My 70 year old father visited this clinic on June 2, 2023 at 11:30 am. He was met by a seemingly unconcerned doctor who blatantly dismissed his OBVIOUS leg infection and told him to go home and wear compression socks!!!! To say I’m appalled is an understatement! Thankfully he went to a different clinic where a very concerned and competent doctor prescribed him with an oral and topical antibiotic and referred him to a cardiologist, as well as sent him for blood work since this was (and still is) a very serious medical concern! To make matters worse, my father called back this clinic to get the name of the doctor who was of ZERO assistance and no one returned his call! That’s ok though, I’m reporting the ENTIRE clinic for this disturbing experience! I’m beyond disgusted!!!!

I will never ever bring my children here again or come here myself. I had two kids with me and they wouldn't let us in to sit. Wouldn't let us use the washroom. I had to change my daughter In the hallway!!!! We waited over an hour. No chairs had to wait in our car. Then I had to call to see if we were next. The nurse was so rude I was shocked. We had to go in the back of the building into a gross disgusting room clearly is a storage room covered in paint. The nurse kept huffing and puffing when I asked for a mask. She wouldn't even let my 4 year old go to the bloddy bathroom told me to let her hold it!!!! Kept saying we are next. Like that means nothing to me that we are next. And by law she can't even do that. It was awful. Staff is so rude. Doctor was nice. But never will I step foot in there again. No wonder they have awful reviews. DO BETTER!!!!!!!

I am writing this on behalf of my wife who is still too upset to respond herself. I cannot comment on the quality of care my wife received because she never did see a doctor. My wife had a respiratory issue and so we went to the clinic. Explained to the receptionist that my wife had been vaccinated with three phizer shots and we had two Covid rapid tests conducted in recent times that were negative. We had the documentation with us to prove the three vaccinations. Notwithstanding any of the foregoing, my wife was told that she would have to wait outside the building at the clinic’s back door. They would then call her on her cell as to when she could come in to the building. After standing outside for two hours and it getting hot and humid, my wife went into the building to the clinic receptionist to see how much longer the wait would be. The receptionist said; “they haven’t called you yet?” The receptionist then said they would be calling her next. One half hour later, there was still no call, so we left. We stood at the back door of the clinic for two and one half hours; for what???? If the clinic’s policy is for people with respiratory to somehow just disappear, then they have a great process for achieving that. What the clinic appears to NOT understand is that people have had respiratory problems long before Covid 19 arrived on the scene. To expect someone with congestion and consistent coughing to stand outside in the heat and humidity for two and one half hours is a GREAT approach for the OAKRIGES MEDICAL CLINIC TO ADOPT FOR THE TREATMENT OF PATIENTS. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!!!!!! Is there something below one star for a score. ?????????? Tom Farrell

The worst place ever, I arrived 25 min before close and they refused to see me saying that if it's to busy they can close an hour early. The place was dead workers were just sitting around. This is a medical place where they are supposed to help people but instead all they are worried about is closing on time and not having to stay later. It is absolutely disgusting that medical professionals who took an oath to help people can do this. If they want to leave right at 5 they should have gotten into another field working a 9 to 5 job. Do not go to this place, it is a joke other reviews clearly show this aswell

Dr Ginzburg is one of the best Endoscopic doctor. He did my colonoscopy examination. Very comfortable and peace in mind under his administration.

Oak Ridges urgent care has very poor customer service and the reception staff is not friendly to say the least. We were sent here with a referral from our family doctor and when we arrived we were rejected care. Consider Vaughan as a much better alternative. 1 Star. Coach your staff !!!

Medical urgent centre receptionists are rude. They do not give clear info. I asked them whether they treat hand fractures. Until I get my answer, I have heard very unnecessary information such as I should wear mask to get service, my family doctor should write an emergency referral... At the end she said they do not treat hand fractures:) No smiling face, harsh voices, no care for customer satisfaction. Thanks for reading.

Dr. Tenn-Lyn examined my daughter. The doctor was thorough, gentle, and very knowledgeable. She really took the time to develop an appropriate medical care for my child. She has exemplary bedside manners. I wish I could say this about all the walk-in clinics within my community. I am grateful for the outstanding patient care that my daughter received, starting from registration up to the end of the visit. Thank you!

Disgusting care at this facility. The doctors and administrative staff dont care about patients at all. I had one symptom out of the covid list and was not allowed to enter the facility nor use the washroom besides having a negative covid test. They deny people basic human rights. There are 100 reasons why someone may have diarrhea and 1000 illnesses preceding the existence of covid. The manager is a rude blonde lady with no customer service skills after 2 hours of being told the “manager” is speaking to the doctor to see why the wait is so long after being told that Im next, the manager told me they cant assist me and to go to the hospital because I asked for the owners information. They are using our tax money to pay employees that dont know how to do their jobs and have disgusting attitudes. No wonder everyone leaves a negative review; the blonde so called “manager” should be fired and THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

if i could give this place lower than 1 star i would. HORRIBLE receptionist staff, very dismissive and beyond rude. This is a medical facility, and the customer service provided by a place where i am trying to receive health care is ridiculous. I pleaded that I had been dealing with an ear infection and needed assistance, they did not want to help and said there is absolutely nothing they could do for me even though the clinic was not due to close for another couple of hours. Do NOT go here, there is another walk in with a pharmacy right beside the building with a great doctor and staff. Go anywhere but here. They should be ashamed

I went to the walk in clinic, I had an ear infection. The male doctor with glasses (older gentleman) told me I didn't have one after I told him my ear hurt and I had discharge. He proceeded to tell me that ear infections are uncommon for people my age and usually happens in younger people... I almost laughed in his face, I'm 21 and quite literally anyone can get an ear infection. Then I had mentioned after he said that, that I had 2 ear infections the last year and he said "Ill challenge that".... Okay? This is the same doctor that told me months ago he "doesn't know whats wrong" when I went in for a cough, then I went to the hospital and the Dr there diagnosed me with asthma within 10 minutes of seeing him.

The walk in clinic here represents everything wrong with Ontario’s health care system. They only care about your health card number so they can bill the government. Customer service is a word I’m sure they have never heard same with patient care. Walked in at 430pm they close at 6pm and they said sorry we’re closed due to patient volume. Looked inside (cause they make you wait outside to check in) there is one person in there. The reviewers who gave 5 star ratings with 30 and 40 reviews are fake. I know cause my friend is in that business. I pray you go out of business. Side note. My cousin was a Doctor there and left cause he said it was the most disgusting disorganized place he’s ever seen. It’s filthy dirty in their too and the receptionists won’t even make eye contact with you for fear you may ask for help. Please go out of business please. Funny how all the real reviews are one star. May as well just delete your google place page and make a new one. But you’ll screw that one up too

Cordial front staff that work tirelessly to get you in front of the medical staff and doctors that care! I've been coming to this care centre basically all throughout my teenage years and as an adult. I respect and value their opinions and will continue to come here so long as I can!!

My experience here was fast, friendly, and efficient. Walked in on a Friday afternoon with no appointment, was greeted and signed in immediately. Doctor did an examination within 20 minutes. Ordered x-rays which were processed and completed within 30 minutes. Called 6 other walk in clinics prior to this with zero chance of being seen by a doctor. Many thanks to the entire staff.

Well… where do I begin? Prequil, I have worked in the medical field for many years so I know quite a bit about healthcare and diagnosis. Yesterday, I arrived to the clinic with palpitations. I really just wanted to get an ecg just to make sure everything was ok. I have had palpitations before and have a heart condition that is being taken care of. I know palpitations are not dangerous but just wanted to make sure with ecg. I waited 1.5 hours to see the doctor. I have seen her before and was upset it was her as last time she scared me by her approach as I have health anxiety and always advise the doctor of that and to please be gentle. She was not! She listened to my heart and told me that I have a murmur, this I know and have had for the last 30 years. She listened to my heart and said “ you have murmur and it’s very concerning, I told her I wasn’t worried as I have had this for many years and had an echo recently. She went on to say she was hearing heart regurgitation and was very concerned. She then said “you need an ecg, chest X-ray and I’m sending you to emerg as you could be in heart failure”. Now, as someone who knows a little about diagnosis, this was not believable. If I was in heart failure I would know it. She said she would be back in a moment with the papers. At that time I decided to leave and told reception I was leaving. I then went to another walk in clinic to get a second opinion. I saw another doctor. He was so kind and gentle and explained that the regurgitation that she may have been hearing was on the right side and not the left l, of the heart, and due to the fact that I have this heart condition , that it was normal and it was not concerning. He also went on to say that the murmur was very mild and it was not a concern. He also said that if I was in heart failure, my ankles would be swollen, as I knew, and I would not be walking around, I had no shortness of breath, and that the diagnosis and concern was not correct at oak ridges. He told me to go relax and not to worry as palpitations are not dangerous, just annoying, as my cardiologist had advised previously. I guess I just wanted to be reassured and have ecg , however he said it was not necessary at this time. It is now the next morning , and I’m happy to report that I’m feeling a lot better since I took the night to relax. I am very angry and upset that the doctor at Oakridge would make me feel such anxiety and misdiagnose what was going on.

Dr. Tenn Lynn is totally ignorant person that kept interrupting me, not letting me complete a sentence. Despite my bad feeling she just offered me to walk away and find some other doctor after one-hour wait time, on my objections to stop cutting me. Do not recomend her to anyone! I've seen many doctors in my life, but she is the worst I've encountered so far. Would give minus 5 stars if I could.

I came to the clinic with pain and the problem of ingrown nails. I am 85 and I have a very low pain threshold, in other words I am afraid of pain. But when Mrs.Roqya Dorani got to work, I realized that I got to the professional with warm and confident hands. Dear Roqya, you are very attentive and kind, and now I have become a regular client of your clinic.

I just received an email from my medical clinic. Stating not to walk-in to the walk in clinic. I have called this clinic, which includes my family doctor. The last 3 times I called this clinic they never answer the phone and the message tell you to always call back later. When I walked into the clinic cause no one answered the phone. The receptionist told me that I had to call in to make and appointment, to go to the walk in clinic, for which they never answer the phone. I went in cause I was having difficulty breathing. They only care about their family doctors not getting charged for patients using the walk-in clinic. Even though they won’t pick up the phone to book any appointments. All of their receptionists are rude. The ministry should take away this clinic license to be a walk in clinic.

This place doesn’t even deserve one star! Just awful! It said it was open online until a certain time and I arrived 2 HOURS before it’s posted close time and they said they had closed early due to current wait time. It’s just the utmost bare minimum form of health care. They needed to ensure they were “done” by their close time versus actually accepting patients until their close time. I have been here before and one time they did not send my urine sample out for testing (just lost it apparently), second time the doctor was basically asking me what I wanted to do and not providing me any guidance at all. This is the last straw, will never return. There is no care here.

I wish I could rate this as zero star. The receipt ‘s service was terrible. I asked if I could either ask her to call me instead of waiting inside or suggested me the approx waiting time. She told me in a threatening tone that if I left the waiting room I would not be able considered to be served today. I guess she chose a wrong career. Why in Canada a person like her can get a job as a receptionist?

I visited the walk in clinic three times in one week. Each time Dr Nicole Tenn Lyn was the doctor who saw us.  On Tuesday I brought my 12 year old daughter who had an ear infection & my 1.5 year old son who had a bad cough.  Dr Tenn-Lyn's responses were abrupt and short. I felt that the doctor was annoyed with having to see us but I chalked it up to the medical system being completely overworked and strained so I tried not to mind her attitude. On Thursday that same week, I had to bring in my 10 year old son to be seen as his cough was getting progressively worse. Unfortunately Dr Tenn-Lyn again was the physician we had the pleasure of being seen by. She was again incredibly rude and abrupt.  In all my years of seeing Doctors and taking my 3 children to doctors in Toronto, Markham and Richmond Hill I have never received such cold and obnoxious behaviour…..it’s a real question how someone so rude and callous would be granted a license to practice medicine at all. While trying to get medical attention I was made to feel judged for not having brought him in sooner to his family doctor, suggesting that he has asthma and needed a puffer.  She said his lungs sounded clear, however required a lung x rays to confirm that it wasn't an infection. The x rays came back clear, at which point Dr Tenn-Lyn said that it was croup and prescribed him Dexamethasone.  She gave him two doses, and said that he should feel better after the first one.Without any other options we followed the Dr prescription. On Friday I returned yet again to her because his cough was getting worse, there was no relief.  She actually yelled at me - and told me 'why did you bring him back here, I told you to go to the hospital if it got worse'.  At this point my patience with her despicable bedside manner had evaporated.  When she yelled at me, I turned to my son and said 'do you remember her telling us to go to the hospital?'. He also did not remember her saying this. Dr  Tenn-Lyn turned around, as she walked out of the room, she muttered something under her breath.  When she returned with a requisition to the hospital, I asked her if she was the only physician at this hospital, to which she responded - no and slammed down the requisition to the hospital. I finally got an appointment with my daughter and son's family doctor - whom is wonderful.  She put my daughter (who's other ear was now hurting her) on another longer and stronger course of antibiotics.  She confirmed that son likely did not have croup as that is for much younger children.  She put him on a puffer and nasal spray and within a week his cough cleared. This was the second time that Dr Tenn-Lyn sent me to the hospital. The first time was a few months ago with my toddler who had a stomach bug and was throwing up quite a bit. She would not see him because he was vomiting.  This was around April of 2022. She sent me to the hospital, where I waited hours to be seen by the ER who turned around and told me that the baby was too cute and healthy to be here and told me to leave.... In the few times that I have had to deal with her - Dr Tenn Lyn was unprofessional at best. She was rude and unpleasant and is a distain to other professionals who call themselves doctors. She was judgemental and her lazy medical advice was inaccurate and borderline dangerous. Further her immense lack of sincere care and understanding is completely inexcusable and in no way do the good and decent people of Oak Ridges deserve to have to communicate with someone as poorly behaved as Dr Tenn Lyn when they are in need of proper and professional medical attention. Considering how poorly I was treated I did a brief Google search was not surprised to learn that Dr Tenn Lyn has been fired from her previous post at Trillium Health.

I cannot help but keep rating this clinic as a 5-star. The receptionist, Nancy is very caring and courteous. Nancy has always gone beyond her call of duty to greet patients with a smile and help them out in stressful situations. There was another staff named Tara who was extremely friendly. The doctors are also worth mentioning for the excellent service they provide. During my recent visit with Dr. Harel, he listened to my concern, was extremely patient, and met my grandson's medical need. Again, I have never had a bad experience in this medical clinic and would recommend it to my friends and family.

Were kind, understanding and accommodating of my autistic son. I wish I'd gotten the name of the amazing nurse who understood how difficult it can be for Autistics to wait their turn. She put him in a room immediately and Dr. Harel came in a few minutes later. He was thorough and patient with my son and with me. Thank you for making a stressful situation less stressful!

Been going to this clinic for a little over a year. My family doctor Dr.Varenbut is extremely caring. Will always have time for you, to guide you and care for you. A big thank you to Ms. Atefeh as his administrator staff for always returning a call and giving her absolute best to try and book an appointment when needed. Great team work. 10/10

the secretaries here are extremely rude, an for some reason there always muttering something under there breath, or they like to say things that sounds like there saying something else. Very unprofessional behavior very childish . I will be looking for another family doctor based on the uncomfortable feeling while I wait there.

Overall Canada has gone downhill fast with Trudeau. Our healthcare system is a big problem. I am giving it two stars because it was better than the emergency room experience at McKenzie Health in terms of time. Doctors today are about volume and prescriptions not about actual care. It's health "don't" care.

I liked this clinic and even wanted to transfer to a new family doctor there; however, I was very disappointed with the treatment of their nurse (blue eyes, hair just below the shoulders with highlights , I think her name is Linda). I tried going to this clinic twice in the past month with the same issue of acute stomach pain, and this nurse would always move my file to the end of the queue for the reasons I do not understand, as I was always polite to the clinic stuff. I understand, that waiting in the reception room is a common and long process, so I waited there for an hour without any attention, seeing that the patients who came after me were let to see the doctor first. I gently asked when the doctor would be able to take me (again, I came with an acute, sharp stomach pain which was very hard to tolerate) and reminded her that I was in the hospital for the same reason a day ago. The nurse showed a sympathetic face and told me that the doctor would take me soon... So I waited another 1.5 hours (it was August 25th) and was invited to the doctor's room thereafter (so waiting from 2.30 pm to 6 pm). In the room, I waited another hour and left without receiving any help whatsoever. I would not say anything !but! this situation happened twice already with the same nurse, and I do not want neither my family nor anyone else to receive such an insensitive, angry, and non-attentive treatment from this nurse, will not go there again.

2nd time at this location. Both visits were great. This time during covid there were more protocols - we called ahead to make sure we could see a doctor in person. Short wait (20 mins). Friendly doctor and nurses and good with kids.

I have been seeing Dr. Raj for approximately the last 6 months for issues I have as a result of being an avid sun worshipper. Through all my years of going to see a dermatologist, I have never encountered a doctor who is so caring, empathetic, kind and knowledgable as Dr. Raj. He bar none is the best dermatologist you can visit. There are not enough words to describe how amazing he truly is. When you are a patient of Dr. Raj's you are in the best hands possible for any of your dermatological needs and issues. I can't thank you enough Dr. Raj!!!!! You are simply the best!!!

I was here to see doctor silver. She’s a great doctor but the receptionists are extremely rude. I was waiting where one of ladies asked me too and then this nurse goes”HELLO!?”, I went over to her and just simply explained that the lady had asked me to go over here but I wasn’t sure where and she said “are you walk in?” in a very sarcastic tone. I said no I have an appointment and she just points and says “there!” like hello?

worse experience ever on the phone by a receptionist on Dec. 28, 2022 at 10:30am. Extremely rude. How can this place still be in business today? Especially, after reading the various reviews. Management should wake up and smell the coffee.

I had visited 2 prior clinics and before someone recommended this one to me. It’s location is far from me but had a great experience upon my first visit. Wait was average but found the Doctors to be the nicest I’ve seen in a long time. Was not rushed at all and when I needed a referral to a specialist they were more then happy to accommodate. It’s now my third visit and definitely worth the drive.
