Excellent location : close to the beach, close to Jaffa, walking distance to HaHagana Railway station and even closer to bus stations. Difficult to park your car in the street, because it is closed in the evening for cars. Trendy, stylish interior, well equipped kitchen (free beer in the refrigerator), free coffee and several spices if you want to cook. There is a washing machine and separate dryer in the common area (but washing powder / capsules must be brought). Rooms are big, beds are comfortable (we had Double Room No. 5). All premises are clean. WiFi signal is strong, everywhere in the house. We spent 2 weeks in Israel (Jerusalem, Tel-Aviv, Haifa). Oliver was the best accommodation during this period. If you wish fresh coffee and croissant in the morning, you might visit either Bread Station, or Maison Kayser bakery (both 2 blocks from Oliver).

Clean and bright, great location, very helpful, would stay again and thoroughly recommend for anyone wanting an affordable, well located (for old town, markets and many sites nearby) quiet hotel.

Great location, they made a mistake, they didn't tell the cleaning lady, that I was late checkout, so the interruption was annoying, the air condition made alot of noise which was also annoying. On the other size the girl which made my reservation was super nice, the room was really clean, with towels paper shampoo whatever you need. Bed was comfy and clean aswell.

Great location in a very nice neighborhood in Tel Aviv. The room in nice well designed, clean but a bit small. Careful! This is a perfect spot if you are here to discover tel aviv by night and want to party but if you are looking for tranquility and calm : run away!! The hotel is on a pedestrian street with very loud and noisy bars right below the rooms. We could not sleep before 2 or 3 am and the music was ridiculously loud!! All the street is full of people having a drink, speaking loud. Price pretty expensive

I would definitely go back to the Oliver in Tel Aviv. Location was central, the room and common room were spotless, renovated and tastefully decorated. There were some nice touches added like a bottle of water, soda water and nuts in every room. Check in was easy since I was emailed the code in advance. We heard no noise from outside and it was overall a very nice experience. I would definitely stay there again!

First time in Tel Aviv and I am so glad I picked this hotel. Loved the room, the bathroom was gorgeous, great view (room 1). I loved the common area, and the kitchen. The service was quick, accurate and very helpful. Will come here again.

Great location, the room is beautifully designed, we barely heard the party going on in the street and the A/C was a life saver :)

Positive: - well equipped Hotel in a central area - coffee, beer and water for free - possibility to cook - high class design - check in without problems - it is an automatic run hotel Negative: - no pre info about massive roadworks (they build an underground train) right next to our window. Working day and night 24/7 even on Sabbath. Windows not really noise proof. We slept less in our holidays than we sleep when we have to work :( - some small things from us disappeared out of the fridge and out our room - cleaning was not thoroughly In total the price was to high for this situation. There was no personal interaction with the host but was endeavoured on the phone. If you want a calm holiday with sleeping the whole night you should look for something else.

This was our first time staying in a hotel with self-check in and I loved it. Everything went smoothly. Our room was clean and spacious. Free Netflix and bottled water, coffee in beer in the common kitchen and sitting area. The hotel was quiet over the weekend, which is something I was nervous about after reading other reviews about the subway construction taking place next door. We had a decent breakfast at the cafe next door. I would definitely recommend and return.

We had a great stay at Oliver. Its located right between the bussy nightlife of downtown and the fancy dinning midtown. Everything is walking distance (more like roll out of bed distance). We took some wonderful strolls. The room was very comfy with a great mattress and all the pillows we could want. Tasteful minimal design that leaves you with everything you need to feel pampered.

VERY basic. Also very clean, if all you need is a place to sleep it may suit you, but if you want to spend some time in your room you can find better. Thin walls, you can hear your neighbors TV.

Overall really good place. Quick to respond to queries. Thereā€™s a shared kitchen with coffee (Nespresso), tea and even beer. Room had nice little touches (some snacks and still and sparkling water. Loved the balcony room. Nothing better than starting the day with a coffee on the balcony to wake up. Clean place. But no cleaning of the room during the stay (I stayed for 3 nights). Rooms are not sounds proof. Responding to some of the other reviews. There is indeed a bar/restaurant downstairs, but they turned off the music at 11 pm, and people are not overly loud. Didnā€™t bother me at all. Overall cute little spot, and option to leave luggage stored after check out, which is very helpful. Location really convenient. Lots of little shops and restaurants.

First I must say that I was surprised by the name "Hotel" as for me the organisation of the five rooms seemed more like an Airbnb. Even though the "Oliver Hotel" was quick to answer my questions by mail I never had someone's name nor did I ever see anyone. The room was really clean but definitely not sound-proof - luckily the air-conditioning cut out some of the noise from the restaurants and bars in the street (contrarily to what someone wrote they didn't close at 11 p.m. !) and I could hear the occupants in one of the rooms next to mine quite clearly. Oliver is quite well-located and I appreciated the walk from behind the building along the green pedestrian walk. I would advise Oliver for a one-night stay and despite my remarks the overall impression wasn't too bad !
