Highly recommend this restaurant! We ordered chicken and duck and both dishes were very very tasty! Couldn’t leave without trying at least one desert so we shared a creme brûlée. The staff is very kind and atmosphere is very relaxing and pleasant. Keep in mind that you need to make reservations for the weekends! You won’t find any table without a reservation after 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. For us, it was the first time we came here and we’re in love with this restaurant. We’ll definitely return!

This week I've been to Beca's Kitchen after more than 4 years since she opened the bistro. Man, and it did not disappoint. The food was even more delicious than I remember. We took pasta for both of us, one with tofu and one with shrimps. It was delicious. For dessert we had a chocolate mousse with fresh cherries. So sorry we didn't get to take a photo of the desert. It was too delicious 😅 Prices are more than decent, the ingredients fresh and local. The funny part is that we were surrounded only by french foreigners, felt like we were in Paris 🗼🇫🇷

Little cute bistro, with a French aroma. The menu changes quite often thus it's always written on a board (no printed version). I liked the trout salad and the sea bream (although the butter sauce was too heavy). The plump tart was a bit of a disappointment - too many flavors not mixing together. They could use some improvements around the wine list, as well. Above average prices.

Founding some good Vegetarian food was a challenge for me in Bucharest but then I came across this place having some good options. I tried this lasagna here which was quite creamy and tasted yumm. Loved the preparation and presentation as well. The place has a pretty ambiance as well.

The single not-too-large dining room is pleasantly decorated, the music was just about right, all-in-all the AMBIENCE (5/5) was just about perfect. The same can be said about the SERVICE (5/5), as the owner (and head cook) herself was very patient and spent a lot of time with us describing the dishes and providing good recommendations. When the food arrived we were happy to see her recommendations were perfectly suited to our taste. We had shrimp pasta and grilled sea bass, both of which were very fresh and tasty. Overall, top marks for the FOOD (5/5). The home made DRINKS (4/5) were also good (ginger juice and fruit tea) but kind of small. A bit on the pricey side, but maybe justified by the food quality, the VALUE (4/5) for the money is above average. Overall, this place scores 4.6 / 5.0 STARS, and we would definitely like to come again. Too bad their new schedule means they are only open in the evenings during the weekdays, and closed in the weekend...

Little family owned restaurant. You can tell they are not professionals but they are trying to do their best. Still they have a lot to improve. The ambience is nice and relaxed but the place looks a bit cheap. The menu is very inconvenient, as it is a blackboard they carry to the table. Food is fresh, good and tasty and the combinations they use make sense. It Is probably the best about this place. Their presentations look a bit messy. Sometimes simple is best. Main dishes do not come at the same time. About the service I found it patronising. And not very professional. They are a bit absent as well. Timing needs to be improved. Overall it was a good experience. It is a pace to consider in Bucharest.

Wow. What a gem to find in Romania. Away from the busy touristy section is this great small restaurant cooking way above what you are going to expect for the location and size of place. Beca herself will come out and go over the menu and tell you in great detail how every dish is prepared. We had everything from a marinated Turkey breast in red wine, Sea bass, Shrimp and Spinach Lasagna. Mind you - I just got off a two week Viking River Cruise with teams of chefs creating amazing dishes - This was just as good. I really, really loved the homemade Chocolate Ice cream with pepper.

Such lovely food here. The white wine wasn’t as chilled as it should but the food tasted so good that I am keeping the five star review. I tried the pasta with shrimp and cherry tomatoes. One of the best shrimp pastas I have ever had. Certainly the best I have tried outside of Brazil. The ambience is also lovely. Very white, subtle decor. Whoever runs this place has very good taste.

A lot of the dishes seemed adventurous in description but ended up being a little tame in execution. You will certainly find something you like here, but maybe not love. This is such a cozy and familiar place. I love the fact that the owner/chef takes your order and gives you every little detail about the dishes. The menu is very seafood based and it's very delicious. The shrimp in white wine sauce is extremely good and I would totally recommend it as a fancy dinner order. The only bad thing about my experience was that we had to wait roughly 45-50 minutes for our order, despite the fact that they said it would only take 25-30. All in all, the waiting time is worth it because the food and service are really good.

Beca is normally present in the restaurant herself and takes the food orders herself with her big smile, describing the dishes in detail and making recommendations! No table menus - just a blackboard displaying the offering - adds to the charm and Andreea personally comes to every table to enthusiastically describe her creations. Her love and passion for cooking is immediately evident and reflects what arrived at our table. The dishes are beautifully presented, full of fresh ingredients and wholesome taste. The prawn skewers were incredibly juicy and elegantly arranged in a tent-like structure underneath which was a perfectly done bed of mixed vegetables. This all sat around a moreish moat of creamy white wine sauce accompanied by some soft homemade bread to lap up any leftover flavours. Despite only being a 5-10min walk from Piata Romana, the restaurant is inconspicuously located and easy to miss. We were fortunate enough to stumble upon it enroute to our hotel and were wonderfully surprised by the warm friendly service and quality of the food. A hidden highlight of our visit to Bucharest :-)

I've had a family get together event, as part of our civil ceremony, and have had the chance to eat some of the best dishes that you can have in the city. The place is very cosy, family like, with a good vibe and great drinks to join up the food.

It's a small restaurant with only about 9 tables. Normally you need to have a reservation but luckily Beca found us a spot and were able to dine there. I got the shrimp pasta and my husband got the tofu pasta. Both were excellent dishes that used fresh ingredients and the dishes perfectly seasoned and flavoured. Didn't think we would be able to finish but it was so good we both finished our plates! Highly recommend checking out this little gem. Wish we had room for dessert because the choices also looked delicious.

Overcooked and incorrect spice balance. I would like to come to try pasta, but today pasta was not available. By the way coffee was nice, however tea is a very very small serving like 200ml.
