Blue Herron and white Herron flying together was absolutely breathtaking. And all the Water birds in the trees are a must see!!

This hidden gem, right along the Peconic River, is one of the most beautiful spots on the North Fork of Long Island. With municipal boat parking, access to all of Riverhead‘s restaurants, breweries, distillery, and museums, not to mention the Suffolk Theatre, the Peconic Riverwalk is definitely worth a visit! Favorite restaurant downtown is LuchaCubano at the old Riverhead Grill! Their sandwiches are phenomenal and the drinks are amazing!

It is a beautiful place for meditation and Tranquility it is immaculately kept and clean a fragrance permeates the air with a salty caressing atmosphere.

A nice place to take a stroll along the water. Lots of benches and a number of picnic tables.

Lovely park to walk along the river. We came for the Carboard boat race and we had a blast!! You can watch the boats and canoes on the water as you walk. Many places to eat too. We ate at the Turkish restaurant and it was great! Great place to visit with families on the weekend for peaceful walk.

The pier is beautiful. Kayaking through the area is calming. The special events are always well run. To simply walk the dock and enjoy the wildlife is serene. Fishing is permitted. And the new brewery, #PCB, is fun!

Lovely boardwalk and small park. The town provides a well maintained dock, with water, 30 amp electric hookup, and a pumpout station for visiting boaters, right downtown and close to attractions and restaurants. Such a shame more do not use!

Peconic River cardboard boat races. Great time made available to us by the town of Riverhead. Great fun. Great restaurants and brewery close by. Came down to enjoy the day and get lunch. Perfect area for that

Very nice place. They have annual Cardboard Boat Race in August. It is always a lot of fun.

They have certainly done a lot of work around here. Looks absolutely amazing! Really nice to go for a stroll whether it's on a sunny day or a nice evening with everything around you lit and glowing! Love how you can see the Suffolk theater lights!
