Big rooms. Friendliest staff. Very clean. Best diving instructors. Outstanding restaurant... I could go on and on. BUT do not expect big same beach... it is more a key. Nevertheless: one day i am back.

This place is spectacular. The vibe, the layout, the amenities and the food just make this place amazing!! We loved everything and could have stayed so much longer. Other info: only 10 min drive from airport. The dive shop and staff are great. The beach is not really there (small key), but there is pavillon to the ocean which is really nice.

We stopped at Barefoot Cay for lunch and drinks. The owner was so nice and friendly. She took the time to show us the entire island. We walked around and looked at the beautiful room suites and the wonderful pool area. It has an enclosed dock for a 100ft yacht and also a 150 Pier for fishing and swimming. The restaurant was fantastic great food great service. We also had some cocktails from the bar. We spent a wonderful afternoon on Barefoot Cay. Highly recommend.

This is our fifth time staying at Barefoot Cay, the staff is fabulous and the diving crew are amazing. They have made remarkable improvements under the new owner and we wouldn't imagine staying anywhere else!!

Our appartment has 1 big and superconfortable  bedroom and 1 toilet, fully  equiped,  with a great  kitchen fully. They were taking care of us in every moment, specially Pamela, Melissa,mickey, the barman,the cheff and the owner of the restaurant (she offers a delicious gingerbeer for wellcome cockteil) we're so pleased for all U've done for us. The bed was superconfortable (I've slept for 12 h) and all the appartment was great, very well decorated with spectacular views to the beach We've spend the most of the time in our villa with pool! It's amazing. We've been taking such a good pictures of the views, even at night time. The weather was not as nice as we spected, bus we' ve tried some flights with our drone. I hope you like them. All the staff was superfriendly, they prepare great smoothies. We have to come back, for sure! Thanks a lot to Barefoot CayResortt!

Warm friendly staff, large, sparkling clean bungalows with perfect views, comfy beds, and great coffee! On-site restaurant is competing with great diving for the favorite part of our trip. We highly recommend this resort and restaurant for a romantic getaway and or dive vacation!

An absolutely 5-star experience. I had a food allergy reaction that was entirely my fault and they quickly reacted and moved to replace the meal with something else that was absolutely delicious and divine. The dive shop is also one of the finest spots in Roatán for diving with the south side spots all lined up and close by. Overall a fantastic experience! The spot is beautiful. Just a bit on the pricey side if you’re looking for something on the budget-friendly side.

They were remodeling while we were there so there was noise, but the rooms were beautiful, well appointed, and clean. The plantation shutters on the windows made a soothing whistle sound in the wind, and the beachy decor was spot on. The pool and the bar were beautiful also with travertine pavers, comfy, substantial furniture, and more shutters. The restaurant was great with friendly people and wonderful food. Be sure you like garlic before ordering. I would return in an instant

Barefoot Cay is hands down the best Resort/Dive Center on Roatan. We cant say Thank You enough for the amazing "valet" diving provided by Danny, Ron, Kevin and Justin. But we also cant forget to mention how perfect the rest of the resort is as well. Everyone, and we say EVERYONE is so nice, helpful and willing to accommodate every need and want. The accommodations are perfect. The dining, food and restaurant are perfect. Everything is just amazing your entire stay at Barefoot Cay Resort and Dive Center. Thank you again for another great experience and we look forward to coming back soon. David and Sarah

This place is beautiful! The room was large (really a studio apartment), modern, beautifully decorated, large deck that over looked the lagoon. Check in staff was amazing. Pool was lovely (I dislike it was pretty much in the middle of the restaurant). Everyone was so nice. My only complaint (and read others saying it) is the S L O W service in the restaurant/bar area. We just stayed overnight but dined here 3 times. Each time our drinks or water ran out, we had to get up and ask if anyone was working the pool area and even then it just took everything a long time to be serviced. I appreciate the food being cooked to order but..... This wasn't unique to this place, every single restaurant and bar we visited while there we had this experience! I'm a drinker but I only had 1 drink each time because my drink ran dry and no one came to offer me another or it was so long of a wait I didn't want to risk it. The resort is back off the road and the restaurant closes at 9. There was no other place open and nothing was close enough to walk to. They do have a Uber eats type service in Roatan (Hugo), this was a life saver!! But you think dining in a restaurant is slow..... OMG! Order 2 hours before you are hungry. They have a shuttle service to the airport that you can set up and use your card to pay, that was helpful. The no see ums here and all over Roatan is real!! We got bitten up pretty bad. The beach is in a beautiful, private back area, the grounds are immaculate and the staff was constantly keeping it up and cleaning it. Even sweeping and raking the beach area but they still got us! I will definitely still stay here again!

On an island…just off the island, gentle breeze that seemed to keep all mosquitoes away. Peaceful, beautiful the perfect place to change your pace. Food was excellent, dive instructor Danny was superb, Aaron the ferry operator was always ready and smooth. Short ride to the west end if you want a little more action.

We didn't stay in the rooms but had the most delicious, fresh food! Very friendly staff & beautiful, immaculate property!

Without a doubt, one of our best vacations ever. The concierge diving made the diving stress free. The restaurant was wonderful. And the staff! Amazing and friendly.
