Our
guide
was
lovely,
but
unfortunately
the
administration
didn’t
listen
to
my
family’s
needs
in
planning
our
experience.
We
had
initially
booked
the
Zaki
water
tour.
I
was
curious
about
Jilabun
waterfall
which
I
had
visited
as
a
teenager.
Honestly,
I
just
wanted
to
see
the
waterfall
and
asked
them
if
they
thought
we
needed
a
guide.
I
also
told
them
I
didn’t
particularly
want
to
rapel.
They
convinced
me
to
book
Jilabun
AND
Zaki
in
the
same
day.
They
said
the
guide
would
bring
repelling
equipment
just
in
case
anyway.
They
said
it
was
no
problem
at
all,
even
though
I
repeatedly
told
them
I
have
little
children,
ages
5,
7
and
9.
They
made
it
seem
as
though
we
could
do
the
first
hike
very
briefly,
go
out
to
lunch
and
then
do
Zaki.
I
relied
on
their
expertise
and
I
was
very
wrong
to
do
so.
Jilabun
with
three
little
kids
took
us
EIGHT
HOURS
and
was
a
long
hike
that
included
two
waterfalls,
not
one.
My
older
kids
loved
the
repelling
but
my
youngest
was
scared
so
he
didn’t
do
it.
I
did
the
first
waterfall,
but
should
have
listened
to
my
gut
to
not
do
it.
It
was
not
for
me.
I
ended
up
scraping
my
leg
against
a
rock
and
got
a
massive
blood
infection
which
prevented
me
from
participating
in
other
activities
I
wanted
to
do
on
our
vacation
like
swimming
in
the
Dead
Sea
(doctor
did
not
recommend).
Anyway,
we
did
not
have
time
to
do
the
second
hike.
When
it
came
time
to
pay,
we
called
and
explained
about
the
timing
to
Daniel
the
administrator.
He
wanted
us
to
pay
the
full
price
for
two
tours.
(I
mean,
by
this
logic,
he
could
have
convinced
us
to
sign
up
for
any
number
of
tours
and
asked
us
to
pay
for
them
all.)
We
agreed
to
pay
a
total
of
2832
NIS
for
a
tour
that
normally
costs
1888,
plus
a
generous
tip
for
our
guide.
A
couple
days
later,
I
received
an
email
demanding
we
pay
another
666
NIS
for
both
tours
in
full,
to
which
I
refused.
They
took
zero
responsibility
for
convincing
us
to
overbook
our
day.
A
couple
of
days
later
from
the
hospital,
I
received
a
3-minute
recording
from
Daniel
demanding
666
NIS
and
telling
us
we
will
be
“blacklisted”
from
booking
with
them.
He
told
us
it
was
our
fault
that
it
took
us
so
long
to
complete
the
hike
with
little
kids
(have
you
ever
tried
to
walk
with
a
5
year
old
just
regularly
when
you’re
NOT
hiking???)
and
he
said
that
because
the
guide
had
to
brush
up
on
his
knowledge
of
the
trail,
we
had
to
pay
for
a
full
hike
that
we
did
not
do.
(Isn’t
he
supposed
to
know
the
trail
anyway
as
part
of
his
job?)
Anyway,
for
kids
who
love
adventure,
the
guide
was
lovely.
However,
this
was
clearly
not
a
fit
for
us.
I
feel
that
we
were
coerced
into
booking
a
type
of
hike
I
didn’t
really
want
in
the
first
place.
They
mismanaged
the
explanation
of
what
the
hike
would
entail
and
they
harassed
us
after
we
made
a
very
generous
compromise
with
them
on
the
price
of
a
hike
we
did
not
have
the
time
or
energy
to
do.
By
the
way,
we
booked
this
company
11
years
ago
to
do
the
Zaki
trail
but
did
a
different
hike
because
it
rained
that
day
and
the
water
was
too
high
in
the
river.
I
thought
it
would
be
nice
to
do
this
adventure
finally
but
alas,
it
once
again
did
not
occur.
The
bright
spot
here
is
that
while
I
was
disappointed
by
the
mismanagement,
our
older
kids
had
fun.
No
need
to
blacklist
us
Israel
Extreme,
clearly
you
are
not
the
tour
company
for
us.
I
really
thought
your
guides
were
lovely
and
I’m
disheartened
that
you
decided
to
attack
us
and
burn
this
bridge
with
us
after
we
were
so
excited
to
reconnect
with
you.
