Tourist
trap!
Scam!
This
place
is
a
total
joke.
When
we
entered
we
asked
if
they
took
credit
card,
the
owner
said,
“yes,
but
we
prefer
cash”.
I
told
him
that
we
only
have
card,
and
he
said,
“ok”.
There
was
no
menu
with
prices,
the
food
was
bland,
and
when
we
asked
for
the
bill
he
placed
a
calculator
on
the
table
with
our
owed
amount.
170
shekels
for
2
chicken
shawarma
plates,
a
bottle
of
water
and
a
coke…that’s
nearly
$45
USD!?
Then
when
I
tried
to
pay
with
credit
card
he
said
that
he
only
took
cash.
We
honestly
didn’t
have
any
more
shekels.
Long
story
short
we
ended
up
paying
in
USD.
This
was
our
first
dining
experience
in
Israel
and
definitely
left
a
bad
taste.
