It's
literally
a
tree
in
a
public
park,
there
are
no
tickets,
you
can
just
walk
up
and
see
it.
It's
old
and
beautiful
and
has
seen
a
lot
of
this
city's
history
pass
underneath
it's
branches.
The
Park
is
full
of
children,
there
are
kiosks
for
refreshments
and
a
commercial
centre
across
the
Boulevard.
There
is
an
obelisc
from
the
period
of
Romania's
birth
as
a
nation
and
state
symbolising
the
first
steps
into
written
law.
There
is
also
a
cultural
venue
that
hosts
galleries,
theatre
and
all
sorts
of
cultural
events
including
a
large
outdoor
event
yearly
celebrating
the
5000
years
of
Cucuteni
culture.
Clay
artisans
come
and
display
here
for
a
few
days
each
year
and
also
sell
their
work:
cookware,
pottery,
sculptures,
figurines
and
other
hand
crafted
items.
Definitely
worth
the
stroll!
On
the
other
side
of
the
park
there
is
a
parachuting
tower
where
I
suppose
people
go
to
learn
how
to
jump.
