Dr Janice was by far the most compassionate and caring Veterinarian that I have EVER met. She saved my cat. .. It was New Years eve and my cat wasn't doing so great. I was turned away from my regular vet and the emergency pet hospitals in the area were all full unwilling to take her in... It was recommended that I contact Arnold Crescent through Cannon Hill Animal hospital because they were at full capacity that day as well,.. Not only were they willing to take my cat in and be treated for here illness immediately but it was the care that they showed me for my best friend. Thank you so much Arnold Cres and especially Dr Janice who in my books will be a part of my family going forward :) Eternally grateful!

My 12 year old cat came in pretty much on her death bed with not much hope. Each and every vet took the time to give her love and care. They saved my girl Blaze, I highly recommend Arnold crescent. Amazing Staff!

This clinic cares more about making money then it does about the care of the animals. I have been coming here for over 10 years this is my second pet with them. The clinic used to be about providing good quality care now they just care about charging for everything because people are starting to realize there meds are 3 times the cost. That if you drive 15 mins down the road to the pet pharmacy in Thornhill you can save 2/3 of the cost. If I could give a negative rating I would. So disheartening to see the love for animals gone in this vet office. Highly recommend going some place that is for animals and not just for profits. REPSONSE TO OWNERS REPLY Thank you for your response to my feedback. I would like to first note to all readers of this review, the only reason I received a call and voicemail was because as you said in your voicemail " I left a bad google review for your clinic that's why your calling". I expressed my concern and shock that this clinic feels the need to charge $29 plus tax per item that requires a prescription. As per the VET I saw that continually suggested more and more drugs I realized your clinic was going to charge $145 plus tax for a prescription because your cost of meds are 2 x times higher then all your competitors. As per your VET it is clinic policy to write each drug on its own piece of paper so the clinic can charge per item. This has never been in the case in the past. Also the cost for a single prescription has increased 50% in a one year span. Didn't know paper costs increased so much with inflation. So to write a reply stating you care about your patients, clients and community seems untruthful. For if this was the case I would have received a call within a business day as that is what good customer service entails. I find it extremely insulting that you assume that clients who question your pricing automatically require financial aid. The assumption speaks volumes to the type of "snobby" atmosphere the clinic has created. Never knew questioning pricing automatically means a client can not afford services. Pricing should reflect not only the care of the animals but love and service that is provided to the pets and owners. Lastly, pricing was a final straw for me. Your office's poor communication, and lack of transparency during Covid-19 also lead me to seek out another clinic that truly cares about the animals not just their bank account.

I am new to the area and needed to find a new vet for my cat. I tried Arnold Crescent because of their positive Google reviews and because of their weekend availability. Every member of staff have been so kind to both myself and my pet. They have been very flexible and accommodating with scheduling, which has been a lifesaver. I would recommend them without hesitation.

In the last visit, they force me to buy a product for my dog (onesie) which was in smaller size. I noticed the issue right away and told them this doesn’t fit and give me a bigger size, she said no that is the size.Turns out it was the only size that they had and wanted to just sell it. They didn’t accept an exchange or refund afterward. I spent $850 for the surgery but they didn’t refund $15 useless item.

The receptionist literally saved my dog’s life. Upon exiting our Uber at the animal hospital, my wife and I lost our grip of our dog, and him being a husky, we couldn’t run fast enough to catch up with him. Our kind Uber driver helped us drive around looking for him, but we didn’t find him for over ten minutes, and we feared he had died because he always tries to run into traffic. We finally found him, but he kept us chasing him for another 10 minutes. At this point, we had called the hospital to tell them why we were missing our appointment, and one of its vet techs came out to help us search for him on foot. After trying that for 10 more minutes, we found that the receptionist had used her car to scout around and parked in the middle of the road so she could get out and managed to corner him in someone’s front yard. They gave us a free leash (aside from the one we already had) and tightened his harness for better comfort and safety. Both hospital employees waited with us until we could secure an Uber back home. Their dedication to their patients is stellar, and we are oh so grateful!

Super friendly amazing vet clinic, we saw Dr Willow she was amazing, our cat felt very comfortable with her and didn't stress at all. Great very honest clinic overall, really love them, we keep coming back and greatly recommend these doctors. Free parking at the back of the building is really nice to have too.

6 months later and I am still heartbroken. Dr Janice did everything she could to save my little guy, but the cancer got him. She is an incredible vet who had an impossible task.

I have given 4 stars because of the doctors and their staff, they are awesome! They treat my pet with a lot of care and attention which I love. I have reduced 1 star only for 2 reasons. 1. the price is a bit on the higher side as every time I visit them I am left with an invoice of at least 200$ for very basic things like an ear or paw infection check up. There should be a correction there as all pets deserve the highest care and many won’t be able to afford that kind of cost. 2. You always need to wait for the doctor for at least 20 minutes even if you get to the appointments on time. Please do space out the appointments to help the doctors get to their appointments on time.

To be completely transparent, switching vets during a pandemic when you are unable to meet in person and are limited in so many other ways probably did not serve them justice. However I had done extensive research since moving to Richmond Hill and had spoken to other dog owners and only heard great things about this "Dr. T". Yes, they are more expensive, but we were ready to get A+ service. We never got to meet Dr. T. though, and the vet we did meet was sweet and did her best so I have no qualms with her (will need to remember her name). What I am extremely unhappy with was the overall service from the rest of the practice. My fur-kid is one of the most kind-hearted dogs we've had the pleasure of existing with, but at this vet, I have heard her cry, and witnessed her leave with the "bat out of hell" pep to her step that had the staff struggling to trail behind as she exhausted herself pulling with all force on her way out of that place. Her nails were constantly trimmed as a "complimentary" service, but she was always bloody and clearly injured - and nobody ever said anything about it. We were only left to clean up the blood and hydrate the poor kid after her energy exertion post trauma. Because we've lived abroad, she has had to travel, and we have had to visit many vets, so we had really hoped to settle on a "home vet" who we can grow with...but after today's visit, we are on the hunt again. I have never heard my fur-kid cry like this from an anal gland "squeeze" and I refuse to take her there again.

My dog got sick and I was looking for an emergency vet as my regular one was closed. I phoned around and the way Tylor answered the phone he was very sympathetic. Then my dog who is almost 2 years old actually really liked Dr Johnson which was a surprise because she's a covid dog and doesn't go to people unless she knows them. I would give this clinic 10 plus stars but they only let me give 5.

Very pleased with the care for our senior dog, Max, a 12 year old Yorkshire Terrier with many health issues. In particular, I have high praise for Dr. Fabio Tarable who is a skilled surgeon and caring professional who takes time to explain in simple terms, the procedures to be undertaken. Highly recommend Dr. T for challenging cases that other Vet's might take a pass on.

Update: I re-considered my rating, as actual service was good. And I would recommend it. Yes, situation with grooming was not ideal, but there is a reasons for it. Original review: We used inly grooming service. We groomed every 8 weeks. And booked next same day we had current. It was good till next available grooming was in 14 weeks and then in 5 month. We stopped using their service as it became useless.

We were referred to Dr Tarable by another local Veterinarian. Our GSD had suffered trauma to his ear and Dr T and his staff were extremely helpful right from the start. Dr T was caring, knowledgeable, and compassionate. I will definitely bring my dog for any future visits to see him.

We love Arnold Crescent Animal Hospital! We have been bringing all of our family dogs there for years and have been so happy with the care from all the staff- but especially Dr. Dewey! He is the kindest and most knowledgeable vet. We are so thankful for him and the whole team! :)

The best vet we've ever been to. This is our third dog we're trusting in the care of Arnold crescent animal hospital. Recently we moved south to Toronto and gave a local clinic a try that came recommended. They were fine but we switched back to Arnold. It felt like going from a walk-in clinic to a family doctor :)

My dog Frizbee has been a patient at Arnold Crescent Animal Hospital since he’s a puppy and he is now almost 15 years old. We have always felt in good hands with all the vets and the whole extended team. The vets are all kind and caring and we feel Frizbee has been receiving the best care there. Also in our neighborhood so super convenient and open weekends and evenings which was always appreciated. We know as Frizbee continues to age we are in caring hands with vets who want to ensure Frizbee lives his best longest life.

From the first time I brought my cat to Arnold Crescent until the final end of life visit (fortunately many years later), the entire staff - from front of house to the vet techs to the Doctors - have treated me with respect and showered my old man cat with love. They have listened to my concerns, come up with workable solutions, and kept me fully informed all along the way. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

This is the hospital for our love little Cat baby. He is been going there since we adopted him when he was 4 weeks old. Dr willow is very nice and knowledgeable. Neutering was very smooth and he was back home the same day. Staff is extremely courteous. Highly recommended

Wonderful receptionists, assistants and vets. They explain things very thoroughly and handle my dogs with great care and patience. You can really tell they enjoy their job and enjoy helping patients rather than most vet clinics with terrible attitude/waiting for the shift to be over.

Been happily going to this clinic since 2015 or 2016. Dr. D and Dr. T are both excellent and now we are happily working with Dr. Willow to manage various issues across my clowder of senior cats. Receptionists like Rebecca are always great on the phone. 7 days a week / 12 hours open is hard to beat! They have managed to fit me in on very short notice and they normally keep slots open for same-day emergencies. You may not get your "usual" vet, but you'll see someone at the clinic you trust. I very much appreciate how I am always offered a range of care options as the clinic is mindful of pet parent budgets. Looking after a bunch of seniors means some are here for a good time, not a long time. There is never any pressure to take any extraordinary measures - unlike some other clinics I have been to in the past. No clinic is perfect. There has been one "hiccup" across the years (during Covid) where something was missed and another visit was necessary 24 hours later - but we continue to travel over 45 minutes to this clinic because they're excellent.

I have been meaning to write this review for a while. Dr Janice Hung is a fantastic veterinarian. She was so knowledgeable and caring when my dog Bear came in for stomach problems. I am to report he is feeling much better. I would highly recommend her and the clinic!

I had to find a new vet for my dog because my old vet had shut down his practice and my dog was feeling suddenly sick. I am so happy that we found Dr. Janice Hung. She was exceptional, really good at explaining the situation and always giving us updates, transparent about pricing and super understanding. Wish we had found her sooner! Also the staff were all nice, we unfortunately had to put my dog to sleep and they mailed me a handwritten signed card. Very sweet.

I recently had to put down the family cat of 20+ years and the staff were very kind and caring throughtout the process. They later sent me a sympathy card with a personal message that was signed by all the staff there which really meant alot. Thank you to all the staff there for doing what you do and making it more than just a job.

Now, I've given five stars but in reality I've never actually been inside. So why did I give five stars to this veterinary Clinic? I work just outside of their clinic and often see their clientele and the animals coming and going. Throughout the day, and into the evening, I look out and see dogs being walked by staff presumably veterinary technicians and when I say walked they're not just in and out they're giving a nice long enjoyable walk. The clientele - human ones - coming and going never seem upset and I am impressed with how clean and healthy the animals look when they are picked up from whatever it is they were there for. Being a professional horseman as well as an animal activist, I have worked with many vets and many clinics in different areas and to the best of my knowledge and from people I've spoken with in the area, this Clinic would be a place that I would take my pet to. Getting to the clinic is very simple there is a ton of parking at both the McConagy Center and behind Three Coins restaurant. I have no reason not to recommend this to anybody as I've heard from those I've talked to only very good things about this Clinic.

Thank you very much for seeing us on a short notice twice and during such difficult for us time. Even though our cat unfortunately passed away shortly after (Dr. Johnson told us that this will happen), we are most grateful for the compassion and understanding we received from everyone at your clinic. Also the care that Dr. Johnson offered eased our cat's last days. Thank you very much again for all your support.

Here from Alberta. Had to bring our old dog in. The vet, who we had never met before, and all the staff were so compassionate and caring. Can’t overstate how grateful we are to all of them. Our very sincere and heartfelt thanks for making the worst of times a little bit easier.

This clinic is so unique because it doesn’t matter which vet takes care of your pet you receive consistent great care. The reception is great and very knowledgeable , if they can’t answer a question they will have a tech or vet call you. We have taken our dog Rufus here for 10 years and have interacted with almost every vet. Dr T has hired some very talented vets and has 7 day coverage. Rufus runs into the clinic whether I am with him or not. Our latest experience with Dr Willow was fabulous, she took the time to explain and what’s more important LISTEN to my concerns. A follow up call to see if Rufus had recovered was a great touch. I would love to enter clinic with Rufus but understand and agree with policies that being said I have never hesitated in sending Rufus into clinic alone. He is with caring people. Thanks to Rebecca who always helps out with food orders , Jane for her advice and support and Alley and Dr T who have put together a great team. I apologize if I missed anyone. Whether Dr Mike, Dr T ,Dr Willow or Dr Dewey your pet is in great hands .

We had been taking our precious cat Cheeto to Arnold Crescent for almost 13 years. And there we found the best of the best: from Rebecca and Jayne in reception to Becky the vet tech to the lovely and capable Dr. Johnson to Dr. Dewey who cared for our boy for all of those years. Thank you Dr. Dewey for all of your knowledge, expertise and empathy. We will never foget our Cheeto but will take comfort in knowing he was always in capable hands at Arnold Credcenr Animal Hospital.

I recommend Arnold Crescent to everyone with a dog and the clients we have at K9 Acres. I especially tell people with large breed dogs that they are very experienced in working with the care of these dogs. I have used them for years and plan to continue go to them if needed in the further. The staff are great and the vets are great.

I recently had the pleasure of bringing my beloved pet to Arnold’s Crescent Animal Hospital, and I can't express enough how grateful I am for the exceptional care they provided. The veterinarians are true professionals who demonstrate genuine compassion for animals. They took the time to thoroughly examine my pet, explaining each step of the process and answering all my questions with patience and expertise. It's evident that the entire team provides the highest standard of care. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Arnold’s Crescent Animal Hospital to any pet owner seeking top-notch veterinary care. The genuine passion for animals, combined with a welcoming atmosphere and unparalleled professionalism, makes them stand out as a true gem in the community.

My cat Miumiu was diagnosed with lymphomaI cancer just two month before our moves to another country. It was such a frustrated moments with a lot of things going on, but I can greafully to say without Dr. Tarable and staff member's help I will not be able to sit here and share it with no heart broken. I was showing up at the hospital wanted to do a overall health check. Before I came here I had her checked out at another clinic but the vets there over looked her issues, I just wanted to have a scound opinion as taking flight is kind of a big deal. We quickly did bloodwork and the result come back on the next day, there was some concerns so we had ultrasound alomst on the same day when we find out her bloodwork might indicate cancer. Dr.Tarable did a great job by explaining it to me and it's truly helped me to accept such serious matter happens in a sudden. We received our treatment only a few days after, and Miumiu's respond to the medication is great, her newest bloodwork come back completely normal now. Sometimes I felt the medication can only help you to do half of the work, the other half comes from how you taking care around the illness. We had been taking goood care of from this hospital, they can do many tests in the house, such as they can do ultrasound on-site it makes diagnoses a lot quicker, and easier for sick or senior animals to do follow ups. Now for me, we are at home happily with Miumiu, everything has been setted down, she is doing great, our flight went smoothly thanks for the advice! Thanks for everything from Arnold Crescent Animal Hospital and Dr. Tarable, you guys did provide me great support and exceptional level of service!
