I
visited
the
walk
in
clinic
three
times
in
one
week.
Each
time
Dr
Nicole
Tenn
Lyn
was
the
doctor
who
saw
us.
On
Tuesday
I
brought
my
12
year
old
daughter
who
had
an
ear
infection
&
my
1.5
year
old
son
who
had
a
bad
cough. Dr
Tenn-Lyn's responses
were
abrupt
and
short.
I
felt
that
the
doctor
was
annoyed
with
having
to
see
us
but
I
chalked
it
up
to the
medical
system
being
completely
overworked
and
strained
so
I tried
not
to
mind
her
attitude.
On
Thursday
that
same
week,
I
had
to
bring
in
my
10
year
old
son
to
be
seen
as
his
cough
was
getting
progressively
worse. Unfortunately
Dr
Tenn-Lyn
again
was
the
physician
we
had
the
pleasure
of
being
seen
by.
She
was
again
incredibly
rude
and
abrupt. In
all
my
years
of
seeing
Doctors
and
taking
my
3
children
to
doctors
in
Toronto,
Markham
and
Richmond
Hill
I
have
never
received
such
cold
and
obnoxious
behaviour…..it’s
a
real
question
how
someone
so
rude
and
callous
would
be
granted
a
license
to
practice
medicine
at
all.
While
trying
to
get
medical
attention
I
was
made
to
feel
judged for
not
having
brought
him
in
sooner
to
his
family
doctor,
suggesting
that
he
has
asthma
and
needed
a
puffer.
She
said
his
lungs
sounded
clear,
however required
a
lung
x
rays
to
confirm
that
it
wasn't an
infection.
The
x
rays came
back
clear,
at
which
point Dr
Tenn-Lyn
said
that
it
was
croup
and
prescribed him
Dexamethasone.
She
gave
him
two
doses,
and
said
that
he
should
feel
better
after
the
first
one.Without
any
other
options
we
followed
the
Dr
prescription. On
Friday
I
returned
yet
again
to
her
because
his
cough
was
getting
worse,
there
was
no
relief. She
actually
yelled
at
me
-
and
told
me
'why
did
you
bring
him
back
here,
I
told
you
to
go
to
the
hospital
if
it
got
worse'. At
this
point
my
patience
with
her
despicable
bedside
manner
had
evaporated. When
she
yelled
at
me,
I
turned
to
my
son
and
said
'do
you
remember
her
telling
us
to
go
to
the
hospital?'.
He
also
did
not
remember her
saying
this.
Dr
Tenn-Lyn
turned
around,
as
she
walked
out
of
the
room,
she
muttered
something
under
her
breath.
When
she
returned
with
a
requisition
to
the
hospital,
I
asked
her
if
she
was
the
only
physician
at
this
hospital,
to
which
she
responded
-
no
and
slammed
down
the
requisition
to
the
hospital.
I
finally
got
an
appointment
with
my
daughter
and
son's
family
doctor
-
whom
is
wonderful.
She
put
my
daughter
(who's
other
ear
was
now
hurting
her)
on
another
longer
and
stronger
course
of
antibiotics.
She
confirmed
that
son
likely
did
not
have
croup
as
that
is
for
much
younger
children.
She
put
him
on
a
puffer
and
nasal
spray
and
within
a
week
his
cough
cleared.
This
was
the
second
time
that
Dr
Tenn-Lyn
sent
me
to
the
hospital.
The
first
time
was
a
few
months
ago
with
my
toddler
who
had
a
stomach
bug
and
was
throwing
up
quite
a
bit.
She
would
not
see
him
because
he
was
vomiting.
This
was
around
April
of
2022.
She
sent
me
to
the
hospital,
where
I
waited
hours
to
be
seen
by
the
ER
who
turned
around
and
told
me
that
the
baby
was
too
cute
and
healthy
to
be
here
and
told
me
to
leave....
In
the
few
times
that
I
have
had
to
deal
with
her
-
Dr
Tenn
Lyn
was
unprofessional at
best. She
was
rude
and
unpleasant
and
is
a
distain
to
other
professionals
who
call
themselves
doctors.She
was
judgemental
and
her
lazy
medical
advice
was
inaccurate
and
borderline
dangerous.
Further
her
immense
lack
of
sincere
care
and
understanding
is
completely
inexcusable
and
in
no
way
do the
good
and
decent
people
of
Oak
Ridges
deserve
to
have
to
communicate
with
someone
as
poorly
behaved
as
Dr
Tenn
Lyn
when
they
are
in
need
of
proper
and
professional
medical
attention.
Considering
how
poorly
I
was
treated
I
did
a
brief
Google
search
was
not
surprised
to
learn
that
Dr
Tenn
Lyn
has
been
fired
from
her
previous
post
at
Trillium
Health.
