Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Flaming Gorge, Independence Rock, Devils Tower, & the Lincoln Hwy are some of Wyoming's more famous National treasures, this place Should be added to the list!!! If you are in Rock Springs or traveling past, and you don't take time to stop at the Chill Grill, you will be missing out!! The Food is Amazingly delicious, with an incredible selection! The serving size is large enough for Two normal adults. It's like an old fashioned Soda Shop, Diner, & Restaurant. Steaks, Burgers, Sandwiches, Floats, Shakes, Banana Splits, etc!!

Great little place, right off I-80. The waitresses were super friendly. It is definitely a family atmosphere, not a place for a quiet meal (I have to say, I really liked that). The menu is overwhelming - meaning there is *so* much to choose from! I wish we had more time to delve into the multitude of options for shakes and old fashion sodas. Speaking of time... this is NOT a fast food joint. A polite disclaimer on the back of the menu tells you that all meals are made to order, and to please be patient. I had the BLT and fries. My kids had the burgers. I thoroughly enjoyed mine, theirs got mixed reviews (hence the 3 stars on the food, but mine personally was a 5). Place was packed with locals, so I think that says a lot. Personally, I will atop there again if given the chance.

Great place for a plethora of menu items and desserts 🍨 🥧 🍦 🍡 🍧 The food was hot, fresh, and delightful! Perfect! The chili was wonderful! The salad was prepared with "fresh" ingredients and worth the meal! The facility was nice, clean, and orderly! The staff was excellent and attentive the entire meal! 👏 The restaurant filled up quickly, but the staff handled everybody smoothly! Impressive, and we'll be back for dessert 🍨 the next time! 😋

This place has INTENSE burgers! I don’t know what I was thinking ordering the double burger because these guys serve half pound patties and a half pound of meat is plenty. Somehow I was able to finish the burger but I don’t recommend it because I’m gonna go into a food coma here shortly. The fried soups were OK but there was some that were under cooked but I think because they were stuck together in the fryer but overall fries are really good burger is really good and generous cheese.

Stopped by here while passing through town and was very impressed. Nice Homey feel. Fun decorations. Big delicious burgers. Friendly staff. Great service. Excellent menu choices. Wish I could have tried the ice cream shakes but I was so full from the half pound burger that I couldn’t. Will have to try it next time!

I felt like I was in a Happy Days episode! This lovely revamped gas station has 50's deco and the food to go with it! I had the patty melt which they put on Sourdough Bread instead of rye....YUM!!! (So sorry I keep starting to eat befire the pictures.....but you can see the oatty was cooked thoughly!) My Bro had the Chicken Fried Steak sandwich, which he very much enjoyed. To round out our awesome meal we got chocolate and Strawberry shakes! SOOOOOOO DELICIOUS!!!! Waitress was so attentive and friendly.

Quaint old fashioned soda fountain. Food was from scratch and made to order; I had a classic burger that was excellent, and my mom had the roast beef dinner. We shared ice cream and it was delicious. My favorite item was the Mac and cheese.

This place is the only one I've been to with a half-pound patty, and it's very budget-friendly. I ordered the triple burger and was quite satisfied. Of course, the only downside was that the fries were a bit soft. The owner is welcoming, and her kids provide quick service. The overall atmosphere of the place is fantastic. If you're passing through Wyoming, you should definitely visit and try this burger. it's totally worth it. I'm glad I didn't stick to my plan of eating at Burger King.

Diane had the Cheeseburger and I had the chili cheese dog. Both were very good and the condiments were nice and fresh. I had regular fries and Diane had sweet potato fries and these also were good. Overall I wouldn't say it was something special, just done real good, but it was certainly better than doing fast food. They also have ice cream, shakes, and sodas. Service was top notch, and everyone was friendly. Overall, two thumbs up 👍 👌 Recommended!

Such a cute little diner. We stopped in after a day on the road and we were promptly seated, we ordered and we were served. The burger I ordered was amazing and the staff was very nice. Would definitely come again if was stopping in the city.

Love this place. Retro and classic diner fare with awesome ice cream and sweet treats. It is mom and pop at its finest. Be prepared for a wait as people linger in the fun atmosphere.

We were headed home from vacation and wanted to stop for lunch. This place was the best for what we needed. The fries are freshly cut and the fry sauce is like my mom's. I had the french dip, buenísimo! My wife had the patty melt and she thought it was great. We were hoping we would have room for a shake but our meals filled us up good. The waitress was very professional and fast. The food took a bit long to get to us, but we needed the break from the car. You can tell this is a much like place by locals because they had regulars. Very much a soda shop feel.

The food was really good! My g/f thought they were beating somebody in the back... They guy was cutting potatoes by hand to make fries! Lol 😂

The other reviewers who led us here were absolutely correct. This place is awesome! It's a fun place with extra nice staff, superior service, and wonderful tasting food. It is not something I expected to be as great as it was. Any time we're traveling through the area, I will make sure we plan on eating here in the future. If you're in the area and hungry, this is the place to go! We didn't try any amazing looking ice cream, but I hope to try it next time!

We like to stop here on our way back to Montana. The food is delicious, and the ice cream treats are tastey. Such a lovely server, we can't wait to see her as well!

Cute little diner off exit 104. It’s on the south side of the exit, so don’t miss it. Burgers and shakes were tasty. Clean and decorated to the period.

This was a delicious place to stop for food on our way through Rock Springs! The menu is so big..everyone can find something to eat. Service was fast and friendly.

My family loves to eat here. They have the best burgers. They are handmade patties that are 1/2 pound, so they are huge and juicy. Handcut fries that are the best. They also have gluten-free buns, so my son is also able to eat, which is a huge plus in my book! Not many restaurants have them, so it makes finding a place to eat kinda tricky.

Visiting Rock Springs for 2 weeks. Every place we have been to for food has been horrible quality and horrible service. We were about to give up on eating out but made the decision to try out this place. So glad we did! Everything was excellent and server was amazing! So good in fact we came back 2 days later for round 2 and will probably visit once more before leaving town in 5 days.

What an amazingly delicious little diner. We were visiting from Utah and stopped in for dinner. Huge portions, friendly service and VERY CLEAN!! Don’t miss this cute little spot.

If you're looking for a fun retro burger, soda fountain joint, this is the place! Juicy half pound burgers with a burger bar where you choose your toppings! Fry sauce-yum! The menu is extensive with shakes, flavored sodas and ice cream sundaes galore. Oh, and great salads if you're going healthy. This is a locals favorite!

The food was good but actually found two different hairs in our food. One in a drink wrapped around a straw and another on the side of a dish of food. I work in the food industry so I understand that it happens. However that compounded with the fact that it took our waitress forever to seat us, take our order and then bring us our ticket n to go boxes.... She only had two tables. I didn't complain about the hair but after the entire experience regretted it.

I recently visited Chill Grill in Rock Springs, Wyoming and I must say that it was a pretty good place. The restaurant has a 4.5 rating out of 5 on Tripadvisor and is known for its burgers and shakes. The menu is extensive with favorite items like sodas, banana splits and of course burgers etc. The staff is claimed to be efficient and the service demonstrating a high level of quality at Chill Grill. However, when we got there they were only 2 servers and the one we had was brand new. It was not busy when we arrived and they were struggling to keep up. Before we left it was approaching capacity and we watched customers leaving because they weren't being seated. Additionally, the two that were working were not working together at all. The food was great but I had a drink that was supposed to be some type of a cherry soda however it tasted like Seltzer water with ice cream. If properly staffed, this place is 5 stars easily.

Absolutely amazing thick, moist burgers. Love the condiment bar so you can choose your own burger toppings! Super fresh ingredients. Fries are delicious & the fry sauce brought to the table is a great addition too! The shakes are incredible; we tried the Oreo with cream cheese mixed in. Wowzers. We travel through about once a year & this will be a must-stop from now on if we can possibly squeeze it in!

I had an absurdly long day of travel. Road closures due to weather brought me to Rock Springs unexpectedly. I was exhausted and just wanted some quick meal and to get to my hotel and to sleep. This restaurant was the highlight of my day. The employees were awesome. I got the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, gravy and salad. It was very reasonably priced and very tasty. I eat out way more than I like due to work travel. This meal was equivalent to what I would have expected in a nice steak restaurant. The mashed potatoes and gravy were the bomb! Thank you for filling my tummy so well.

Esther did a wonderful job. She was so busy going in every direction and being attentive to her customers. All the while keeping a smile on her face. Many others in her presence can learn from this young lady. She didn't miss a beat. Our food was good and hot. I got the philly cheese steak.
