We booked through trip advisor and have zero regrets. This was the high light of all excursions! Just one note, being some extra cash as everyone expects tips. They are not required but we felt inclined because everyone was so great at what they did! Our guide Jerry was the best!

We had a great experience here. The ziplines were awesome and the guys looking after us were great. Thorough and entertaining. The animals all looked to be well cared for and the guide made sure that all who wanted to could interact with them and was very informative. Definite 5 stars for us.

Bodden tours is our go to every time we visit. They take real good care of us. Howard is like family and we love him. If you want a safe and reliable tour guide and driver this is for you. I absolutely cannot give a good enough review.

This place was great! We got to hold a baby sloth, had a monkey sit on our shoulders and had a parrot roost on our heads! Only draw back is that it is pretty hot, so wear appropriate clothing. Also, make sure to get there early because the crowd makes it fill up fast! We went with Bodden Tours and our guide took us here before doing anything else, and by the time we were leaving there were a lot of people lining up outside.

I loved seeing all of the animals! We were able to hold the sloths and play with the monkeys. The experience of interacting with the animals was great! Our tour guide was very rushed when there was no need to be and spent more time telling us about her sick daughter and their medical expenses (to get more of tip) than telling us about the animals we were seeing.

This place is fantastic and I highly recommend it. We did the zipline and the instructors were great! We also took a tour of the sanctuary and were able to visit with the monkeys, sloths, and parrots. All the animals seemed very well taken care of and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had an amazing time and we will definitely return.

I LOVE THE SLOTHS! They were SOOOOO soft! There were 2 babies. And a monkey jumped on my head! There were talking birds too. It was a really neat experience. I would go back.

Bidden Tours is simply the best way to experience Roatan. You will of course see the Iguanas, white faced capuchins, macaws, and those charming sloths. Which is a great experience. But your individual guide will help you to not only see the island, but to experience it. Want to see the reef? They got you. Want to see how chocolate is made? No problem. Whatever you want to do and see, Victor Bodden will do everything to help facilitate that.

My family has used Bodden Tours twice, once 9 or so years ago and again in Dec 2019. I can not write enough good things about the tours and the monkey business. First both our guides we have had were super friendly and knowledgable about the area. What really sets them apart is just how unbelievable kind they are! On our most recent trip I was traveling with my 79 year old Grandma and my disabled Aunt so needless to say my party needs a bit of extra patience and time to get in and out of the van and walking around places. Now for the Monkey Business, I regret not writing our tour guides name down, but he went above and beyond. The paths there are a bit uneven and there is a good bit of walking to be done but they quickly got a wheelchair (without us even asking) for my Grandma and the gentleman was even kind enough to push her around the tour. If that wasn't kind and thoughtful enough they brought us a light chair to carry around so my Aunt had a place to sit when we were staying in one place for awhile. I really could go on and on about how amazing this whole company is. I promise you won't regret booking with them!

We booked online and it was super easy. Great prices and communication. Found our tour guide easily after leaving cruise ship. He gave us great information as he drove us to our dolphin snorkel. Then we went to the sloth sanctuary. They were falling asleep by then so didn't get much time with them. Got some good photos. Met Victor himself while there. Would use company again.

Our favorite excursions, perfect for animal lovers. The beach was amazing, one of the best we ever been.

What a fantastic experience! We did the Zip & Dip package which included the sanctuary tour for a group of 12 with 5 being little kids. Honestly, we didn't know much about what we were getting into beforehand but this turned out to be everyone's favorite thing hands down! Every habitat in the sanctuary was clean and well kept and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and kind with us every step of the way. We spent a lot of time with the sloths, capuchins, macaws, and the beautiful green birds I forgot the name of and then visited with the spider monkeys and toucan from more of a distance. The sanctuary alone was jammed with once in a lifetime memories. From there, the crew of gallant heroes took us ziplining. I am terrified of heights and they managed to be patient and kind with me, super supportive and careful with all the children (ranging from 5 to 10 years and 45 pounds to 98 pounds), and still made it a thrilling adventure for the adventure seekers in our group (hanging upside down & doing different incredible tricks) across the valleys. We then met back up with our tour guide from the shuttle who was so kind, knowledgeable, supportive, helpful, and patient and took us over to the Bananarama Beach Resort which was also a pleasure. It's not the Disneyfied type but it was the perfect relaxing end to a phenomenal day. Victor Bodden has really nailed this tour program and provided some of the best staff and environments to visit and immerse with in the whole Caribbean area.

Absolute dream come true for animal lovers. My husband and I booked the private tour with monkey and sloth sanctuary during a cruise stop and loved every minute. We felt very safe and thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the lovely island. Highly recommend and will absolutely visit again.

Great Company! The ZIPLINES ARE AMAZING, be prepared for steps though. My mom typically is in a walker and the guides were helpful and allowed us to go at her pace! We had 6 in our group from 8 to 62 years old and this with the birds/monkeys/sloths was a unanimous favorite on our 10 day trip. The parasailing was good... We didn't have enough time for the 4 wheelers that day, due to my mom's inability to go fast, we did pay in advance earlier in the day. VICTOR , sent someone with our refund to the ship port... Great SERVICE AND SUGGESTIONS by Kenny (our driver/guide)! Next trip 4 wheelers will be FIRST. Thanks Kenny and Victor!

Very impressed with the level of attention given by the tour guides at Victors Bodden's tours. Our guide even took us to a home/kitchen (Ms. Aminta's) and got us some authentic Hondurian grub. Had a great time on the ziplines and the atv park. Seeing the sloths and monkeys were pretty cool too. Thank you Victor! Will definitly be back.

Bodden Tours made our Roatan stop unforgettable. Their coordination made everything extremely simple and an insane value. I can't believe that we were able to do everything on our list and more in the short 8 hours at port. We had easy pickup from our cruise ship, comfortable transportation the entire day to all our destinations. One AMAZING driver Johnny Thompson was simply the best! He first took us to the Canopy Zipline and animal habitat. Let me say that this zipline was better than Puerto Rico and Hawaii. We had plenty of time holding sloths, monkeys and birds. Our driver Johnny then took us to West Bay Beach. We had lunch, took a boat for a 1 hr. Snorkel excursion (equipment included) took our entire group of 10 parasailing and came back with enough time for a $40 1 hr. Full body massage on the beach. We never felt rushed and made it back to the ship with time to spare. These guys had everything running so smooth and if some of the group didn't want to do something, there was plenty of other options. I recommend booking direct and with confidence.

I had a wonderful time here. They have a great little gift shop and we got to see and learn about white faced capuchin monkeys and sloths and many birds. The best part was holding a sloth. They hug onto you like a baby and are so cute.

Thoroughly enjoyed this place. Zipline took about an hour. Very fun. The animals appeared to be well taken care of. It was an immerse experience. Book it in advance. You won't regret it.

Highly recommend Bodden Tours!! Zip lines, sloths, monkeys and birds whats not to love?! Plus the staff was super friendly and fun. We’ll definitely be back on our next cruise!

  • 5/5 Jessica B. 1 year ago on Google
Highlight of our cruise was Roatan! We felt completely safe the whole time. The Zip lines were a lot of fun. The guys went above and beyond to help my 77yr old mother to make sure she was hydrated and comfortable. They also taught y 18yr old son how to do flips and go upside down while zip lining. The sloths were really neat to spend time with as well. It felt a little rushed but it was fun to hold them for a minute. Our driver was nice. He brought us to a place to eat after we went zip ling and to a choc store. After that it felt like he wanted to just drop us off at the port and be done. A little disappointing but it didn't take away from how much we loved Roatan. I would still go back and do it all again, but I would hope to get a different driver.

Hi, we loved all three major places that we were able to go to, including the animal sanctuary, West Bay, Beach, and the dolphin encounter. Our custom paid private tour was a great driver, but honestly lacking in the guide realm. he started off by telling us how worried he was about getting a bad review because of a previous customer. We are assured him that we did not have those intentions, but we’re happy to visit his island. He kept on bringing that up throughout our entire visit, which was frustrating because it became more about him and less about us enjoying the island. He complained for me, asking him to stay with us on West Bay, and to keep an eye on our items while we were swimming. Complained he had no water and was very hot which could’ve been the case of course since it’s warm there, but has no business issuing any complaints as our private tour guide. He wanted to please us, but the negative attitude and worry or just overwhelming during our entire car ride. He left us for a dolphin encounter, which we understood, but was not there prior to us getting out and so we had to wait around for him. We did stop at a lovely place to get souvenirs which I appreciate it, but he did not Bring us to the cameo factory because there were cameos for sale at the local artisan shop. I would have preferred an actual tour guide for our private tour that we booked with you. His accent was also so thick that it was hard to understand anything that he said when he did bring up certain facts about the island which were a few. He was not a good tour guide, more of a driver that complained and worried. I believe he has a kind heart, but I do not believe he should be a tour guide. A driver, yes. He was a great driver. Your island is amazing, and I appreciated the check in process being seamless with you personally. If we came again, I would book with you, but make a very specific request for the kind of private tour guide we were issued. Your activities made up for the bad tour guide. And we still enjoyed our time on the island.

We had the best time with Victor Bodden Tours. We got to plan out our own day and our personal tour guide Ben took us everywhere. The price point was fantastic!! We never felt rushed and got to enjoy all parts of the island. We zipped lined, held monkeys and sloths, went snorkeling and lunch at a great local spot on the water. Great for all ages. Even my 4 yr old got to zip line!!! If we are ever in Honduras again they will definitely be our first place to call!

The people here are really great at what they do. From the zip line guides, to the animal guides, to the gift shop, to the drivers who get you there. We liked it so much we came back to do it all again. Zip line course is really fun, about 45 minutes over 8-10 platforms. The animals are very interactive and seem happy and well cared for. The gift shop has some great local art. They will pick you up and bring you back as part of your park experience so spend your money in the gift shop. It is really easy to communicate with them on What’s App to arrange your ticket and ride.

We have booked here twice and loved both excursions. We always include hugging sloths as the first part, then we did the zip line first and the second time we rode ATVs.

We used Victor Bodden Tours for the second time in May 2023. We love the personal experience you get with Victor Bodden Tours. Our tour guide was Michael and he was excellent he gets 10 stars. He took us zip lining, the monkey & sloth sanctuary, ATV riding, chocolate factory, & a restaurant on the beach. Actually all of Victor Bodden employees make your stay on the island an experience you’ll never forget. We are thinking of going back next summer for the week for our daughter’s senior trip. We are wanting to hire Michael to be our personal driver for the week. You won’t regret it if you go with Victor Bodden Tours.

Cannot say enough about this tour and our tour guide Angel. We did the private tour since my husband has difficulty walking. Angel made sure he was doing ok, and we were not going too fast getting to the car. He showed us the sights in Roatan, and took us to Bodden's monkey and sloth sanctuary. It was all I had hoped. Kevin walked us around and let us interact with monkeys and sloths and birds. Such an amazing experience. If you decide to book with them, try to get Angel as your guide for the day. He is awesome!!!

Amazing opportunity to hold a sloth and have monkeys jumping around on you...then, hop on an ATV for a trip through the back country. Recommend the private tour, much better experience.

  • 4/5 Mike C. 1 year ago on Google
Ziplining was awesome, and the guides did well. The sloth and monkey sanctuary were also cool. My biggest issue was when they tried to charge us $10 per person for photos. That would have been $70 for a handful of digital files. That is not good pricing. The Monkeys and Sloths were cool and we would definitely do this again.

I've been wanting to write this review for a couple years. Anyway, My 75 year old mother and I were on a cruise in January 2019 and one of our stops was in Roatan on Jan.15'19. We were booked on one of the 5 hour Bodden Tours. We were approximately 45-60 minutes into our sightseeing tour when my mother fell and broke her arm. The driver immediately drove us to the nearest clinic. While we waited for x-rays and to see a physician, I told the driver he could leave us there and that he should return to his other passengers and that my mother and I would take a taxi back to the cruise ship once we were done at the clinic. But he made a phone call (at the time I didn't know who to) and said he would not leave us alone. Shortly after his call, his boss, Victor Bodden (the tour company owner) arrived at the clinic and he stayed with us at the clinic the entire afternoon while the driver returned to his other passengers. Once my mom had her x-ray and had been seen by the doctor and had her arm wrapped and given medication for the pain, it was time to fill her prescriptions and pay for the clinic visit. They did not accept insurance and I did not have enough cash on me. I had left my credit cards in the safe on the cruise ship; and the clinic would not let me leave to go get my credit card (guess they didn't trust I would return?). Then Victor did the best thing ever....he paid for everything for me (about $500 U.S.). Needless to say, I had to promise to pay him back. After paying the clinic, Victor told us there was still enough time to go to the Sloth Farm so my mother could get her hugs from these adorable monkeys. After visiting the sloths, Victor drove us back to the cruise ship in plenty of time before the ship left Roatan. I quickly ran to my cabin to gather enough cash and then run back out to pay Victor back the money. I did not think anyone would have done what Victor and his team had done. I totally would have expected them to leave us at the clinic and leave us to find our own way back to the cruise terminal. The Bodden team are so kind, thoughtful and respectful. I would highly recommend this tour company to anyone. Not only do they provide great tours, but they also make sure their customers are safe and secure at all times.

  • 4/5 Wyse W. 4 years ago on Google
The tour was a lot of fun, but the place was so crowded, at times the guides rushed us through. I'm sure the timing is to accommodate lots of cruise ship tourists, but for the tour package prices, it would have been nice to be able to hang out with the animals a bit longer. Still a lot of fun and worth the trip 👍

Dean was our guide and was very pleasant and informative. He toured us through the white face Capuchin monkey cages where we were allowed to feed/ hold the monkeys. Actually they just sort of jump on your shoulder. Also got close up scarlet macaw photo with bird sitting on shoulder. We're able to hold a yellow neck parrot. Able to hold the three times sloths. Saw but not allowed to touch a baby sloth. There is a large gift shop. Tips for guides encouraged. Recommend if you want to get up close and personal with the sloths. Paid $10 each US to enter.

We did the Best of Roatan private tour with the animal experience and snorkeling. This is our first time on a cruise and in Roatan and it was more than we hoped for. You get caged animals, you get friendly caregiver guides, you can get mass produced "local" tcotchkes, and you can definitely get back to your cruise ship withina two hour window, from start to finish. My nephew had a great time, and so did his mother. Caged animals just aren't my thing.
