. Due to the inconsisties of the food quality, and the exorbitant costs of items such as ice cream and beer we doubt we would go back.

The best salad bar! 🥗 I was surprised with generosity of PREMIUM INGREDIENTS like chia seeds, quinoa, tabuleh, quail eggs, sun dried tomatoes, pickled beets, slices olives both green and black and freshly made dressings! including Ranch, Caesar and Blue cheese ?? Incredible value for 200-300 baht. Service is impeccable. I look away for a moment - my empty plate is gone… but I’m fine using the same plate 🫶 I go here more often than anywhere else. Breakfast / Lunch or Dinner

I was just served raw chicken at this restaurant. Now all I can do is wait and see how bad the salmonella poisoning is when I was meant to be here for training Muay Thai and holiday. Being poisoned is never okay and this meat isn’t even close to being cooked. Staff where apologetic but the manager wasn’t available

Upmarket restaurant and beautifully decorated,and right on waters edge 👌 also very affordable with top quality ingredients. Loved all the dishes I tried. 😍

I don't normally do buffets but my friend recommended it to me... Amazing buffet I've been there 3 times for dinner now. Fantastic selection of foods Great service Decor very nice Live music perfect
