😠 On the beach, a man walk geese, which he hits with a stick when they try to get ashore. Geese swim in sea water for hours to entertain tourists. Geese are not seabirds! they also spread diseases! it's called animal cruelty. Children splash at the geese, grab them by the legs, and everyone has a lot... People often mention beach, water, beautiful, island, clear, Phuket, boat, baht, great, nice,

On the beach, a man walk geese, which he hits with a stick when they try to get ashore. Geese swim in sea water for hours to entertain tourists. Geese are not seabirds! they also spread diseases! it's called animal cruelty. Children splash at the geese, grab them by the legs, and everyone has a lot of fun and staying on the island is NOT FREE! just know this

Seafood is great, decor is great but imo the best part is the marine life that can be seen on a snorkeling or kayaking trip. Scuba is also available for the experienced. The reef is so close to the shore, they should call it Snorkel Beach :)

We took a boat ride to Banana beach and relaxed the entire day there. You have a lot of activities you can do! And the food they served was tasty! Would recommend a visit if you’re in Phuket.

Because of the current Covid restrictions, I found that everywhere we went had less people than I would expect, so my review is based on the fact that Banana Island wasn’t crowded at all. This was a gorgeous way to spend the day. We took a private long boat from Ra Wei (1500 baht, but we got him to throw in snorkel masks). Once there, you either pay 100baht or 300baht but then you get coupons to use that 300 for food/drink. We were able to claim one of those “Instagram” hanging lounges and spend the day snorkeling (lots of cool fish and sea urchins!), relaxing, and swimming. Definitely recommend.

We have a wonderful time there, water is super clear, so many colourful fishes, the beach is clean and well-organised, the food there was great with reasonable price! You have to pay 100 baht when you arrive the beach, that price including toilet and shower, think it’s worth to pay for it!

This is a very nice beach with amazing soft sand and beautiful teal blue water just 30 minutes from Rawai beach by booking a private boat from 1200-1500 Baht. There is a fee of 100 Baht per person when you arrive on the island (not included in the boat fee), or for 300 Baht per person the staff will give you a voucher for the full amount to use for food, drink, water toys, beach chairs, massage etc. But please note the following: About 2/3 of the beach is covered with rocks in the shallows. Meaning as you are facing the sea, only the 1/3 left hand side of the beach is useable for swimming or lounging. Another 1/3 is for the boats to dock and the other 1/3 is best suited for snorkeling. I highly highly recommend wearing water shoes (purchase beforehand). Also at low tide there are many sea urchins in the shallows. The day I was there I stepped on two of them simultaneously and ended up with 10-14 sea urchin spines or thorns (needles) in one foot and 6-8 in another. Please be very careful as there are no warning signs posted about this or the rocks, and watch your children too. And wear the above-mentioned water shoes to protect your feet. Also, returning to Rawai beach at low tide means the boat will dock far out in the after and you will easily have a 1/2 kilometer walk back to the beach in knee-deep water. Plan ahead.

The island was beautiful and happy to pay the 100 baht fee for use of the chairs and toilets. Water was clear but why I give such a low rating was the fact that there was so much rubbish on the beach especially it being a serviced island. Disappointing really. Was also obvious that they were burning the plastic rubbish on the island as well. banana beach you can do better. Even phi Phi island didn’t have this much rubbish 😢

It is a short straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and white fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. Banana Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.

Beautiful beach with clear water, stopped here after as part of a excursion. Sand was so fine and white. Our scuba instructor said it was to do with the fishes poop! There was some nice little bars to get refreshments and a rocky trail that led to other side of the island.

It's just a small beach surrounded with lots of trees🌴🌴🌴, they also have small places for drink and food even you can get beer 🍻. It's a beach for the day when you just want to chill and do nothing. It's also a family beach 🏖️. It also gets crowded during the afternoon. If you are staying near Naithon beach, banana beach also can be an alternative beach for you. You can rent a kayak from two shops that are available, but nothing else. It's a cool beautiful beach with less activity. Bonus - evening sunset is more enjoyable here then Naithon beach 🏖️.

Very pretty but the service is poor, they are clearly understaffed. Saw two different occasions of food arriving an hour late, with people leaving angry not wanting to pay

Lovely beach. Tourist “trap” but worth the visit. Entrance fee is 100 baht for just beach chair and bathroom access, if you pay 300 baht you get same amount back in coupons to purchase food and drinks

I booked the premium day trip package and it was one of the most amazing experience I’ve had in Phuket. Our guide was so lovely and helpful , she was one of the best guides ever. The Koh hey Island was so peaceful and beautiful. The corals in the back of the island where we did snorkelling was probably the most beautiful ones ive seen in all the islands I visited in my trip. Don't miss this if you ever go to Phuket

Crystal clear waters. For those who snorkel, there are a wealth of beautiful fish. Though pricey, the food is great at the one restaurant available (love the tamarind shrimp and the chili lime steamed fish). Plenty of activities for the whole family. A great way to spend a day in Phuket.

Idyllic beach you can snorkel at and see fish and coral. There is also a giant swing you can pay to use. Get a private boat from Ra Wai beach here. The sea is amazingly blue and clear.

Rude staff. Expensive bar. You have to pay to use the beach. Lots of fish that bite you in the sea. Children would not go into the water because of them.

Good experience with tata the tour guide. Amazing time we had. The parasailing was super fun! Food was good too. If you happen to come phuket, go to banana beach. It’s so good and relax.

We took a trip with alex from banana beach koh hey. She is very nice! The food was great. They picked us from the hotel and drove us back as well. There was enough time to do sport attractions and also enjoy the beach for swimming and resting. We advice to check the weather a day before because snorkeling and kayaking aren’t always possible due to weather conditions. Alex took care of us and they made sure we are having fun!

Beach is beautiful. Downsides are that boats are too close and some tourists are smoking non stop when shouldn't be allowed. Staff makes you pay service fees but they don't check if people are smoking so you need to expose yourself to these monkeys.

Extremely beautiful hidden gem! Phuket has many really beautiful beaches but this one is just spectacular, clear waters, white sands and very peaceful.
