Don’t go, keep walking! Total scam. Brought food we didn’t order, would not give us prices or receipt. I made a fuss and got a little reduction, but still 2x what it should have cost. Too bad that we were cold and starving and a little lost...that is all this place has going for it...an easy location, which is wrong on google maps, by the way. If we would have been able to find it and see the reviews, we would have avoided for sure!

The owner of this restaurant is very sneaky and a liar. We ordered two shawarmas. They gave us salads, french fries and hummus we didn't ask for with each plate being 25NILS each. Asked for the bill and it was 180 NILS in total (about $55USD). He kept the menu hidden from us, would refuse to give us a receipt and kept flashing his calculator in our face. Total rip off. Although they had card machines to process payments by Credit Cards they said CASH only. Avoid this place. Everyone who entered this restaurant and was asking for the bill were very upset too.

We did get menus and the prices were OK as everything in Israel now is so expensive. However the food was mediocre and the the portions were small. I would not go back

Tourist trap! Scam! This place is a total joke. When we entered we asked if they took credit card, the owner said, “yes, but we prefer cash”. I told him that we only have card, and he said, “ok”. There was no menu with prices, the food was bland, and when we asked for the bill he placed a calculator on the table with our owed amount. 170 shekels for 2 chicken shawarma plates, a bottle of water and a coke…that’s nearly $45 USD!? Then when I tried to pay with credit card he said that he only took cash. We honestly didn’t have any more shekels. Long story short we ended up paying in USD. This was our first dining experience in Israel and definitely left a bad taste.

SCAM!!!!! huge tourist trap!! No menu, no receipt. We were assuming for the 2 shawarma plates and 2 small salads it would be a reasonably price. We though wrong! 170 shekels later we left feeling taken advantage of. They have two google pages for this restaurant btw both with Terrible reviews.

Avoid at all means this place. The hall looks amazing inside which might attract you but stay away and pass by. The reasons are already laid out in the previous comments - they are scammers who charge you double or triple more what you actually ordered.

Police case! We entered this pseudo-restaurant that is just outside the Western Wall .... we entered and asked the price: Strangely they did not speak the price and were already placing food plates on the table. HORRIBLE FOOD, and to swallow we ordered a juice and a Coke ... when we asked for the bill, it was charged 340 $ (approximately 100 EUR for two people). We complained, but there was no way ... We then asked for a TAX, and after two hours was given a scribbled paper with the amount paid. SHAME! PS: The alleged Invoice is attached.

The owner is sneaky and not reliable. Never go to this place!!!! The service was horrible(we were waiting for 40 minutes), when i asked the waiter if the shishlik comes with fries and salads he said yes. They served the salads and pitas, we started to eat while they served the meat it was without fries, when we asked the server where is the fries his answer was "it is additional 15 NIS, my friend and I were shocked they tried to cheat people and especially tourists, never go to this place. P.S The shishlik wasn't fully cooked and pitas were dried.

Let's call it what it is. It is a tourist trap. You will have a lousy meal and pay dearly for it.

The only nice thing I can say about this place is the name of the restaurant. Because of the fact we needed sth to eat, we went inside. My girlfriend luckily asked for the menu and the prices. He gave it to us and realized that we aren't the most stupid tourists. We decided to have shawarma. Right after ordering we felt that it is a scam. What we didn't know, each salad you take will cost extra. When we asked for the bill he showed up with a Calculator and the price didn't match the prices on the menu. With tips we would have paid the same amount... But at this place it is not worth giving tips !! The poor tourists prior us had to pay an unbelievable sum which was way too much. In my opinion, avoid this restaurant ! It's a scam !
