    If you are visiting Rio, forget about fancy restaurants or hip places. Batata De Marechal is the rawest and unapologetic street culinary experience you can get on the cheap. 15 reais can get you literally a bag of crispy French fries, complete with bacon and sausage. Go crazy with ketchup, custom sauce and whatever you like. Fun fact: They serve literally 3 tons of potatoes each weekend.

    Best French fries ever. Got the French fries with sausage and chicken with cheddar cheese. Never filled my stomach so much before. Highly recommend making the trip here. Soooo good

    I've heard the food is great but in the other hand que place people seat to dine is very filthy. They should pay a lot more attention on this regard.
