On boxing day we got snowed into Revelstoke on our way to Alberta for the holidays and it was probably the highlight of our trip! We wouldn’t have visited Quartermaster otherwise! With small seasonal menus- quartermaster does not miss! Even when our sturgeon came out slightly over, the GM Nick was quick to make it right with a new fish and pleasant conversation! He is excellent with his guests and as people who work in the industry we definitely noticed. Our server was also so lovely giving us enough space to chat with each other. Now back to the food- the bison tartare was a highlight for us with house made crispy chips. For me the most outstanding plate was the root vegetable salad from rutabaga and turnip. So balanced in savoury and fresh! Yum! They call it the best restaurant in Revelstoke for a reason. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to eat well on your next ski trip. If you’re with a big group they offer a rib eye platter (for 2 but could feed 4!) that stays on the menu year round. Something else to note; they shop/grow local and if we had cocktails we would’ve enjoyed herbs infused and grown by the mixologist themselves! Cheers! We can’t wait to come back! :)

Like a few other reviewers have mentioned we were not expecting this amazing meal from a restaurant in Revelstoke, a true gem! The space is cozy and warm, and the staff friendly. The menus was excellently curated, and all in season. The root vegetable ceased salad was phenomenal, and the sturgeon and duck dishes blew us away. We will definitely be back.

I came here when I first got to Revelstoke based on the reviews. Not sure why this place got such high reviews when the food wasn't that great. Over priced and bland. Service was great and fast but other than that, I wouldn't come back. The steak has no taste at all, the best thing that night was the chips that came with the bison Tatare.

I went there last week with my boyfriend for my birthday. I would say, this was my first and the best experience ever. The foods there were amazing. The display itself and the taste that made me almost cry. I thought the cake was going to be super sweet (last picture), but surprisingly this was the first time in a fine dine restaurant that I finished the entire cake because it wasn’t too sweet and it has a bit of citrus to make the cake so refreshing. Strongly recommended restaurant to try it with no regret!!!!

No words can describe how AMAZING the food is. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. We went there during our one week vacation 3 times and if they wouldn’t have closed on Monday/Tuesday we would have been there again. The chef is very creative with the menu and the combinations are perfect. Whoever the chef is, he definitely knows what he is doing. The service and the atmosphere were great as well. Our waitress Brie was very friendly, funny and professional and we had so much fun. The cocktails are not from this world. All in all one of the best restaurants we ever visited.

We have heard many great things about the place from friends, but we were a little bit disappointed. The menu had a lot of great options, but we unfortunately found the food to be a bit bland. Everything seemed to be a bit under seasoned. We just expected a bit more considering the prices of the food and the vibes the place is going for. The cocktails were really good - there was some really cool choices on the menu and the prices were standard. Service was fantastic as well. It was a fun adventure trying to get to the bathrooms!

i came to revelstoke for a solo adventure and sought out a place to take myself on a date with a book. upon a quick google search, quartermaster eatery ended up at the top of my list, and i felt lucky that it was. it seems it's either one or the other: food is great, service is lackluster; food is lackluster, service is great. quartermaster eatery promises you both the most wonderful food & service. the staff are intentional and the food so beautifully displayed. truly couldn't have asked for a better experience and better company on a solo trip!

Amazing meal in a place we didn't expect it. If this were closer to our home town, we'd be regulars! We'd been traveling for a week thru Canada and decided to "go big" one nite, We dressed up and sat at the bar and were well taken care of by Erica & Hazy. Everything was perfect. The mixed craft cocktails, their wine recommendations, the dinner suggestions, portions and service. The rabbit was outstanding, as was the lemon Chantilly dessert! It was all absolutely wonderful. What a special evening!

Honestly, I had an amazing meal here (pork, but stole some chicken from my dates plate) with 3 different, incredible cocktails, all kicked off by a wicked appetizer (beets). Great food, service, and atmosphere

Did not expect such a lovely dining experience in Revelstoke! Urban city dwellers will be well taken care of with the attentive staff, unique drinks, and high quality food. The menu had great pairings of modern and well presented, yet unpretentious plates. Do yourself a favour and book a reservation at Quartermaster when in Revelstoke if you’re looking for an elevated dinner, date night, or special occasion meal.

It's not very often that I find a restaurant that exceeds my expectations on all fronts, but Quartermaster did just that. The menu is small but thoughtfully composed. We had the chicken and the celeriac. Both dishes were interesting, extremely flavorful, and well balanced. Cocktails were likewise excellent, as was the service. The dessert menu could use more variety, but the dessert we had was well prepared. You'd pay substantially more for a lesser experience at many other fine dining restaurants.

Wow, the Quartermaster Eatery is an all-around phenomenal dining experience! Our server’s recommendations were right on the money. We had the smoked peach bourbon sours to sip- had to order a second round they were so good! Then to start we shared the halibut cheeks (see photo), followed by the BC sturgeon entree, and indulged in the scrumptious salted caramel brownie to finish off! A 10/10 experience, we certainly recommend that you dine here when in Revelstoke.

It was excellent. Great restaurant. We had a wonderful time, and we loved the whole experience. The kitchen did a great job. The food was delicious and perfect. The bartender is awesome. The cocktails were great. We’ll be back for sure.

The prices are certainly on the higher side and like many bars it tends to get a little noisy. However, the 32oz ribeyes we ordered was the best dish we had in a while! We were genuinely impressed of what this restaurant in a small had to offer
