Located in Raytown (short drive outside of KC), you'll find an awesome, family owned brewery that offers tours, tasty drinks, food truck options, and a place to park your bicycle (right next to a trail). The beer was delicious and the tour guide was very knowledgeable & passionate. Try a slushie while you are there!

MacKenzie, Christopher, and Michael and the rest of the Crane staff are awesome! We hosted a business owners after hours event in their private room. Plenty of space for upwards of 100 people. Video projector and a dedicated bartender too. Everyone was super accommodating and made sure that we got the best value. We will plan another event there in the near future!

A nice place to visit along the bike path. They have many different brews. There is nice indoor and outdoor seating. If you bring your kids, they have a nice selection of board games. If you come on Friday or Saturday evenings harps BBQ is there. Otherwise they have a taco truck there.

Fantastic experience at Crane. Great little spot with a warm interior. Really long bar, which is great when you are a single. Beers were fantastic! C5 (Cryogenic) was amazing, but my favorite was a dry hopped orange gose. They have a set of cans that you can buy and you can mix and match.

If you like sour beers then this is a must try. If not there are plenty of other options. My favorite was the Red Velvet Donut Stout. There is also a great walking/biking trail right next to the brewery.

Please check this place out. Good quality brewing. Great assortment of beers. Best lemonade I've ever had. Good food with the taco truck daily and Harps BBQ on the weekends.

I've enjoyed visiting the taproom and buying their beers for several years now and plan to continue. Attended the Easter Egg hunt today. Was fun, just not enough eggs. Also! Tried Rock Island coffee and loved it!! The Cinnanilla is amazing! Here for the Blackhole bakery pairing. It is delicious!!!!

We had an excellent time at Crane. The space is small, and even more restricted due to COVID safety guidelines. The staff were masked and otherwise following safety guidelines. They do have the rolling garage doors to open it up, and they also have patio seating when the weather cooperates with each. We had three beers each, and liked them all. I've always thought Crane brewed almost exclusively sour beers, and was glad to find they have been able to expand that to accommodate other palates. We each had three beers and liked them all. We had some chips and salsa to snack on while having most of our beers; and once our order from Harp BBQ next door was ready, we brought that into Crane to enjoy with another beer. The entrance and restrooms are semi-accessible. Restrooms are gender specific. There isn't really dedicated parking, but there's plenty of street parking as this is in an underused business area.

This is our second time here for an adult egg hunt. Super fun place to go have a few beers. Very unique flavors that change often

I don’t drink beer but my husband enjoys the brews at Crane. Crane only has two kinds of wineβ€”red and white. They have a couple of cocktails. There should be more drink choices for non-beer drinkers. Most other breweries have more choices. And the gravel parking lot is terrible. Even the outside picnic tables sit in gravel. The amenities other than beer should be addressed.

Had an Odd Bird @CraneBrewing. It was a beautiful day on the Rock Island trail. The beer was delicious!

This place ROCKS! Their beer selection is a SOLID variety ranging from juicy IPAs to smooth porters with rotations on tap and some of the BEST alcoholic slushies around! Food trucks out front and a coffee shop on the weekends make it a perfect stop on the adjacent bike path! The bartenders are always helpful and happy to serve so definitely stop in for a few drinks if you're still on the fence!

Lovely little pub! Local in house beer that's has a flavor for everyone. We went on the pop up bar that was Ted Lasso themed. Had a great time. Great staff!

Crane does sours very well. In the Spring and Summer, their Berliner Weiss styles are very nice. They struggle with other styles. Even the good ones aren't true to the style. For example, the Mexican Lager I'm having now tastes like a watery wit. They're with the visit though, especially if you're biking the trail that goes right by. Crane is my local brewery, so I want them to do well. OTOH, I'm a beer aficionado, amateur brewer, and well-travelled taster so i know my beer styles. In fact, if Crane could come even close to the Berliner Weiss you can get in northern Germany with the raspberry syrup in the bottom, I'd be in here every day. ;-)

Kyle, Eddie and Alex are also amazing! The more I come here the more I wanna come back! I thank everyone for being so welcoming! Leslie and Guapo are the bees knees! 🐝 They are both amazing, phenomenal and need a raise if possible. They are personable and make you feel like you need to come back. After one visit this was the place to kick it anytime I could.

One of my favorite breweries in KC area. I'm a big fan of sours, especially in the summer. Crane makes several tasty sours to enjoy. It's situated right next to a biking trail and often has food trucks, though you can bring your own food. It's also dog friendly. I'm looking forward to more evenings here in the coming weeks.

We went on Saturday so we could get the brewery tour. The beer we ordered after the tour was great. The staff was terrific. It is obviously popular with cyclists, because there was a steady stream of them coming through during our time there.

First time visiting since I moved away ten years ago. My partner and I parked by the brewery then walked the trail for a couple of hours. We finished back at the car, grabbed some food from the taco truck, and had a beer each. Both were excellent. Great people, clean bathrooms, lots of posted activities with current dates! We will be back!

Absolutely LOVE this brewery. Pick up beer every time I'm in KC. Wish I could get the farmhouse ale in MN. Mike the bartender was awesome when I finally got to experience the brewery in person!
